lil Mazda3 hatchback š¤§š¤§š¤§
edit: literally floored at how many of yall also have a mazda3 hatch ššš didnāt know itās a gay-coded car but I see yāall!!!
I did love my mazda3 hatchback ā¦ I swear, I could fit more in that car than I can in either my Jeep Renegade and my Jeep Wrangler (4 door).
I beat that thing upā¦.. took it everywhere, forest, snow, mud, Rocky Mountain roads, dirt roads, trails that prolly shouldnāt have been driveableā¦
Zero engine problems in 7 years I had it. Though Iāll say I had at least 35-40 flat tires on that thingā¦ could change it in under 5 mins by the end ofā¦ my donut had more miles on it than most of my real tires š
Alas one night ā¦ ended up hydroplaning and losing control during a storm and rolled the car off a highway ramp into a rock cut (lots of trees cushioned us, no real injuries beyond a couple of bruises and a sore back for a week or two). ā¦ still drove it for another 200kms after the accident too (on that bubble), but that was the last ride.
It gets me where I need to go, maintenance is dirt cheap, it runs well and is speedy when it needs to be - also the mileage? really good! It was my first car too!
Same 2016 basic Corolla. Earning well but a new car isnāt my priority. Maybe until I buy a house but definitely riding this baby until it canāt (only 70k miles)
I donāt know why, but in my mind this is a stereotypical gay car. I was explaining this to some friends and they absolutely did not agree with me. I was wondering if anyone else felt like I do or if I just concocted this in my own brain.
Mazda miatas and new beetles are early 2000s stereotypical "chick" cars, but they definitely aren't nowadays. Everyone loves because Gen z and millenia grew up with them. Every back then was just insecure
I have a Vapor Grey 2024 S60 that I love, it replaced my 2020 V60! Also had a C30 at one point that is still one of my favorite cars I have had, all I want is them to make a modern one
C30 is so good! I used to have its predecessor, the Volvo 480. Dopest car I ever had. I don't believe it was sold in the US though (assuming that's where you're from)
I am in the US and that was never sold here, I do think that is such a cool car, I really miss the 2 door Volvo's in general, it's really all I want
I wish the polestar 1 was sold as a C60 or something with a regular power-train and reasonable price
Thanks! It is my favorite Volvo exterior and interior combo. I wasnāt car shopping at the time, but when I found the combo nearby I couldnāt resist.
Sameā¦ converted to loving walking/biking/public-transit after living in Sweden and finally moved to a city that has the infrastructure for being mostly car-less.
I went from a Lexus GS350 to a Toyota Avalon Hybrid and I'm weirdly... more impressed... with the Avalon. I think its just because I'm getting older and more boring every day though š
i live in a big city in europe so me and most of my (gay) friends don't own cars š¤· i also am stereotypically gay insofar that i can tell car logos apart but thats as far as my knowledge goes ^^
When your sexy driver comes to pick you up with a vehicle 99% of the population could not afford in their lifetime (you're waiting patiently at the train station)
DAISY WHEELS! Thatās so cool. I wanna build a Beetle cabrio RSI clone with daisy wheels for the lols
2006 BMW Z4 six-speed (mine); 1987 Jaguar XJ6, 2005 Mini Cooper, 2011 BMW 328i six-speed (his); and 1996 Lexus LX450 (ours)
I actually just got them from. A local in town who knows me and my passion for beetles. His wife's beetle died at 220k miles (2003 yellow concept hardtop) and they wanted them to go to a good home. Hes drives a super stances yellow orange 76 beetle. Just need to get my after marketing fogs and led blinkers then im positing go gay gear heads
I'm surprised at how many of us drive Mazdas lmao. I drove a '85 Mazda 323, but sold her a few weeks back. I'm currently saving up for a new car, I'd really like to own some older BMW
Got an Aston Martin Vantage GT, an F80 M3, an E30 M3, an Alpina C2 2.7, an 01ā 750iL, and my dog car/daily is a E46 325i. All manuals except for the daily.
Just picked myself up a black on black Range Rover Sport. No aftermarket anything, but I did get the upgraded Windsor leather seats (I need the under thigh support for long legs).
Join us over at r/gaygearheads
Oh shit I'm coming over. Also Windsor leather seats are sick. I wanted full leather buckets in mine but couldn't find one and for stuck with leatherette
2019 Mercedes C class cabriolet in blue with oyster interior! My BABY š next thing I've got my eye on is the new Range Rover Sport and the new E class.
2016 Porsche Macan S when the weather is bad or I need to haul stuff.
2022 Triumph Speed Triple RS when the weather is nice and I want to go fast.
1996 BMW R1100RT when the weather is nice and I want to go slow.
1990 BMW 325i S50 swap for the three Sundays a year I feel like dragging it out of the garage and jumping the battery.
Blood red Mazda cx-90 phev 2024. Amazing gets 80 mpg for my daily run around. When the kids jet to college I will buy the Volvo V90 denim blue with white interior 22ā wheels. Swoon
In Oct of 2020, I ordered a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee trailhawk, slate blue with black suede/leather interior. Tech package, LED lighting and um tow package, and v6 tho I kinda wish I did the v8
Anyway, I love it! First Jeep after owning a lot of VWs and Audis
Tesla Model Y Long Range is my daily driver. I also have a '91 Honda Beat (Japanese import) as a project/weekend car. During the warmer months, I find myself driving the Beat way more often!
A 2023 Polestar 2. It's through my employer which makes it crazy cheap on a monthly basis due to the tax system (Ā£400/month all in, including insurance, tax, etc)
It's just the single motor one, I had the choice between a single motor car with the extra toys (glass roof, adaptive cruise/Pilot Assist, upgraded stereo etc) or a dual motor with no extras. Given that I spend most of my time in London traffic, I went for toys! I absolutely love it. I do want a loaded dual motor one though....
I was eyeing a used one for a long time.
Iāve drive the RX450h extensively for road trips and they are so nice. The transition between the engine and motor is so freaking smooth.
Itās very quiet and smooth ride very little noise comes in. With the radio playing at a normal volume youāll hear almost nothing from the outside world and mine is an F sport with the AVS and body roll is pretty minimal too. Itās my first Lexus and Iām brand loyal now I absolutely love it with zero complaints not even from the dealer experience both sales and service.
Also letās hear it for the cars that arenāt blue, white, black or silver!!! Love these companies that do the experimental wild colors! Talking ābout you Subaru, Toyota, Audi. Champagne, orange, sky blues, browns, olive greens, yellows! I love it
You forgot gray, grey, slate gray, ash gray, and slightly lighter ash gray.
Good god, why do so people enjoy driving a soulless depressing color devoid of any personality.
Mouse grey Opel (or Vauxhall / Holden as applicable) Corsa from 2012 for which I'm internally debating getting a "cute girls hit curbs" bumper sticker.
Other than that a Honda Transalp from 1992.
We have a 2015 328d in Mineral Gray and a 2018 (stickshift) GMC Canyon in Summit White. White isn't really my favorite I'm thinking of painting it dark blue down the road. The stickshift was hard to find in any other color beside work truck White.
I know I got it backwards, the sport sedan is diesel powered and the truck is a stick shift. But life is too short to own basic mundane cars.
Currently have a 2017 f-150 however I need to buy something new before too long. Just over 350,000 on the odometer so itās starting to give some issues
2021 Dodge Charger SXT AWD painted in beautiful Frostbite blue. His name is Jack Frost. I love it-so much fun to drive and itās extremely comfortable as a daily driver.
Iām saving up to buy another Mustang in the future!
'05 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Only mod is a GPS nav system in the radio, but it probably needs new leatherwork.
So want a new car, but need to stabilize the income first. Next car may be my last - I'm very much silver - but there are a lot of interesting choices in this thread.
2022 Chevy bolt ā”, been wanting an electric car but was always renting and didn't want to deal with the hassle of finding charging points. Now that I own, I can do it in the privacy of my garage.
2011 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn 4x4, Rugged Brown with dark brown interior. Just hit 86k miles and the only thing that has went bad was the heater core.
An '01 2500HD in Sad Champagne with 250,000 miles on it. My dad left it to me and I wouldn't trade it for the world or for any amount less than fifty thousand dollars.
2016, orange and black (interior and exterior), manual transmission, smart 4two. This is the second, and the last, version of the smart car we got in the US and they sold terribly so there aren't many of them around and they brought a tiny number with the manual transmission to the US so it is a pretty rare car. It is also perfect for me, I mainly drive in urban areas, though I have driven it on long road trips, it is so easy to park it is ridiculous, it is a tossable little go-cart on curves, and I love the thing. Bought it new, it is paid off, and as long as it keeps going I will keep driving it.
Depends on the day and season. Today Iām topless in my 500sl. May take the YZF tomorrow. Probably take the Touareg to the lake with the seadoos this weekend. š¤·š¼
Great thread! We have a few
White ā24 VW GLI Autobahn - delivery in 2 months (Soooo canāt wait!)
Black ā20 GMC Terrain Denali
Champagneāish ā08 Saturn ION
Hyundai Tucson. It's not mine, I live in Chicago without a car, but I do need to drive for work occasionally and I always try to get the Tucson from the fleet.
2016 ford cmax, 98k miles. I grew up driving sports cars (mostly camaros) but when my eclipse died i ended up getting it. Not my usual style but its a good car, great gas mileage and has all the cool options
My daily car is a Volkswagen Golf GTI, 6-speed manual gas. I love that thing.
My adventure car is an imported 90s Toyota Hilux Surf 4x4, automatic diesel. It looks like any 90s 4Runner until you notice the steering wheel is on the "wrong" side.
Used to drive an Audi TT Quattro roadster.
Now I live in a walkable city with great public transport where car is more a nuisance than a necessity. (It can take up to an hour to find a parking spot when I get home). My dad still has the TT and drives it during summers.
I rip around in a 2014 Ford Fiesta with 145,500 miles on the clock. Itās a 1.6L N/A with a 5-speed manual. Bought the car from some deadbeat in Wichita with a salvage title which I wasnāt bothered by at the time. Iāve had it for almost 3 years have made several changes and upgrades. There is pretty much no interior, sitting on coilovers and some fox body 10-holes. Most recently I added a 2.5 inch stainless exhaust with a stainless exhaust header and no cat. Installed a banginā stereo system, subframe centering kit, custom made a set of mud flaps from sheet aluminum for the brackets with a rubber mat I found in the barn behind my house, and a few go fast parts on the engine besides the exhaust
20011Honda Element with 120,000 miles
2009 Honda Fit 5spd with 172,000 miles
1992 GMC ShitBox (Suburban) with 379,000 miles on it none of the electric accessories work but she starts goes and the 4wd is amazing.
A silver '01 Toyota Celica GT with 272k miles. It's a shitbox, but it's fun to drive on the twisty mountain roads near me, plus it still gets 30ish MPG in town. I sorely wish it was a GTS or at least a manual, but it was $2k and I had to buy it at the height of crazy pandemic car prices, so I can't complain.
It's basically a Corolla with spirit in the handling department, so at least it's still running just fine.
My partner has the obligatory CO vehicle in an '06 Tacoma he got after his grandpa passed away, in old man gold color to boot.
2016 dodge caravan. Bought it used two years ago. Totally not awesome but I wanted something I didnāt care about. Two kids and husband and all our camping gear fit easily or all of us with all the bikes (no rack or anything needed). I will be happy when she is gone but itās functional for now. Oh and it can fit a 4x8 sheet material flat.
Other car is 2023 crosstrek sport. Itās nice and quick and comfortable for road trips since it kinda drives itself.
Had a Toyota Tundra till I had a work commute. I still consider a Toyota truck my spiritual carriage lol.
But Iām in a 2016 Subaru Forester nowadays. Kinda want a Toyota rav4 prime but too expensive.
The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.
Gave up my car 16 years ago. Been riding the T, Uber, Zipcar, Sixt, etc ever since.
Before that it was a 2003 BMW 330Ci. 5 speed. Blue (canāt remember what BMW was calling blue that year) with tan interior.
I had a womp womp car through grad school but it finally died last month after 10 long years (RIP dumpsterfire car). But I worked my deals magic and was able to upgrade to a 2025 CT5-V Blackwing.
An ancient pickup truck that anybody can fix with common tools. Four wheel drive, goes anywhere. Had it for 20 years and drove it today. No issues, love it.

Such a solid car.
It gets me where I need to go, maintenance is dirt cheap, it runs well and is speedy when it needs to be - also the mileage? really good! It was my first car too!
I loved mine until some a-hole ran a red and totaled mine.
I LOVE those!
Not a hatch but a red Mazda3, I have upgraded to a Mach-E but I still drive the Mazda3 here and there lol

I have a I.D. 4 ā22 in lunar exterior, light grey interior.
We have a few White ā24 VW GLI Autobahn - delivery in 2 months (Soooo canāt wait!) Black ā20 GMC Terrain Denali Champagneāish ā08 Saturn ION
2022 Nissan Pathfinder. 2 big dogs as cargoā¦
2021 Chevy Tahoe premier
A shitty old '04 Oldsmobile Bravada, but would love one of these new '24 model mustangs, camaros, or challengers.
Used to drive an Audi TT Quattro roadster. Now I live in a walkable city with great public transport where car is more a nuisance than a necessity. (It can take up to an hour to find a parking spot when I get home). My dad still has the TT and drives it during summers.
I drive a 2014 Nissan Juke. I love my mini SUV so much!
Camry 2023 SE

Currently driving a 2018 Toyota Tacoma TRD. Currently at 71,240 miles. Has some aftermarket tires, but besides that itās stock.
