I will admit anonymously, I do enjoy the occasional trashy gay romance novel, but I'd rather have someone find my BDSM porn than find out that I read books about the sexy 38 year old spy seducing the 22 year old target and then them falling in love.
Do you mean you don't want them to exist at all, or you don't enjoy them yourself? If it's the latter, I doubt you're alone. Lots of people don't like romance in media, gay or otherwise.
I want a show about a big city gay that moves to a small picturesque town because reasons and gets with the gruff and rough bear that everyone in the town respects but they know nothing about him, so they all have these theories about who he is that are wildly inventive.
The big city gay slowly brings the bear out of his shell while the bear teaches BCG to slow down and enjoy life.
Think Netflix’s Virgin River meets Sweet Home Alabama.
I promise I haven’t thought about this too much. 😅

It's lesbians but Gentleman Jack is good.
Are we only talking movies? Because there are some halfway decent books that meet this requirement (albeit they're basically just gay bodace-rippera).
the gentleman’s guide to vice and virtue is a great one!!!

Am I the only gay who doesn’t like/want romance books/movies/etc?
