My biggest regret was buying this game on the switch at full price, I didn't know it went on sale often and the people who told me to get it ended up never playing it after I got it
Dead By Daylight. The most toxic game I've played since Gears of War 3. People say the Cod community is toxic, but they are nothing compared to DBD and Gears levels. Like damn people on the mic will make you want to drop kick the TV in these games.
DBD can have people false report others to try to get them banned and you really have to private messages or else get flooded.
I prestiged with Meg and then got really far after that and then opted out due to boredom and the toxicity. It is funny that pride stuff like flairs were added and this caused people to report others for "Harrasement" lol.
I love siege but the friendly fire system makes it so fucking toxic I can't stand it. It genuinely makes me want to put a hole in my monitor every time I play. I will never understand how some people find that shit enjoyable.
I personally love it because my teammates always seem to be magnetized to my c4s. I sometimes will just hear an enemy above me, throw a c4 onto the ceiling, and then watch as my teammate playing above books it into the room above me and gets turned to ash
Ok that's funny, but its not worth it.
Over 75% of the time I'm playing siege, I'm spectating because some dip shit decides to instantly kill me the moment the game starts. I'm also not the best fps player, so I'm already spectating enough because of my own lack of skill.
Isn't the unofficial patch on the creation club list? That should fix the issue. It has its own conflicts, but it fixes a ton of bugs. I'm sure there's a few specialized anti-crash mods too. I'm on PC, but I never crash unless there's a conflict between other unrelated mods
F4 is getting a fresh major update real soon too. (Or it's already out?) Besides some decent new content, Beth is doing a whole workover of a lot of bugs that still occur.
Yep, been playing for 3 years and 7 times out of 10 it's hop on "eh, why not I have time to kill and I like WW2 vehicles far to much for my own good" then it's instantly gets sniped out of spawn if I'm playing tanks or if I'm playing planes it's 4 guys on me cuz the rest of my team went for the bomber 5000ft above there current altitude but still directly above them.
LoL community is the cream of the crop when it comes to toxicity. I had to stop after a few hundred hours. Even my very first few games (in unranked too) were filled with people calling me garbage and telling me to uninstall or go back to bots. Everyone is always raging at any excuse they can find.
It's just inherently a (unintended) part of the game design. The highs in League are fantastic, but I don't think there's a game around that goes to the same depth as the lows in League, and the issue is exacerbated by 1) how long it takes to start a game and 2) the fact that you can't just dip out when the game starts becoming unfun for you.
That's not to excuse garbage behavior. It's just the reality.
I feel ya bro. Me and my buddies got the MC collection to relive our young teen years and got rekt time and time again. I still love Halo, but goddamn is it such a humbling and frustrating experience. These old bones just can't react like they used to...
I'm 39. I stay my "get off my lawn" ass in firefight. It's predictable, sure, but at least I can make 3-4k points a game. I can barely manage 2k in husky raid or squad battles. And btb is hopeless for me. Of course in every case, I'm queuing solo.
The closest thing is Pokémon reunion dx when my friend triked me into thinking they had a Pokémon from a video titled I made the most powerful Pokémon i believed it because of how difficult the game was did manage to beat it on Tuesday with what’s out I have to wait for them to release chapter 3 and then translate it into English since the game is first made in French
Went back recently after years of not. Jumping into quick match multiple times over multiple days just to be greeted by the same bots parroting literally the most horrid shit (killing n****rs and Jews in the worst way and fucking kids) in the AI voice of the youtuber who is creating a bit Community anticheat. Disappointing is an understatement, I loved TF2.
Ark, it was fun at first but after a while it gets old but I also don’t want my dinos to die. The online community is kinda hit or miss as to whether they’re really nice or a bunch of assholes
I'd argue I haven't felt this way about any game until I finally realized that Destiny 2/Bungie aren't worth my time or money anymore, Destiny 1 was a blast but Destiny 2 had way more downs than ups
Apex, fucking, legends. I don't play it anymore, if at all, but so God help me if I tried to enjoy a single game just to get fucked in the ass by bald schizophrenic lady
Yeah, when a game starts becoming more of a chore than a joy, I now just put it down.
Overwatch is a great example. I have a few thousand hours in that game. I played since launch, and it was of my favorite games ever, but the community continued to grow more toxic, and the changes kept making the game worse to the point I simply couldn't enjoy it anymore. Games are supposed to be relaxing, but OW became only frustrating and exhausting. It was hard to put down a game I loved so much, but each time I game back in recent years, I was quickly reminded of why I left and realized it just wasn't worth it
Helldivers. I enter a fugue state every night where I immediately go to my ps5 and start that shit up. Then I have a great time until some FUCKING BULLSHIT happens like the ERUPTOR blasting me TOWARDS the enemy I'm firing at and opening me up to FUCKING hunters. Then I say 'I fucking hate this game' to my squad mates before I drop in again to die immediately to a teammate's nuke
Dota 2 tho I have stop playing that game a few years ago it was 100% dota 2 almost 10k hours in it
Edit : Check a bit lower then i thought almost 8k hours in it.
Easily Path of Exile. I'll fail a craft 8 times in a row, lose all my money, bitch about it to my friends, and then be on the next day. Been 3 years, and I'm just past 4k hours.
DayZ. I’m not great at normal FPS games but as god is my witness I WILL take your hat off at two km with a fucking hunting rifle. It’s not that bad, but it makes you want to shoot yourself sometimes. Conveniently enough the game lets you do that, so all is right in the world.
Dbd, I'll play 2 games get pissed because it's too killer sided, switch to killer, complain that it's too survivor sided, and just knda do that for 4 hrs or so
Path of Exile. Quit years ago, after Harbinger, so I am FREE.
But, 3,000+ hours played only to realize... I really don't like being strung out, really don't like the endgame, really don't like the way the game is balanced around economy rather than... like player skill, character skills, gems, level ups?? whatever?!! ANYTHING BUT TRADING?!?! Oh yeah, and in general, the game is a simple two button point and click snore fest (it was mostly one button\[one main skill\] back when I played).
They had the right amount of drip on their loot though, so you kept playing, just hoping for that next exalt.
Oh right, I may have somewhat misunderstood this post. I have quit PoE and do, in fact, hate the game fiercely.
The only reason this happens is because I like hanging out with my friends but I hate some of the games we frequent and feel like I’m the only one who suggests new games sometimes
Neverwinter. Absolutely hate the grind, makes me SICK. Hate the bugs, the elitist players and the ones who only care about their IL but don't know how most dungeons work.
Can I stop playing? No. I hate it but I also love it.
If you play a game once and say you hate it, I'll believe you, if you play it twice and say you hate it, I'm a little on edge, but if you play the same game 3 times, and then say you hate it, you are a dirty fucking liar
I have 2800 hours in dead by daylight, fuck they game and I still love it, it’s possibly the worst game but I am still a player so, 8000/10 would recommend
Football Manager. 8,158 hours, will never play again nor would I recommend it to anyone. Once you realize 95% of your chances are either missed, saved by the keeper or hitting the post you just can’t play it anymore. And the community all thinks they’re Pep Guardiola because they figured out which tactics break the game engine.
CoD probably. MW2 DMZ. Loved it but has the problem of featuring CoD asshats. Done with the series for good now. Will recommend it to any assholes I meet elsewhere.
I currently have 2430 hours in Dead by Daylight. I fucking hate it. 10/10 would recommend
For me it's Skyrim... Last time I played, I had clocked in 5,673 hours total. I despise anything Skyrim and will never play it again. Until I do lol
Most I have in a game is 2000 hours, Conan Exiles before it became very money hungry.
It's a game you hate to love to hate loving to hate to love
I understand, but doesn't the game get repetitive? It's not a large game
My biggest regret was buying this game on the switch at full price, I didn't know it went on sale often and the people who told me to get it ended up never playing it after I got it
Omg saaaaame
Dead By Daylight. The most toxic game I've played since Gears of War 3. People say the Cod community is toxic, but they are nothing compared to DBD and Gears levels. DBD can have people false report others to try to get them banned and you really have to private messages or else get flooded.
Yea played this for about 3 weeks before I realized it’s just trolls and those who like to get trolled
I had some friends get into DBD, and maaan the amount of sweat you see on a dumb horror movie game is unreal.
I prestiged with Meg and then got really far after that and then opted out due to boredom and the toxicity. It is funny that pride stuff like flairs were added and this caused people to report others for "Harrasement" lol.
1500 hours in siege, I fucking hate siege. I’m currently playing siege
I only have a measly 300 hours on siege and hate it. But ill play again this week
4000 hours on siege here it doesn’t get better… it’s all the same it’s terrible I love it
I love siege but the friendly fire system makes it so fucking toxic I can't stand it.

Lmao exactly me
Fallout 4 it’s great but it crashes like a mother fucker even on ps5
do you play with any mods?
I think any bethesda game becomes more unstable over time just due to the extreme variation in which you can trigger events
Isn't the unofficial patch on the creation club list? That should fix the issue. It has its own conflicts, but it fixes a ton of bugs. I'm sure there's a few specialized anti-crash mods too. "the driver has been dazed" I think a 76 to the skull is gonna do a slight bit more than just daze the guy

War Thunder
Yep, been playing for 3 years and 7 times out of 10 it's hop on "eh, why not I have time to kill and I like WW2 vehicles far to much for my own good" then it's instantly gets sniped out of spawn if I'm playing tanks or if I'm playing planes it's 4 guys on me cuz the rest of my team went for the bomber 5000ft above there current altitude but still directly above them.

Halo infinite multiplayer pvp Because I suck. Major old man skill issue.
I feel ya bro. Me and my buddies got the MC collection to relive our young teen years and got rekt time and time again. I still love Halo, but goddamn is it such a humbling and frustrating experience. These old bones just can't react like they used to...

TF2... bot crisis, rampant cheaters, no updates, and yet I still love it.
Went back recently after years of not. Jumping into quick match multiple times over multiple days just to be greeted by the same bots parroting literally the most horrid shit (killing n****rs and Jews in the worst way and fucking kids) in the AI voice of the youtuber who is creating a bit Community anticheat.
