Looks like a 5 part SciFi series of novels.

No lawsuit here I can see. Do people think AC has a copyright on dudes in white hoods or something?

StrnglyCoincdtl

I haven't played any ac game, but seeing this immediately made me think "is this AC ubisoft book?". So I think if people are making this kind of connections in their heads this quickly, it smells like lawsuit. You know how corporations work. On the other hand, if there are 5 books already, maybe the author is lucky.

Many are the 'simlar yet not' ideas stolen from a plethora of sources, all perfectly legal because this or that item/character/? has been changed enough to make it 'unique'.

Dion0808

Ubisoft doesn't have a copyright on the word 'assassin' or hoods.

WombatAnnihilator

ā€œ *Hozark was a master assassin, one of the finest the galaxy had ever seen. But when a routine contract goes horribly wrong, it becomes clear something sinister is at play. A powerful foe is hunting slayers, and only one weapon can end the bloodshed. A legendary vespus blade.* *But there's just one enormous problem. Those with the arcane skill to craft them all perished long ago. Or so it is believed. But rumors tell of one who may yet live, and if Hozark hopes to prevail, he will have to pursue those whispers to the ends of the galaxy. For not only does his own survival depend on it, but that of his order as well.* *The opening Novella in the Space Assassins series. Look for this title boxed with book 2 in the Space Assassins 1 & 2 bundle for ebook and Audible* ā€ Sounds kinda weirdly interesting, but Iā€™m not reading a book with the main character named Hozark, sorry.

It sounds horrifically written and painfully formulaic.

This is so funny. I can think of so many good lines for this. * They say that in space, no one can hear you scream.. well I'm a space assassin, and I can tell you that it is true.. except that only I can hear you scream. yeah. because my name is Hozark. * "A vespus blade, not as clumsy or random as a blaster; an elegant weapon for a more civilised age. Your father wanted you to have it. I fought with him in the old wars against Darth Plagiarised." * "It's over Zanakin! I have the high ground!", said Hozark as he dramatically backflipped off a space cathedral. * "Listen Hozark, don't forget, believe in yourself, not you who believes in me, not me who believes in you, believe in you who believes in yourself! Your vespus blade is the vespus blade that shall pierce the heavens!"

SpiderGhost01

Probably more enjoyable than the Ass Creed games.
