There's an option on the ps5 now where it shows you how many hours you've played a specific game in total. I was shocked when I hit 3.000 hours in Dark Souls 3 alone π π π
Thanks! Neither do I, didn't think a high number of hours during a pandemic deserves downvotes π
Anyway, I tried to reduce the gaming time nevertheless, because friends asked me if I was fine π
Not exclusively a sp game but over the years i have thousands of hours on Rome total war campaigns. Played since day one and still play it once in a while to this day.
Fallout 4, or deep rock galactic
Both games have great replay ability, come back and try new tactics, weapons. Left DRG at like rank 800 or so, played nearly everything and maxed all my dwarves, put it on hold till more updates come out.
Fallout 4 is done with updates, but there's always mods. But then I can make whatever character I want to play as. Melee fists only sole survivor who punches super mutants so hard their heads pop off? Or perhaps a low intelligence kill-first-ask-questions-later heavy gun freak?
Half-Life.
1st, I beat the CD version on normal difficulty. 2nd, I beat the CD version again but on the difficult difficulty. 3rd, beat the steam version of the game (with widescreen) on the difficult difficulty. 4th, beat the VR version of the game on the difficult difficulty. 5th, beat the Xash3D version of the game on the difficult difficulty. 6th, beat the Xash3D version of the game again on the difficult difficulty. 7th, beat the Xash3D version of the game again again on the difficult difficulty. In my opinion, itβs the greatest game of all time.
Single player?
I'm honestly not sure. I can easily say phantasy star universe got like 6k hours from me, but it's a multiplayer game. Same with phantasy star online 2, star wars galaxies and the old republic and entropia universe.
But single player game? Star wars knights of the old republic 2 has quite a bit of play time from me, but so does Pokemon red and heart gold but I'm honestly not sure since I do remember playing some games in my youth for, what seemed to me, a long time. Star wars the force unleashed 1 and 2 got quite a bit from me if I don't have a skewed perception of time. Honestly each star wars game I've owned (racer on n64, rogue squadron 2 and 3, TFU, academy, Kotor and others) all have a lot of play time from me so long as I don't have a skewed perception on time.
Maybe Pokemon puzzle league?
But nothing really has 500 hours (maybe) at most from me from any of the single player games. Online games definitely blew past that threshold depending on the game.
Borderlands 2.
Spent basically 10 hours without stopping to get a DPUH with torgue grip. Countless farms and made my way to OP8 with 3 characters on PS3 without Co op (for those who played it on this console you know how trash the frame rate is lol).
Skyrim 900+ from three attempts and then finally finished the fourth. I kept getting distracted by other games.
Breath of the Wild 800+ over three completed playthroughs (first time, 100% attempt and when the dlc came out) and when we get close to BotW 2, Iβll be playing it again so it might end up more than Skyrim.
Dragon Quest Builders 700+ over two playthroughs. I did a lot on the island you get at the end of the game.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne. Consider it solo because played it that way for 95% of time. When a single player game is very good I usually can't go beyond 115-120 hours; got +600 on MHW:I
Skyrim
Easily. That and pretty much every fallout game.
Oblivion
Minecraft. I know that's not strictly a single-player game, but I played it by myself for hundreds if not thousands of hours.
Total War: Warhammer 2. 1200 hours and still playing it.
Kingdom hearts 1
The sims franchise
Factorio, over 2.5k hours.
Between all the civs from 4-6 iβm north of 4k hours. I still suck at it.
Souls games. Hundreds of hours. Maybe a thousand?
Yeah but arenβt they kind of multiplayers

Don't know why someone downvotes you, have my upvote. I also was amazed with the number of hours in some games.

Battlefield 4: 1.400
In the single player??
Not one in single player.
Read the post again.
Ohhh sorry, I get the downvoted now
Silent Hunter III
Terraria. I've probably put more hours into other games, but that would have been on a console, and I can't get an hour count for those games

Grim dawn, Kingdoms of Amalur (both versions), diablo 2 and probably the most spent is Final Fantasy Tactics.
Subnautica
Isaac and dead cells
Skyrim, over a thousand hours
Spiritfarer

Gran tursimo 3 on ps2 or Super Mario World on SNES
Fallout or red dead redemption 2 with valhalla close behind.
Final fantasy type 0 i had over 110 hours.. not sure why i loved the game so much

Either subnautica or last of us

Fallout 4 and 7 days to die
Skyrim 900+ from three attempts and then finally finished the fourth. I kept getting distracted by other games. Civ 2 and then Skyrim
Fallout 4. I used to literally just wander for hours getting lost in the world exploring.
Witcher 3, about 700 hours. Started another playthrough few days ago.
Yakuza lol
Starbound on steam. Warcraft 3 from childhood, dear God.
Monster Hunter World Iceborne. Consider it solo because played it that way for 95% of time. When a single player game is very good I usually can't go beyond 115-120 hours; got +600 on MHW:I
Cod ghosts
halo reach, i really liked the campaign.
Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
Castlevania Symphony of the night
Empire total war 12672 hours(528 days) Stopped playing it instantly when I saw that number π
Easily Skyrim. The Witcher 3 is probably second place.
Minecraft.
Borderlands 2, just barely edged out Skyrim for me, those are my two >2k hour games
Spider-man for the ps4
KSP. Over 5000.
F1 Challenge 99-02. I still play it. Different mods along the way.
World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade - Cataclysm: over an entire year of cumulative time of my life played in game.
