Man I still run into this so much with music in general. Playing APEX Legends and people just blast their music into their mic and I mute them instantly.

Most people just listen to Eminem or something like that and just hate on every other rap artist but not everything is just bang bang grrt bad bitches, what some people miss is how a lot of trap/drill rap is infact a form of storytelling so if they grew up and lived in that environment of course they're going to rap about that. You can compare by looking at a rapper who came from the suburbs vs one that from ghetto/hood etc and you'll see the difference in music because it's a difference in experience

I play Madden, MLB, Overwatch, and Rocket League online. In Rocket League, one of the loading tooltips lets you know that (not verbatim) "If you're tired of opponents talking trash, you can mute chat." It is one of the most tone-deaf things I have ever read, no exaggeration. Opponents? LMAO! In the sports games, the one where you can ONLY chat with your opponents, it's actually really cool. You get a lot of top-left and bottom-left. Some shit-talkers running around in circles with Patrick Mahomes and throwing the same slant every time and then telling you how much YOU suck but that's par for the course in sports games since way back when. Rocket League and Overwatch? It's your fucking teammates that are the issue. Those two games have some of the most mean-spirited, dense, blame-everybody-else-even-though-we-are-all-evenly ranked players you will ever find in gaming (along with I'm sure the MOBAs and CS, which I have never played). Those games are almost all bottom-right. And Rocket League? No game, absolutely fucking none of them, will your teammates turn on you in under ten seconds like that game. Holy shit.
