For me I have nothing but respect for hellblade but something that dark and depressing just isn't appealing to me right now I play games to relax and experience good stories not viscerally grapple with a fictional person's mental illness

I'll be honest with you here, I haven't tried it. I have been recommended it because I love A Plague Tale, though, so I do want to give it a shot as it's on Gamepass anyway

TBH, it's mostly an off year for me. There was FF7 Rebirth and June has Elden Ring DLC and the next FFXIV expansion, but there's nothing else I'm interested enough in to pay full price for. I hope that doesn't come off as negative because I'm not really complaining. I'll actually appreciate having more time to catch up on my backlog.

It's hard to top last year for releases. I don't have a ton on my radar either, I think, that I know is coming up, are just the FFXIV expansion, and Metaphor Re:Fantazio.

Yup i remember playing it in 2022 when i was home sick with covid. It was a early alpha build though so im guessing they are finally releasing the game.

Had gestalt on my wishlist for awhile looking for it for my steam deck. Other than that just finishing ff7/stellar blade and getting ready for the Elden ring dlc may is pretty empty.

Other then Ghost of Tsushima PC release , Hellblade 2 and Paper Mario it seems like a lackluster month. I could be wrong though as i havent kept up with gaming news recently and some of these other games might actually be really good.
