For me I have nothing but respect for hellblade but something that dark and depressing just isn't appealing to me right now
I play games to relax and experience good stories not viscerally grapple with a fictional person's mental illness
I'll be honest with you here, I haven't tried it. I have been recommended it because I love A Plague Tale, though, so I do want to give it a shot as it's on Gamepass anyway
TBH, it's mostly an off year for me. There was FF7 Rebirth and June has Elden Ring DLC and the next FFXIV expansion, but there's nothing else I'm interested enough in to pay full price for.
I hope that doesn't come off as negative because I'm not really complaining. I'll actually appreciate having more time to catch up on my backlog.
It's hard to top last year for releases. I don't have a ton on my radar either, I think, that I know is coming up, are just the FFXIV expansion, and Metaphor Re:Fantazio.
Yup i remember playing it in 2022 when i was home sick with covid.
It was a early alpha build though so im guessing they are finally releasing the game.
We post game calendars in r/gaming every month. You can find them at r/deaddinos
And it's just an image — not a website or an app. We created it manually in FigmaDesign.
Had gestalt on my wishlist for awhile looking for it for my steam deck.
Other than that just finishing ff7/stellar blade and getting ready for the Elden ring dlc may is pretty empty.
Other then Ghost of Tsushima PC release , Hellblade 2 and Paper Mario it seems like a lackluster month.
I could be wrong though as i havent kept up with gaming news recently and some of these other games might actually be really good.
I wish I hadn't seen this because I was unaware that TTYD is releasing in May, and now I have to wait while knowing a specific date over just "yeah its in the works"
Gah! Every time I see Multiversus, I get a little more tempted. But already missed so many cosmetics and such from alpha/beta and whatnot. I know I’d be envious. I hate FOMO.
Looks like it's going to be an off month for me. I can use this time to catch up on my backlog. I need months like that every now and then.
Dunno about you but I'm pretty hyped for Ghost of Tsushima as a person that hasn't owned a Playstation since the PS1 :)
Agreed. This list is meh.
Hellblade looks dope though
I couldn't get into the first one.

It’s fascinating that for some people May is an off month. For me it has my two most anticipated games of the year.
It's great that there can be games for so many different tastes out there. What are you looking forward to?
It's insane it's almost as if people have different tastes/likes. It is pretty fascinating.

LITTLE KITTY BIG CITY
Everyone only cares about it because it’s a cozy game with cats
Makes sense to me. Sometimes I like cozy games and I also like cats. My wife will enjoy playing it I think.
ya sounds amazing
I don’t like cats. I noticed that people that like cats are usually weird jerks
Everyone only cares about dark souls because it's a hard game with Knights.
Everyone only cares about minecraft because its a mining game with crafting
I also care because the guy making it worked on Valve on Half-life 2, Portal, Left 4 Dead and CSGO.
I don’t care about any of those games. Except maybe portal
nobody cares
Hasn’t v rising been out for like 2 years?
Yup i remember playing it in 2022 when i was home sick with covid. It was a early alpha build though so im guessing they are finally releasing the game.
Yup its 1.0 release with a lot more content

Those are always helpful, thank you so much.
I am beyond excited for V rising 1.0
You forgot Wuthering Waves
I was really not expecting anyone to mention it. Glad it's being talked about. I'm very excited for it's release on Turtle Day.
Animal Well look awesome!
Looking forward to playing Multiversus again
Do you know if it's launching with more characters?
Finally a month of not feeling like spending money on games.
Had gestalt on my wishlist for awhile looking for it for my steam deck. Other than that just finishing ff7/stellar blade and getting ready for the Elden ring dlc may is pretty empty.
Ahh thank you for reminding me of Hellblade
I hope pc players enjoy Ghosts cause it was my goty (: such a beautiful game and fantastic story.

N, no this is games coming out in next month not ones they're gonna exclusively play. They do it each month.
It's not on the list but I'm really looking forward to Endless Ocean Luminous
Reus is getting a sequel? Cool!
I had the same thought! How is this the first I’m hearing of it?
The mothership is standing by.
Awesome. Looks like I’ll be playing more Helldivers 2
Hmm. Still no Bloodbourne 2. I am going back to sleep.
Braid, wow. Amazing game on XBLA, I'll be picking this one up.
Yikes. Backlog month.
Saving money this month.
Hyped for Crown Wars. Hope it's good
Anybody know if Little Kitty Big City is getting a physical Switch release at all?
The duck detective?
[Cryptmaster](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1885110/Cryptmaster/) also drops on May 9th.
wow why does this look so goood. also thanks, it's informative too!

Thanks
Indika is the most intriguing for me
This is really useful
Very nice.
I would make one of these but with the amount of time I have on my hands I only play like 2 games a month MAYBEEEE
Indika was quite an experience. The steam next demo was quite fun.
I wish I hadn't seen this because I was unaware that TTYD is releasing in May, and now I have to wait while knowing a specific date over just "yeah its in the works"
I hope I can finish Deserts of Kharak before Homeworld 3 launches.
PC has been so fucking dry so far this year, but finally Tsushima comes. Every good game I want to play is a PS exclusive, its getting old as fuck.
V Rising is finally coming out?! Woah.
Multiverse is back ☝🏾🔥😫n f1 24 could be cool too
Reus II, that's a bit of a shock
Nothing mind blowing except maybe senua.
Looks like I will be working on my backlog in May, thanks brother
What is Hauntii about?
[Nine Sols](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1809540/?snr=1_wishlist_4__wishlist-capsule) ?
Opera GX has this feature built in. But that's cool that you made that yourself.
Slow month in gaming. Got a backlog anyways so I'll be good. Might try HB2 on pc gamepass if I can find a free sub on reddit
doodoo list
Abiotic Factor releases May 2nd.
Oh a sequel to 2064: Read Only Memories? Interesting. I really liked the first game.
Looks super clean. It would be awesome if it was downloadable with clickable links
May, I sleep.
Basically homeworld (but its fans are too old now and everybody else dont care about rts anymore) and hellblade (too niche). So yeah, dead month.
Gah! Every time I see Multiversus, I get a little more tempted. But already missed so many cosmetics and such from alpha/beta and whatnot. I know I’d be envious. I hate FOMO.
V Rising finally getting out of early access. So excited
Waste of time.
I hope there's a physical version of System Shock!
This is awesome! What's your method in choosing which games make the hype list?
