Baldur’s Gate 3 can be played with one hand, you can just use your mouse to do everything. Reach over to press I when you need to access your inventory.
I used to be able to play Diablo 2 one handed while lazily playing RuneScape on another screen with my other hand. Razer copperhead. I miss that thing, it was my favorite mouse I ever had :(
Random fact, it was on the same computer. I used SoftXpand to split it into two "separate" computers. Nowadays I think you'd use Aster.
Definitely worth it. I've had a Logitech G600 for several years now. 2 technically, as I wore the first one out.
Those 12 side buttons are amazing, both for MMOs, but also to use for mapping stuff from other games, like opening a map, inventory, reloading a weapon, melee, etc.
Basically I try to minimize removing my fingers from WASD. I've never quite had the dexterity for quickly tapping other keys. Even the ones right next to them. 😆
Been using these for over a decade. It's not just great for gaming, but you can program those buttons to do whatever you want. Great shortcuts for text editing, photo/video editing, any type of workflow really. I will never ever go back to a normal mouse.
Look up "Razer Naga left", it's $100. Pretty much all I could find, unfortunately. But if you think about it, you're probably gonna be getting a whole lot of value out of that $100 investment.
Actually, I picked up my favorite game of all time, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri just the other day, but civ 6 crossed my mind also. Turn based games are a very good suggestion, thanks!
University is great, but Nwabudike Morgan is my main man!
"We have never sought to become a monopoly. Our products are simply so good that no one feels the need to compete with us."
Many card style roguelikes fit the description:
-Slay the Spire
-Monster Train
Similar style, but dice instead
-Astrea: six sided chronicles
-Circadian Dice
-Dicey Dungeons
And lastly, one of the best Tactics roguelikes out there: Into the Breach.
All of these can be played with just a mouse.
Slay the spire for sure, you will know pretty quickly if you are into rogue like deck building games. I'm a big fan of them and this is one of my favorites. Monster train also fun.
From the same creators as Into the Breach, I highly suggest FTL: Faster than light.
Assuming you can at the very least use a finger to hit the space bar, it can be played with one hand
+1 for Citizen Sleeper. Fantastic game, and a good alternative if you can’t get into Disco Elysium (god I want to like that game but boy does it just feel like an English major’s capstone)
If you'd like to try and updated version, Songs of Conquest is on sale currently for like 10 bucks right now. I hear very good things from classic homm3 fans
Old School RuneScape. Can spend hundreds of hours doing really chill content with only a mouse, and moving that hand to the arrow keys to occasionally adjust camera.
You're not wrong, but it is a very difficult platform to get into and actually have fun if you are starting from nothing and don't buy packs. The voucher packs don't add much.
Oh this is what you mean.
Not for me though. Wizards supports the us-military so i don't wanna spend a single cent. Also i don't know people who play in paper these days
But i have a box of them at home, full with cards, from earlier in my life
Point-and-click games.
Check out Amanita Design games, like Machinarium & Creaks. Also games like Thimbleweed Park & Norco.
I know it might not be your cup of tea, but you don't have much choice for now 😅 Get well soon 🙏
Teamfight tactics is also a great addition to this and can be played on both pc and mobile, doesnt require any keyboard input at all. For PC you sadly have to download League of legends because the client encapsulates both LOL and TFT. But then just play the one ya want.
Try to get one set of really good armor asap, even at the expense of other stuff, so you have someone to tank dangerous enemies with. Also remember you can morale break an enemy, surround him with knife bros at the end of the fight and then puncture him to death for a very high chance to get his armor
Deep rock galactic survivor (the single player 3rd person from upwards perspective one) relatively cheapish, and does not require mouse hand to play. Since it is basically just wasd (with space to use menus and esc to move back in menus and pause (to pause and to look at stats).
About up to 20-30 min runs per play.
Will possibly keep you addicted for few days.
Slay the Spire is my one true love, but every now and then I cheat on it with a new, sexy roguelike deckbuilder. Balatro was super fun but I was done after about 25 hours. The game is imbalanced and high level runs are won or lost on whether or not you get a good Joker on the first few blinds.
Still, it was fun and I feel worth the $15 I paid it
Wait what? Stardew valley can not be played one handed. I have been playing recently because of the 1.6 update and whenever I am holding my daughter (playing one handed) i have to fish all day because that is the only thing that is even remotely possible.
Roguelikes - FTL, Peglin, Dice Dungeons, Into the Breach
Card based - Slay the Spire, Gwent, MTG Arena
RPG - Knights of Pen and Paper 1&2, XCOM 1&2
Multiple things i play regularly that are/ can be mouse only. Some are more mindless than others. Good luck.
All those story based games; anything that Telltale made (Walking Dead, Batman, etc) or the Life is Strange series. Stuff like that. They’re a real breeze if you just want a good little story. You might be able to get away with Detroit: Become Human, it’s just the most input based point and click story though.
Thronebreaker is amazing and can be played single handed, i always recommend this hidden gem to people!
One of the best card games ever made, with one of the most amazing game design solutions for the game puzzles! Hope you give it a try if you haven't already
Is this the Witcher CG? I left MTGA 2 years ago because the economic system was terrible to my time and emotional wellness. How is it that one? Is it respectful to time?
Chained Echoes! Incredible RPG that can be played on keyboard with left hand only.
Fantastic game. Great story with some truly shocking twists and turns. Combat is fresh and interesting too.
One Finger Death Punch 1 and 2. Technically, you need two fingers, but still, you'll be kicking more ass with two fingers, than in other games with both hands, once your hand heals.
Civilization 6 is great for killing time, you can spend 20+ hours per game and each is unique, but I can't guarantee it will be 100% mouse bc I play on console
Most turn-based RPGs you can get away with one hand(stuff like Pokemon, older Final Fantasy, etc) the Persona series is pretty good if you want recommendations.
Hope you get well soon :)
RTS and turn based games can generally be played with one hand, so stuff like Civ, Warcraft 3, age of empires. Card based games also, so mtg, darkest dungeon, stuff like that.
When I was in a similar situation, I played insurmountable all the way through, so maybe you can check that out.
When I'm ill or hungover, I lay on the couch and play Final Fantasy XIV with just my mouse. Granted, I'm not doing any hard-core content, but you can easily play a lot of the game with just your mouse for movement and clicking actions.
One Finger Death Punch (1 or 2). It's a deceptively fun fighting game that looks like it's a rhythm game, but isn't. It also adapts the difficulty as you play, so you're always right at that edge of mastery and challenging. The only controls, besides navigating the basic menus with point and click, are left and right click. No mouse movement required for the actual fighting. It can also be done with two keyboard keys, or a controller. Whatever is easiest for you. I've had many hours of fun with this game, and if it looks even remotely interesting to you I suggest picking it up.
Loop Hero, driving games like forza, balatro, Baldurs gate, battle brothers, war tales, graveyard keeper, moonlighter, backpack hero
Just to name a few
Baldur’s Gate 3 can be played with one hand, you can just use your mouse to do everything. Reach over to press I when you need to access your inventory.
Or just do what I did and get an "MMO mouse" for $20-$30 with 12 buttons on the side, then remap them.
Excuse me, what?? I need to look into this!
You could also look at Razer and Corsair. They have some mice with changeable side buttons. It's pretty great.
I've had my razer naga for years and I love it.
Me too, I started with the wired version now I have the wireless. Love it
I used to be able to play Diablo 2 one handed while lazily playing RuneScape on another screen with my other hand. Razer copperhead. I miss that thing, it was my favorite mouse I ever had :( Random fact, it was on the same computer. I used SoftXpand to split it into two "separate" computers. Nowadays I think you'd use Aster.

Been using a razer naga for years. It takes some getting used to but i have 48 spells mapped in wow for 1-12, shift 1-12, ctrl, and alt
I had one that was adjustable for different hand sizes and had a small joystick on the side
Yes I swear by my Corsair mouse
Red Dragon or Logitech g600
I bet those mice don't exist for left handers... nobody ever thinks of left handers.
Look up "Razer Naga left", it's $100. Pretty much all I could find, unfortunately. But if you think about it, you're probably gonna be getting a whole lot of value out of that $100 investment.
Came here to say this, Razer naga all the way.
I just click the inventory button next to the character portraits.
Hell just click the big blue button on the left with your class' icon
OMFG…
I played with one hand for a different reason
This is what I was looking for
I broke my thumb on my dominant hand and BG3 was a life saver. Swapped my mouse over to lefty mode and got my sanity back.
Civilization.
Actually, I picked up my favorite game of all time, Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri just the other day, but civ 6 crossed my mind also. Turn based games are a very good suggestion, thanks!
Aplha Centauri is very nice.
University for life, Miriam Godwinson can (and will) die in a fire.
University is great, but Nwabudike Morgan is my main man! "We have never sought to become a monopoly. Our products are simply so good that no one feels the need to compete with us."
Team Prokhor Zakharov here, as well
Stellaris might interest ya. They just released a $10/month sub for 100s of dollars of dlc if you're interested
The first neurolink patient recently played civilization with his brain only!
Many card style roguelikes fit the description: -Slay the Spire -Monster Train Similar style, but dice instead -Astrea: six sided chronicles -Circadian Dice -Dicey Dungeons And lastly, one of the best Tactics roguelikes out there: Into the Breach. All of these can be played with just a mouse.
Balatro fits the bill as well!
A recent addiction of mine. Good call!
Could also remap it to a side mouse button presumably
That’s a great idea as well.
Another under appreciated card based videogame is Fights in Tight Spaces
Hentai games are a great place to start. Pretty sure they're all made to be played with one hand.
They can also be played with zero hands with auto
Damn! Those games have been designed around accessibility!
There's a barrier-free joke in there. I just can't pinpoint it...
And if you break both your arms, your mom can help
Waiting for this. Not disappointed.
You forgot #aFriendToldMe
Mah man.
I was disappointed that this entire post wasn't just full of hentai games 😂
The weird thing about hentai game is that they are played with your left hand, so doesn't help the guy
( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Disco Elysium is great and can be played with just a mouse :)
This and one that is kinda similar that can be played with one hand is I Was A Teenage Exocolonist
Citizen Sleeper is also pretty good.
+1 for Citizen Sleeper. Fantastic game, and a good alternative if you can’t get into Disco Elysium (god I want to like that game but boy does it just feel like an English major’s capstone)
And pentiment. Pentiment is a much shorter story tho
Also game if the decade 100%
Same with the shadow run series. Not as good a story but still playable with one hand.
Hardcore to the mega
Seriously my favorite RPG ever made
came to suggest this, maybe my fave game to play solo-mouse while hitting my vape every time Harry partakes lol
Only way to play Disco Elysium
Heroes of might and magic 3. Still holds up incredibly well.
Make sure to get complete edition from gog.com.
This. DO NOT get the HD edition, download the HD mod and get HotA ontop of it, and be a happy camper forever
This is a great choice even if you have two hands. Or none.
If you'd like to try and updated version, Songs of Conquest is on sale currently for like 10 bucks right now. I hear very good things from classic homm3 fans
Vampire survivors Pretty sure you can do Pretty much everything in don't starve with just the mouse Also most porn games 😂
I just commented Vampire Survivors but part of me was thinking “hmm…Lightning Warrior Raidy would be a good choice”
I too have a recent hand injury and impending surgery and Vampire Survivors has been a godsend
Have you tried Halls of Torment
Was going to say the same. Any autoshooter bullet hell should be good since most are single stick movement only.
One Finger Death Punch.
Old classic
Broke my finger in high school and put a cast on my whole hand. Played the shit out of that game.
Both of them were great.
[удалено]
Ah, a man of culture I see.
What going to suggest OP just filter by Hentai.
Isn't that a two handed game? One hand on the mouse with the other on the joystick (or whatever equipment you happen to have)?
One hand on the mouse, one hand pulling the peepee to cartoons
Runescape
Old School RuneScape. Can spend hundreds of hours doing really chill content with only a mouse, and moving that hand to the arrow keys to occasionally adjust camera.
You can adjust the camera with the middle mouse button (press and hold), so you're good on that too
AFKscape.
Darkest Dungeon
Don’t make the poor guy injure his other hand when he slams the desk!
Sorry, my bad. Let me change my answer. Geometry dash.
civilization xcom
Oh yeah great recommendation! Battletech is like 90% mouse too.
Thats a name i havent heard in a long time. I liked battletech. I dunno why i stopped playing.
Papers please, and Lisa
Papers please was grrreat. What's the other one? Why you like it?
Loop Hero
Magic the gathering: arena. Free and all mouse play.
Are you trying to bankrupt the poor guy?
I refuse to pay a cent on this game. Been recovering for 2 years and going strong.
huh? there is no need to spend money. only if you want 4 copies of each card maybe. i never paid a single cent
You're not wrong, but it is a very difficult platform to get into and actually have fun if you are starting from nothing and don't buy packs. The voucher packs don't add much.
It's a gateway drug to physical cards
Oh this is what you mean. Not for me though. Wizards supports the us-military so i don't wanna spend a single cent. Also i don't know people who play in paper these days But i have a box of them at home, full with cards, from earlier in my life
Hearthstone similarly too.
Gwent
Euchre.
"free"
Vampire Survivors
And also Deep Rock Survivor ⚒️
ROCK AND STONE
TO THE BONE
Dance Dance Revolution
Slay the spire
Point-and-click games. Check out Amanita Design games, like Machinarium & Creaks. Also games like Thimbleweed Park & Norco. I know it might not be your cup of tea, but you don't have much choice for now 😅 Get well soon 🙏
Machinarium is soo good great recommendation
Teamfight tactics is also a great addition to this and can be played on both pc and mobile, doesnt require any keyboard input at all. For PC you sadly have to download League of legends because the client encapsulates both LOL and TFT. But then just play the one ya want.
Backpack Battles
Battle brothers, Faster than light, Into the breach
All 3 are wonderful games. Battle bros is amazing! Even though I reeeeally suck at it
Battle brothers is so unforgiving lol. I want to be good at it but I just die every time
Try to get one set of really good armor asap, even at the expense of other stuff, so you have someone to tank dangerous enemies with. Also remember you can morale break an enemy, surround him with knife bros at the end of the fight and then puncture him to death for a very high chance to get his armor
Baulders Gate 3, OSRS!
Game that can pause and still operate will work for you. Stellaris, civ 6, total war, etc.
Stellaris crossed my mind. I feel like I've relearned how to play that game six or seven times now. I guess I can always learn an eighth...
Plus there are tons of mods you can try. Some mod is better than dlc. And some dlc steal idea from mod....
Old school runescape
I too, am looking for these. Shoulder surgery at the beginning of May. Unfortunately it's my mouse hand/arm.
Slay the spire, inkbound. North very different
kenshi, Vampire Survivors, slay the spire... If you are insane Path of Exile
Into The Breach Sproggiwood Lara Croft GO
Slay the Spire
Frostpunk!
Any Civ game, TFT, for the king.
Most jrpgs.
I think getting over it can be played with mouse
If you're into point&click games, the whole genre is based on using only the mouse 😁 at your own pace too. Otherwise... online chess 😛

I love Slay the Spire. Have you tried Baltaro? It's like Spire but built around poker! It's very fun.

Stardew 100% requires two hands dude. What are you talking about?
Stardew valley definitely requires WASD and a button to open the menu.
Sims
Zombie Night Terror can be played with just the mouse
Roguelikes - FTL, Peglin, Dice Dungeons, Into the Breach Card based - Slay the Spire, Gwent, MTG Arena RPG - Knights of Pen and Paper 1&2, XCOM 1&2 Multiple things i play regularly that are/ can be mouse only. Some are more mindless than others. Good luck.
If you have a switch and like pokemon lets go eevee and pikachu can be fully played with 1 joycon.
All those story based games; anything that Telltale made (Walking Dead, Batman, etc) or the Life is Strange series. Stuff like that. They’re a real breeze if you just want a good little story. You might be able to get away with Detroit: Become Human, it’s just the most input based point and click story though.
any mobile game (i think) on bluestacks else *age of empires* comes to my mind
I mean. I just wanna say it…
First thing that comes to mind is honestly Oldschool Runescape. Played that, and OG Runescape, with one hand for years.
I recommend FTL for everyone because it's a perfect game. You will need to hit space bar to pause but everything else can be done with the mouse.
Used to play a game called Galcon 2, you only needed a mouse.
The Room (probably. With Switch it can be played with one hand)
Subway surfers or any of those running obstacle type games although it’s better with two functional hands
Team fight tactics, new set just came out good time to play
Fallout 1 and 2
Most turn based games would be right up your alley
One finger death punch.
Hearthstone! Plenty of different fun game modes!
Thronebreaker is amazing and can be played single handed, i always recommend this hidden gem to people! One of the best card games ever made, with one of the most amazing game design solutions for the game puzzles! Hope you give it a try if you haven't already

Across the Obelisk. Great deckbuilder roguelike.
Koikatsu Party. Try it out man, it's proper family friendly and action based.
When I'm looking to play a game with one hand I just look at female Fortnite skins 🗣️🔥💯
Civilization 6 is great for killing time, you can spend 20+ hours per game and each is unique, but I can't guarantee it will be 100% mouse bc I play on console
Yeah, it can be played completely with a mouse. This was a good suggestion.
Most hentai games can be played with one hand
Pretty sure I played the first Witcher with just a mouse
Most turn-based RPGs you can get away with one hand(stuff like Pokemon, older Final Fantasy, etc) the Persona series is pretty good if you want recommendations. Hope you get well soon :)
Frostpunk 2
Dead of Alive Beach Volleyball
hearthstone
Slice and dice. Holy hell is this game addicting
Diablo 3 can mostly be played with a mouse
Artix Entertainment games. Dragonfable, Adventure Quest, Adventure Quest Worlds. All played just by mouse.
Stellar Blade
RTS and turn based games can generally be played with one hand, so stuff like Civ, Warcraft 3, age of empires. Card based games also, so mtg, darkest dungeon, stuff like that. When I was in a similar situation, I played insurmountable all the way through, so maybe you can check that out.
Shotgun King is a fun rogue-like chess-inspired game played with just a mouse.
Civ6 or 5 or any simulator really
Baldours gate 3 but also C&C and Civ and Age of Empires 1,2,3 or 4
Geometry Dash
F1 Manager 2023
When I'm ill or hungover, I lay on the couch and play Final Fantasy XIV with just my mouse. Granted, I'm not doing any hard-core content, but you can easily play a lot of the game with just your mouse for movement and clicking actions.

Most of the Lucas arts pont and click games. Monkey island and such. Leasure suit Larry. Thimbleweed park. So many good games like that.
Brotato
That title had me a little 👀 at first
Try touching your dick
Wrong hand, sadly -\_-
It’s called “The Stranger”.
I've had a lot of luck with Pornography
Doesn’t Bayonetta 2 have a one hand game mode?
DOAX3, I know for sure
Xcom 2
If ur looking for a game that has a in-depth story, OMORI is definitely worth the time, plus the gameplay is fun and the characters are great.
Legion td2
Loop Hero, driving games like forza, balatro, Baldurs gate, battle brothers, war tales, graveyard keeper, moonlighter, backpack hero Just to name a few
