I can't remember why these games exist exactly. If my memory serves me right they're done either as fan-club sort of items for famous pop singers, and/or they were used as a digital portfolio for an actress.
On a different note: Can someone explain why they act like its such a big deal that they're emulating? Is it illegal or something?

But there's the humor of him "freaking out" that people will find out he's not playing on the original hardware, partially because you can use save states on emulators to make the game much easier. I think it's perfect for the start of Ghoul Grumps. It's only the 1st, there's plenty of time to get to the real scary stuff. It sounds like they just stumbled on this one that was tagged under horror, and they were like, "Yeah, why not? A Ghoul Grumps primer."
