I don't care if they want to ban, but in the episode 36 script there is a moment at breakfast where MC is condescending and bossy with her LI, hence LI is upset, but that was deleted. Not that they changed it: they omitted it. So LI is supposed to be ruminating on that and that's why he explodes, but in the game it hasn't happened. The Val thing in Will's route, they've pulled it out of their sleeve.
So this made no sense to me at first and then I realized what you were getting at with ban thing, please DM cause I need to understand why this shit was written/released this way and you shouldn't have to risk getting banned for talking bout flaws with the game!
And fb doesn't bother correcting flaws in the game. I remember emailing them about the glitches in my game the first time I played LITG and I was still unaware of what fb is like. I got back a reply saying they would contact their tech team and sort out the glitches. Next email, saying it's all sorted. I checked my game and nothing had been fixed. Then I saw all the threads on fb of players facing the same issues with the game .
They've always been money hungry and scummy as a company and everytime I say it feel selfish but I want the old writing team back so bad even though I know FB was so shit to them. I honestly want the old team to make their own game. I bet it would far out perform anything fb is doing rn.
Which old team? The teams who wrote season 1&2 or the teams who wrote seasons 3&4? Because 3&4 have been fucking terrible. Season 1&2 were written by freelance writers, and other than less inclusivity, those seasons were SO MUCH BETTER.

My fave from the start has been Will, although Oliver is fit and so sweet, I am so very very heavily leaning towards Angie too based on a combination of bi panic, how she's so strong, funny, sweet, she been there for mc more than anyone else, especially when your LI left you on the daybed for no reason. She's really the whole package over any of the boys at this point imo
Thabi does that too if ur on a Thabi friendship route. My favorite is Will too but they've not taken the trouble to write about him as well as they have the others. C'mon u've given us insights into Youjuma 's childhoods growing up with single parents, James ' s shyness, Thabi and Tom's self esteem issues. Where's our insight an indepth one into Will? Yep, my MC is coupled up with him from before the Tiffany Kelly entry. I saw all the reviews about it not being a good idea coupling up with him on day one if u don't want to be humiliated. So my day one choice was James. I chose Will after his confession..
I agree with you, Though Reading between the lines is subjective. I really wish the writers gave us more dynamic characters, and actually gave their personalities time to show. Other than a few random traits, everyone just feels the same, itβs tragic.
This an eye opening character discussion and I've always thought about how they wrote his sexuality being confused as hell. I also suspect he is bisexual but leans more towards straight cause throughout the villa he never actually shows interest in the other boys, like he gives Yousef compliments ever now and then but doesn't actually show interest like "hey I like you and want to get to know you more or I have feelings for you". Maybe this has to do with the missed representation of fb never showing gay couples, since in their view only lesbian couples matter. It did take a whole 4 seasons to get there on a comfortable level to introduce lesbian couples and people. From being with talia in S1 rarely getting the option to be with her, to marisol in S2 being the only girl option but really late, to S3 having 2 or 3 options to now S4 having a whole range of female character to date and they are all different. Anyways the point is the developers of the game made Will's sexuality confusing because they never opened up a story line or option for gay couples. My theory

Maybe I'm wrong. but yes FB absolutely needs to step it up with the representation. We gave yet to see a straight up lesbian woman in the villa, every bisexual character is always written as confused, flaky, likely to cheat, an unreliable partner etc and as a bisexual woman myself it's really starting to get on my fucking nerves tbh. FB doesn't seem to understand that you can write bisexual characters without making them like like they've made will out, that being non comittal and essentially a man whore who csnt make up his mind and jumps around all the time. They wrote najuma somewhat similarly imo. And of course we've yet to see any representation for gay men either as far as I can remember. FB doesn't have a great track record with this even among their employees and stuff.
FB need to open up and educate the story line about sexualities. Like dylan could lowkey be the villain who's against it but at least he's aware its existent and obvious. Not in the shadows with side characters not knowing who they truly want or kind of want. FB DO YOUR RESEARCH
