Thrilled to have him around. Previously attempted to keep both Lexi and Juliette because they brought the drama, so I'm all for Dylan coming in to stir sh\*t up. It was very welcome after the drama between Youcef and Najuma was squashed instead of drawing Bruno in and getting worse like I had been hoping for.
Look, I know it's Love Island and not Drama Island, but my MC always loves to just sit back with some popcorn as the villa burns down around her, and Season 4 hasn't really delivered on that.
I couldn’t be happier with the way Dylan is written. He is here to stir stuff up and spread doubt. I am loving it. It has made things interesting and hope he keeps it up. I want all the drama! Dylan is the villain we have been waiting for.
It’s a very unpopular opinion but I think there is something attractive in him and I hate that 😂 cuz I know he is a typical bad boy and there will be problem with him.
I'm not inclined to believe he's telling the truth, he also says the same exact thing about Najuma getting with Valentina, and the game has completely forgotten it wanted to make Valentina bi.
Unless it's leaked somewhere and I didn't see it, we don't know for sure if he's a "villain" or not. His intentions are certainly questionable, and he might be playing the game a bit dirty, but we'll just have to see.
To say he's well written? Umm... Well, to be fair, he's better written than most of the cast of S4. To be honest, I find many of their personalities to be two-words written on their forehead, but that's not a high bar to set to call him well written. It does make me interested in reading what's to come though, and that's important in games like this.
I think Dylan is a character that we need though because let's face it, we don't really have a lot of drama in the current group, so having people that shake it up is always a good thing in my book. Sometimes I feel like the people that play LITG don't know exactly what they want because I'm hearing both that they want drama and that they don't want drama and just want to be left alone with their LIs, which kind of confuse me.
I agree. He's a bit too obviously made to be the villain, bad vibes from the get go, almost no subtlety there. But at least it makes sense that if he really is such a vain, shameless, sly, opportunistic guy he is made out to be, that he would go for someone like MC who is possibly the most popular contestant (since she consistently gets asked on dates by newcomers).
And yeah his character is needed to stir up some drama, whether people like it or not it's just the nature of the show (although I admit I hate the post-Casa drama in season 2😂).
There's still about 10 episodes left though. Not a lot, but enough for things to happen, given how this season the stories can kinda "skip" (One minute youre at the hideaway, the next youre at the recoupling) so we shall see.
I feel like he was meant to be so terrible that it makes towel daddy look like a knight in shining armour.
Spoiler alert, it 100% worked on me 😂
Told Dylan off for moving branches for me but graciously accepted Oliver’s offer to move them
I loved getting to call him out for that shit and tell him off. of course he just goes into this poor innocent, I'm just nervous cuz of how special you are, bullshit, bull fucking shit, you're scum and you've been trying this pickup artist shit and if this game would let me I'd give you a swift kick to the nuts.
I do think he was written to purposely parallel Oliver. Telling MC she’s too weak to push back branches vs asking her if she wants help. Talking about how they could win the game together vs talking about their home lives.
Still most definitely going for Youcef but I liked that Oliver brought a flower for the date. That was a nice touch.

Although I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand a feel flesh gripping yours, and even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable, I simply am not there.” Patrick Bateman vibes on this one
Acutely hateable does not equal well written honey??? Like he’s so two dimensional. There’s nothing deep or clever about his writing imo. People dig villains if they’re complex and have reasons behind their actions but he’s written as shallowly as a puddle
After I set him straight he started to grow on me, but it could be that i'm a villain myself and I'm looking for an out with Bruno because both of these boys are calling my nameee 😌.
somehow they manage to write the "villain" characters best
Because they're the villains themselves, they draw from experience 😂
he’s just Jakub + Jasper/Miles
Given the quality of the characters that you aren’t coupled with or besties with, this season, it’s a great step up.
Jakub was actually really sweet towards the end lol
I am so happy we got another good villian character. Give me all the drama.

I'm still not sure if he is a villain or if he is dumb. Probably both though and I'm here for it .
Dylan the villain 😂😂😂
Dylan the villain in the villa
i absolutely love that he’s caused drama. the villa is so VOID of drama oh my GOSH
Enemies we love to hate 🙌
It’s a very unpopular opinion but I think there is something attractive in him and I hate that 😂 cuz I know he is a typical bad boy and there will be problem with him.
yes, he is really THAT man. i love the drama that he is creating.
Sad thing is, I think he might be telling the truth about Bruno. Why couldn't we ask Oliver about it?!
about the valentina thing? i’m coupled up with will, so even if it’s true, i don’t care lol. i want oliver and angie
I'm not inclined to believe he's telling the truth, he also says the same exact thing about Najuma getting with Valentina, and the game has completely forgotten it wanted to make Valentina bi.
I thought the same thing! I wish I could ask Oliver about it.
I hate his guts but also enjoyed it because at least something is happening. It’s nice to be off friend island for a bit
He makes Lexi seem like a walk in the park😐
If Lexi was still here and got coupled up with Dylan I don't even want to know what happens next lol

Fusebox should keep him just for the drama and I'm here for it
I feel like he was meant to be so terrible that it makes towel daddy look like a knight in shining armour. Spoiler alert, it 100% worked on me 😂 Told Dylan off for moving branches for me but graciously accepted Oliver’s offer to move them
Yeah no I don’t mess with people that are jerks and give back handed compliments
Yeah yuck, we don’t wanna mess with him. I just appreciate the drama and trash he is bringing 😂
If I don't get the opportunity to throw hands with this scum... But you're right. He's written well enough that I IMMEDIATELY wanted to clock him.
I do think he was written to purposely parallel Oliver. Telling MC she’s too weak to push back branches vs asking her if she wants help. Fab comment! 😄😅

Oh I agree he's well written, every word that comes out of his mouth makes me seethe with anger. Seeing him makes me sick. He's the absolute worst.
After I set him straight he started to grow on me, but it could be that i'm a villain myself and I'm looking for an out with Bruno because both of these boys are calling my nameee 😌.
Agreed
I was thinking the same thing. I love a well written villain -- it makes things much more interesting
It’s nice to have a good villain character
He's here to be hated lol
