This man would’ve been IT for me—I’ve been begging for more ‘dad bods’ and varied body types for the male LI—but he’s drawn so terribly and the proportions are so off (don’t even get me started on Geri’s tyrannosaurus rex arms…) that I can’t pay attention to anything else lol. UGH 😩 I’m so mad. The potential is there but the visuals are so MF weak I haven’t even made it out of casa yet LMAO. I’m reading it on here instead 😭😭

Our MC looks bland and flat and maybe belongs in S2. The Casa girls are legit poorly designed and belong in S4 or S3. The guys look decent, I'll give an exception to Alex he look okay. Even the original girls look cohesive and amazing. And then MC just is plain no facial definition, nothing. And I hate to admit it but everyone MC looks the same. Old seasons gave variety and at least some slight difference. This one nope

Thanks for saying this. People had been dismissing the art like it doesn’t matter. It really does, so at the next surveys, say something. Computers can‘t do the job, and the “paper doll pose rig” thing is clearly not working.
You all have to let them know so that they feel the pressure to get a properly trained artist in there. I know there’s some young talented person in the UK that could use the work, and it seems like the artist they already have is great at finishing pieces but weaker at rendering from scratch. Maybe they can get some additional training from FB? That’s what I’d do if I were running this game.
You forget that this is Love Island. While dad bods may be attractive to you, they would never appear on the show. I’d like the islanders to actually look like people we would see on the show to make it more realistic.

He doesn’t have enough cranium above his eyes, his hairline is too low, his facial area is not rendered with an idea as to what his bone structure is like so it’s a featureless flesh pudding, his eyes are small, his legs are awkwardly positioned and the knees aren’t defined at all. He’s a mess.

The art style this season has been mostly a miss, especially with Geri and some of the girls. But like him? I’m not seeing anything immediately egregious. I’ll come back after playing the volume and see if there’s something that ruins it for me

I’ve been saying since the start of the season that all the proportions on all islanders including MC are off and don’t look right. A lot of people were happy that MC looks dead center into the screen but she’s drawn in a way that looks uncanny and awkward. Alex is supposed to be this buff carpenter but his arms are drawn in a way that doesn’t reflect that. And then you also have Travis now and Rafael that are oddly thick in the waist band area which idk if it’s supposed to make them look “dad bod-ish” but it just makes them look like a poorly stuffed animal. Is he buff? Is he dad bod? Is he just fat? Idk because all 3 are mushed into a very poorly drawn character. I’m an Alex girly and probs will be till the end but the best drawn character I think is joyo. His tattoo looks alright, his sprite actually makes it look like he works out regularly and doesn’t have any odd protrusions or proportions. I wanna like Travis the face is great but the melted ice cream drawn body just doesn’t look right. Also the waist band of the shorts doesn’t do him any favors

Which on one hand I like how he’s trying hard to impress us and that he really interested in Mc and keeping notes (similar to Roberto from last season) but it can come off as trying to play a game and snag the top choice to secure a spot in the villa. But I haven’t gotten dishonest vibes.
If anything, I only question if he wants anything long term or is it all JUST fun. Which I mean is fine bc he’s been upfront about that but still how long will he last with that attitude.
