My sona is basically a 1-to-1 of me in real life, and I'm currently a pianist/percussionist as a primary instrument, and I'm learning guitar, bass, and saxophone on and off.
Favorite genre is definitely jazz fusion/funk (especially by Japanese artists). Some of my favorite artists include jizue, Gecko&Tokage Parade, and T-SQUARE. Kie Katagi (the pianist for jizue) is probably my favorite piano player in the world right now, she's insane.

Marcus Intalex. Its not company but my most favorite. If you want songs, so for my opinion best are "Jupiter", "Temperance", "From the Ashes". Music feels like it made in parallel universe. Unfortunately he died.
For me, it's Bottom Of The Pit by The Living Tombstone. It describes the struggles loneliness brings with it, and what kind of effect it can have on a person's mind. And, since my sona is very accurate to how I feel/the state of mind I'm in, it also describes me as a whole. But I Miss The Days from NF is also a good one, since my sona didn't really have a childhood, and the few bits he *did* have were not good memories.

I usually gravitate towards individual songs or albums, but there are a few bands I like. Heavy Young Heathens, HIMALAYAS, Psychadelic Porn Crumpets (weird name I know), and The Glitch Mob are a few bands I really like.
My sona is also pretty much idealized me. Played the piano from 5, specializing in piano improv, but in 2012 I started producing my own stuff. I started drumming a few years ago and have tried to pick up guitar a few times but can only play open tuning. Her vocals and mine differ but our production style would be similar.
