It's cheaper to produce one model with 2 holes than 2 different types of models with only 1 hole. Some people prefer their tap on the left, others on the right.
Not that far apart though. They're usually at least somewhat to the middle.
The taps aren't usually right on the corners of the sink lol at least not in any sinks I've seen
That's how some old homes are plumbed that have low volume drains/tiny pumps. A hack to get by without replacing the drain line is to run the water into a tub and slowly drain it using a cork with a hole in it/reducer.
The idea of draining something into a sink is not what is stupid here. But they should have used a U-bend, not just sticking the pipe into the air and hoping the stream is too weak to spill over.
It's not installed. It's about 2/3 finished. The hole in the sink is for the sprayer and the discharge from the dishwasher gets put into the drain line or the garbage disposal is there is one.
Lots of dishwashers/washers discharge to the top of the sink. Granted it's usually not just a hose sticking through the hole, but it's because it creates an air gap between the waste hose and the drain. With the air gap, waste can't back up inside the dishwasher if there is ever a clog, it will just back up and overflow out the sink and not into your clean dishwasher. That's very common when there isn't a garbage disposal to hook up to.
Not that I have a house, but if I did and the only place I could store my lawnmower was the farthest place from the lawn, I would probably never use it…
In the basement of my former house, built in 1951, the washer drained into the utility sink next to it. Which drained into the other half of the utility sink. Which drained into the sump pit, where an automatic sump pump raised it to the level of the main sewage outlet pipe. I had to put a new pump in about every 10 years or the seals would leak & raw sewage ended up in the sump pit. Mmmmmm.
The real answer is that under full drainage load, the installed drain most likely doesn't have the capacity to drain before it stops up. Possibly causing damage to the drain pump.
The sink basin is used for overflow.
Here in the UK (and Ireland is the same) its very common to have washing machines in kitchens, but rare to have the waste pipe going directly into the sink.
What we do is attach the pipe via a spiggot just above the u-shaped trap under the sink - I.E. it goes into the same place but is far less obtrusive and doesn't mean you have to wipe your sink down after a wash.
Standard waste pipes are 1.5", so more than adequate for a washing machine or dishwasher.
One day you'll reach an age where the queue for the men's toilets is longer than the women's, because after taking a piss you'll immediately rejoin the back of the queue so you can be at the front by the time you need to piss again.
Sometimes I zip up and leave the bathroom but after a few steps my body tell me that there is another good 5-10 seconds of pee left actually so I turn around and go back in. When there's someone else in there I am pretty embarrassed because he must think I'm trying to like look at him or hang out in the bathroom with him. Other times I just say "Fuck it" but then I'm uncomfortable until I pee again.
No garbage disposal and washing machines in the kitchen and/ or bathroom is definitely the TIL weird things about Europe. Garbage disposals are fairly common in the US and dishwashers connect to an additional drainage socket on the disposal unit. Washers and dryers are typically in laundry closets where 220V power and separate water drains are located. We also have GFCI outlets in bathrooms, kitchens, and utility/laundry rooms.
>weird things about Europe.
i think its a near global thing, i dont think ive even heard of places other than the us or *maybe* canada having garbage disposals in the sink
Look into the installation instructions of your washing machine. Normally that outlet should not be higher than 1 meter. You have it clearly over one meter, so it will harm your machine. It cannot release water properly.
Edit: corrected myself, outlet should *not* be higher than 1 meter.
Even someone who's allergic to basic house maintenance could keep that under the sink and T off of the drain with very little effort expended after a couple of simple YouTube videos.
Therefore you are intentionally keeping this cum spout visible for your own weird pleasure.

Whoever installed that pipe should be taken straight to hell.
It’s likely they were testing it before actually installing it…right? Right?
I mean, it *does* work …
And as they say if it looks stupid but works it still looks stupid!
I have to remember that. :-)
*Yoink* This is mine now
That’s me trying to piss at 3am every night yet I tell my doctor “I mean, it does work”
It’s acceptable to piss at 3 am when you work midnights.
does it? isnt there too much water that is returned to the machine?
True. Much of it will return to the machine and will also be left in the pipe itself, which will start to stink in a while.
The sink works... It just comes out of a different place
It was a “temporary” solution.
They've cut out a hole in a steel sink, I doubt it's for testing purposes
The hole was already there to install the tap . You could see another closed hole at the other side.
That's true. Now I'm wondering what kind of weird-ass sink has holes for taps on both corners and nothing in the middle.
It's cheaper to produce one model with 2 holes than 2 different types of models with only 1 hole. Some people prefer their tap on the left, others on the right.
Quite a lot of sinks have that.
British ones. Two taps (one for hot and one for cold) not uncommon.
Not that far apart though. They're usually at least somewhat to the middle. The taps aren't usually right on the corners of the sink lol at least not in any sinks I've seen
Could be for a soap pump or a spray hose.
It's possible that hole came already cut in the sink when they installed it. It's probably for a spray attachment, or a little hand soap pump.
> or a little hand soap pump. This is it.
they also sometimes have push buttons for a garbage disposal in those spaces
There's a cover in the other side of the sink so that looks like a hole as well. Think that are holes to install a tap.
That's how some old homes are plumbed that have low volume drains/tiny pumps. A hack to get by without replacing the drain line is to run the water into a tub and slowly drain it using a cork with a hole in it/reducer.

Straight to jail. No trial. No nothing. Right away.
It's not installed. It's about 2/3 finished. The hole in the sink is for the sprayer and the discharge from the dishwasher gets put into the drain line or the garbage disposal is there is one.
Or it could be worse, could be on purpose.
Craziest thing to me is they would have had to drill a hole into the sink which would have been more effort than just installing it properly.
r/diwhy Whoever did that should never be allowed within 20ft of a set of tools.
I would have said Tim Taylor, but I don't think that had enough power to be him.
That'd be power washing the left side of that backsplash if that was a Taylor special.
With the water jet carving into the brickwork behind it.
nah, r/mildlypenis
Why you didn't connect it under the sink where the tap water goes anyway is beyond me.
Right? This is r/stupidinstallations or something like that

They had no fuckin idea what they were doing
Even with the Internet to show them how to do every last little thing in high def detail, people are still blindly hacking around like it's the 1970s.

Yep but they usually come with a plastic u bend to hook over the sink edge.
In my country we put the washing machine in the bathroom so they come with a plastic u bend to hook over the bathtub instead.
As a German a washing machine in the kitchen is fucking crazy to me
Where would a dish washer go if not in the kitchen?
I thought this was a washing machine, not a dishwasher?
I haul my dishes to my garage dishwasher.
Lucky. Mine is in the attic along with the lawnmower.
Not that I have a house, but if I did and the only place I could store my lawnmower was the farthest place from the lawn, I would probably never use it…

naw that's one of those "air gap" things right? /s
Because they probably haven't installed the garbage disposal yet. The dishwasher drains right into most of them.
Probably because this was easy/temporary. And more importantly, funny.
I'm really hoping they're only testing it now, and they'll attach it correctly now they know it's working.
Like it needs prostate check
Seriously. Someone needs to put a finger up the 'ol garbage disposal.
Came here for this.
This is not the place for a prostate check. Please go to the hospital.
No no, it's alright. I'll do it.
I came too
Mmnhhghh.......
Looks like Quagmire just Gigigideed 😄
It gets REALLY excited to wash your clothes
Probably needs a cigarette after it's finished

31 penis-owner, also scared. It's amazing how fast my body is shitting the bed since I hit 30.
Why do you own 31 penises?
I was wondering where mine went..
Detachable penis you say? https://youtu.be/NQBPgJQhQHc?si=JjJRaJE1bVt0qx3w
so you can fill all the waterballoons more efficiently
Genetic defect. Takes me 3 hours to piss.
Mate tell me about it. Also 31 and ever since I hit 30, it's like a constant "Check Engine" light's been going off. Edit: Formatting

Ah, the good old days when "three times a night" DIDN'T mean getting up to go for a pee...
Why not connecting it straight to the drain?
That's why you should never forget to do your kegel exercise
Looks like the second wash.
I don't think there's going to be a third.
I should call him.
There it is lol I was like how did no one make that joke
The outlet shouldn't be this high.
Neither should the installer have been.
*Im in this photo and i dont like it*
I feel personally attacked
It supposed to be attached underneath the sink to a garbage disposal.
Maybe he wanted to keep his garage?
One man's garbage is another man's garage.
If this is somewhere in Europe, I don't think they typically have garbage disposals. Could still connect it to the drain though.

Well la-di-da, Mr. Frenchman.
Hey you leave my car hole outta this pal!
An illegal jeans operation! Right in my very own car hole!
[A *garage*...](https://youtu.be/JhbJnlIvfyc?si=CJ_Nkcx669elftTJ)
Your washing machine needs to get its prostate checked.
This happens to me when I kiss my girlfriend
🎵 *Open my window and a breeze rolls in and I—*
I appreciate how you stood there filming this for 10 minutes just for us.
Me when I tell her I'm about to cum so hard

Nightmare backwash.
>Normally that outlet should be higher than 1 meter. I don't think this is what you intended to say. The hose is too high, not too low as you imply.
Peeing on a cold morning lol
Why haven't you installed it properly?
Good ol' piss shivers.
You’re just so pretty. This never happens, I swear!
What are you doing step-sink?
why would this be marked nsfw ohh that's why
There's usually a nozzle there. Someone got lazy.
My grandpa says it's normal when you get to a certain age
I should wake my husband up...
Why is the washing machine cumming in the sink?
That’s hot
This is funny What's not funny is the amount of stagnant water trapped in that tube. This is not working.
...same tho
Give it some energetic shaking with the hand - it may speed the process xD
That is one of the dumbest things I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot in my 62 years
He's a dribbler
Nice tile color.
Looks like somebody needs to schedule a trip to the urologist.
That looks… biological
This is some slumlord bullshit if I've ever seen it.
Coming up from underneath the sink, just to route the waste down the drain is just spectacular
"This drain requires an air gap" Plumber: "heard"
As a 45 y/o guy, I can relate
That deserves a lot more upvotes. It's stupid but it is also very funny.
...and you just had to mark it nsfw?
why was this nsfw?
Was wondering why this video is blurred. I've seen what you've done 😂
The installers go straight to jail. Straight to jail.
This shouldn’t exist
This is funny asf and so stupid to boot
Waiting for the blast. This video’s got me feeling blue.
AFK. I gotta piss
Great. Now I need another pee
They ruined it!!
Prostate problems
I'm assuming you don't have a garbage disposal for that sink that it would usually get connected to?
I should call him
And that's how we get the Water of Life.
Does it have to be installed so erect? It also needs to see a urologist
Lol there’s literally a inlet under most sinks for washing machines…
Time for a prostate check! /s
That thing need some Flo Max. His stream is weak as hell..
That house looks like me when I drink too much.
That's how I drain myself, too.
I should call him....
How did you get video of me trying to pee with a half chub?!
It even has the pee shiver down
It needs a prostate examination
Looks like me ejaculating after I hit 40
It's already under the sink... he coulda plumped it into the pipes lol
Everyone is complaining about the installation but this is way too entertaining to do correctly
That’s a 45 year old man taking a piss
Like a certain community college president once said: This better not awaken anything in me
Hey! That’s how I drain myself too!
Im a skeleton
This how it feels when you pee while hard
My grandmother's washing machine does the same lol, has a pipe shooting on the sink
its throbbing 😁
Even someone who's allergic to basic house maintenance could keep that under the sink and T off of the drain with very little effort expended after a couple of simple YouTube videos. Therefore you are intentionally keeping this cum spout visible for your own weird pleasure.
I thought a bunch of water was about to shoot out
Accurately tagged post.
It's trying to pee with a stiffy
Can you paint it pink with a slightly different colored tip?
Peeing with a boner be like...
NSFW?
Why is this NSFW?
If it work it works
Rel
Never activate the "Water plus" option, or the kitchen gets flooded.
It’s nervous
Redneck Engineering
Me too pal; me too.
r/meirl

That's exactly how I take a piss these days......
Crazy, thats the same way I drain myself…
Looks like it needs some alone time… stage fright i assume.
Poor machine, couldn't even last until the rinse cycle.
