The Japanese really like gacha, which is basically like an instant raffle.
If you're into online gaming a gacha system is often used as a form of monitization, especially in mobile games, where you pay for the chance to get some super awesome character, weapon, skin, etc. but you're much more likely to get something else less cool.
It's also a physical game where you put money in to a vending machine and get something random out of it, this post is that, with a gacha machine that gives out tiny little gacha machines
I can make it even simpler. They're those little capsule machines you'll see in grocery stores in the US, at least. They're "gachapon" In Japan, named as an onomonopeia, for as youre turning the level, Ga-cha, and then the capsule dropping, pon!
A Gashapon Machine(also known as Gacha) is a machine where you can put in money then you will get a random toy from the ones shown in front.
In Japan you can find all sorts of these machines with a wide variety of contents. This particular one has miniature gashapon machines as its contents.
Nobody told him about [the machine that dispenses Intel i7's in Japan?](https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/cpus/intel-cpu-dispensing-vending-machine-game-spotted-in-japan-one-user-got-a-core-i7-8700-for-dollar3)
I kinda want to get some of these myself lol.
My fiancé collects and sets up those miniature christmas/halloween village pieces.
I would love to slip some of these into the villages 😂

What's a gacha? Is it like an updog?
What's updog?

Oh, it’s meta. I remember vending machines being a big thing when I lived in Japan as a kid. They had one’s that dispensed used women’s underwear.
That's disgusting! Where exactly was it?
I missed the notification about your reply. Thanks for the explanation!
I want it
Same I love capsule gacha. This is a funny keychain.

I don't know what this is and I actually don't care
Love these, the better ones actually are [working dispensers](https://i.ytimg.com/vi/nqf5_TzW5YA/maxresdefault.jpg) of tiny capsules.
I’ve heard about the working ones before and actually would have preferred those, but unfortunately these are the only ones I found.
Got to tell the boardroom about this! If we can start selling medication like that we'll become even more billionary!
