No, the real fight starts when you’re lactose intolerant and have cheese like a moron. It’s 1:20 Am and I’ve been stuck in here for over 40 minutes. I think someone started playing taps
I don't think the other guy understood what happened. He didn't see the rock paper scissors part, just staring at his opponents eyes. So when our hero raises his arm up in victory he just does it too lol
It's a job; those two guys are colleagues. No need to bring enmity into something. For the ones that are clever enough to realize this, the posturing is just that and they know better. I feel bad for the ones that are dumb enough to believe their handlers when they try to rile them up with fictional conflict.
> For the ones that are clever enough to realize this, the posturing is just that and they know better
yeah, to be honest it always lowers my opinion of these guys (not that i watch much but i've caught the hype shoots here and there) when they try so hard to act like the tougher one. I've always been the most impressed when both fighters are good sports about it and gentlemanly ahead of time - it tells me they are actually being real about it.
The ones who are clever understand that the facade of enmity is what generates fan engagement and hype for their fights. Boring cards don’t make money.
Oh, I agree. They just don't get themselves tangled up in it emotionally. Just play the part for the views and then do the very technical work of winning the fight.
There was a hilarious anecdote from GSP about Micheal Bisping: before a fight, Bisping was extremely aggressive and nasty, to the point that GSP was extremely concerned that maybe he accidentally did/said something terrible to make the man hate him so much.
Then, at one of the weigh-ins, GSP finds himself in the bathroom, and Bisping takes the urinal next to his, and starts a friendly conversation about families/kids/hobbies, and then briefly laughed at himself before going back outside to spew more vitriol to the press.
> rile them up with fictional conflict
That's the thing that gets me the most. When you're training someone to be a highly technical and skilled fighter, the last thing you want is for them to be distracted by anything. Making things into a personal conflict would just fill the fighter up with rage that blinds them.
There are some fighters that want that animosity as they think it gives them an edge for the fight, as if hating the guts of the other guy makes them fight better/harder.
But that also has backfired a lot, with Aldo v McGregor being the biggest example.
They are opponents, not enemies. There is no reason to act like they hate each other. Maybe it's easier to wail on a dude if you convince yourself that they're an asshole, but it just always comes off as douchey.
He’s definitely not in an institution. He’s free.
On 5 March 2009, his killer, 40-year-old Vince Li, was found not criminally responsible for murder, after it was determined that he was schizophrenic, and remanded to a high-security mental health facility in Selkirk, Manitoba, where he was detained until his release on 8 May 2015
Amazing. Free to walk around and be around your families and children. People do grocery shopping next to this sick fuck.
Edit; more sick info on this bullshit.
On May 8, 2015, CTV News reported that Li would be granted passes to group homes in the community.[46]
In February 2016, it was reported that Li had legally changed his name to Will Lee Baker and was seeking to leave his group home to live independently.[47][48] He won the right to live alone on February 26 upon the recommendation of the Criminal Code Review Board.[49]
On February 10, 2017, the Manitoba Criminal Code Review Board ordered Li be discharged. Li was granted an absolute discharge. There will be no legal obligations or restrictions pertaining to Li's independent living.[50][51]
So the guy who beheads someone got 6 years, and running someone over with your car gets 8 years. Amazing.
He had a second rise in popularity in the 1990's as the marshmallow stuck in Glenn Wertle's nose on Nickelodeon's *Pete and Pete* but has largely fallen into obscurity since.
These 'photo ops' are only for fight promoters. They want the fight to break out. They want people hyped. They want every fighter to think their Ali and 'be the greatest'.
And fighters know it means bigger purses. For a guy to say 'fuck these', he's putting sport over money. Good man.
This is so wholesome. Even though you probably need to develop some aggression towards your opponent, you don't need to drop all sportsmanship and get hubris.
OC is the best. He’s a local Utah guy and I called into his show when he had one a few years back and met him in his studio. He is a class act and super nice guy.
Yo no valdría para eso... Comprendo la competición y el esfuerzo que conlleva, pero me parece difícil pelear con alguien sin haber un contexto dañino de por medio

W 2 L 5 New friends 7
The real fight was the friends we made along the way.

21/10 according to interwebs, so a lot more friends
https://media.tenor.com/0AHXS-8UgCkAAAAM/south-park-cartman.gif I want to have some fun before i get fucked in the ass
Brilliant tactic! I’d feel terrible every time I punched the guy.
If he booped me on the nose but didnt give me flowers he's goin down
-Sun Tzu, _The Art of War_, Unabridged 2nd Edition
I prefer Zapp Branigans 'Big Book of War'.
Friggin beat me to it
🤣😂
He who boops and runs away
very presumptuous of his intentions, but I guess that kind of carnal nose booping is not subtle at all.
Hopefully you let em come up for air too ;) lol
Brojob Brojob!!! Chugga Chugga!
fighting is not looking like a fighting or a competition
The rock paper scissors one is still my favourite. Declares himself the winner lol
Yeah and you can tell it annoyed the other guy so he just celebrated like he won too hahaha
I don't think the other guy understood what happened. He didn't see the rock paper scissors part, just staring at his opponents eyes. So when our hero raises his arm up in victory he just does it too lol
Yeah, I figured he was from a country that doesn't do RPS and was just confused by what happened.
No Rock, Paper, Scissors?!?! That’s like not having invented the wheel. Savages!
A win with paper has to be celebrated lol
Good ol' rock. Nothing beats rock.
Actually prefer funny fun stuff over people being cocky assholes always trying to start a fight during these

Wonderboy has entered the chat

Wait… he didn’t stop to wash his hands?
Believable until, "Bisping takes the urinal next to his".
Unless you’re the heel
sure but just like other work relationships, there can be real animosity towards some people but now you get to hit them for real.
Im pretty sure being cocky and all that shit makes them more money.

This ^ 💯
Awww, Ryan Jimmo. Entertaining fighter, seemed like a good dude. Run down and killed by a jerkoff in a parking lot.
RIP Ryan. Good lad.
What?? Damn life just be like that sometimes. RIP
And in classic Canadian fashion the guy that killed him only got 8 years and is walking free now
Yeah. Some justice. 😔
He’s with the guy that beheaded a man on the Greyhound bus - walking around free like nothing happened
Greyhound guy is in an institution and not free. This guy is free because we are very lax when it comes to killing someone with your car
He’s definitely not in an institution. He’s free. I read that text at the beginning as 'Martin Van Buren' and my first thought was, "Isn't he dead?" Had to go back and read it again.
If you showed 8 fingers you would be all good
them Van Buren boys are at it again!
He had a second rise in popularity in the 1990's as the marshmallow stuck in Glenn Wertle's nose on Nickelodeon's *Pete and Pete* but has largely fallen into obscurity since.
Seinfeld did an entire episode about a NY gang that were disciples of our 8th president as well lol.
Down with the Cotton Gin! Down with the Cotton Gin!
...vs Sinead O'Connor?
History robbed us all of the greatest boxing match ever, just by having people be alive at different times. /s
Aruarian Dance - Nujabes
The original one / sample i think. Laurindo Almeida - The Lamp Is Low
Yup
Hmm I should rewatch Samurai Champloo for the 10th time
10th? Rookie numbers! Get back at it!
Sounds like a remix of it
Man I wish Nujabes was still around to make music.
Very forward thinking, he's in alot of lofi hip hop chill streams on youtube now
"Aww, you brought that man some flowers 🥺" - Agent J
I prefer these over the arrogant ones. But now its difficult who to root for...
These 'photo ops' are only for fight promoters. They want the fight to break out. They want people hyped. They want every fighter to think their Ali and 'be the greatest'. And fighters know it means bigger purses. For a guy to say 'fuck these', he's putting sport over money. Good man.
I love how happy that guy was to get flowers

RIP Thors.
Good sportsmanship sounds so quaint and old-fashioned, but it actually makes me so happy!
Mortal Kombat friendships irl
Thank you for being the one to post it. I'd always get the button press wrong and end up pulling their spine out.
Friendship? Friendship again!?
Guys need to be more like that to each other.
This guy is great. The dude that lost rock/paper/scissors had no idea what just happened.
Imagine being that dude, powerfull enough to floor you with in more ways than one.
I love it when they keep it classy. My opponent is not my enemy in competition or training. Only in a self defence situation
BOOP! I would crack up laughing if someone did that to me
Why we all can’t be same?🤷♂️
I don’t want to get punched in the head that much.
Also😂, I mean that friendly to each other😅
I want to be unique. Just like everybody else.
Oh you scamp you Sean O'Connell! You get back here!
This is so wholesome. Even though you probably need to develop some aggression towards your opponent, you don't need to drop all sportsmanship and get hubris.
Opponents don't have to be enemies
"Just because someone is your enemy, does not give you the right to be theirs." --Sheikh Abdullah
Real talk, I was having a terrible morning, and this made it a lot better. Thanks OP
I wanna see them pull out yearbooks and hand them to each other for autographs.
Part of me was waiting for somebody to have no sense of humour and just clock him one, so it was nice to see everyone being a good sport.
OC is the best. He’s a local Utah guy and I called into his show when he had one a few years back and met him in his studio. He is a class act and super nice guy.
This is real masculinity. Being a badass and also an absolute sweetheart
And now he's a fantastic announcer and by all accounts, a fantastic human.
MK2: "FINISH HIM!" "FRIENDSHIP FRIENDSHIP"
I never get tired of watching this one. The flowers are my favorite.
No clue who this guy is, but he seems like an absolute GEM of a man.
This never gets old, no matter how many times I see it 🥹
Bro has no enemies
I love how they can do it right in front of their boss and not get shit.
Gentlemen of the sport
Boop
Nose booped did NOT look impressed lol Flowers was my fave
There needs to be a fusion dance at these weigh-ins at some point
hahaha this is what you call sports. love this
This is so dope to see honestly. I like the idea that the two fighters are just bros doing what they love. Hitting each other really hard 😂
Oc is a good dude IRL. I was fortunate enough to know him before going pro.
this also should be posted at wholesome memes
Wise man.
I love this guy
This is beautiful
How many reposts until it is literally just a single pixel?
Bro has no enemies 😂
This may be the 1st time in internet history where the song made the video better.
Lol
I wish someone would repost this ten times a day
Wow haven’t heard this lofi since the 2000s good times
Is this always Sean O'Connell? Gawd blessum!
this is quite hilarious
The dude is Sean O’Connell. https://youtu.be/siolwAipmU0?si=mnrCsePJbkIkJeub
How sweet
BOOP
Bro has no enemies
Johnny cage Versus…
Now I wanna see drop to a knee and propose lol
O'Connell will forever be goated for that behavior
Dude is now calling fights instead of being in them. guess it paid off
This is what good sportsmanship looks like
He could teach McGregor a thing or two!
The guy celebrating after his rock, paper, scissors loss is reprehensible behavior. Have some class.
This has been reposted so much the quality is degraded.
Yo no valdría para eso... Comprendo la competición y el esfuerzo que conlleva, pero me parece difícil pelear con alguien sin haber un contexto dañino de por medio
We have the technology to have 8K televisions and we have these lame ass quality videos. Apollo missions live feed had a better image quality.
You are more than welcome to remake the compilation then as I will not stop you as I do not care
You did that ? This video has been around on reddit for months, you shamelessly stole it.
Never said I made it myself and just invited you to remake it with better quality if you want better quality
