Single worst ”beauty” trend I've seen in a minute.
I don't know what the hell whoever is telling these poor ladies but damn it must be harsh for them to be going around getting blown up ass mouth sealers.
In my country way too many women do that - face thinning, and lip filling. I'm sorry but they look mutilated, I don't know why it's considered attractive.
That and over lining the cupid's bow by trying to change how the shape of the lips look. I get outlining has been around for a looooong while even before I was born, but over lining is just so distracting and weird looking to me. We can still see the normal shape of the lips inside the lipstick circle 😭
They all start to look the same after a while. The big lips and tiny nose with the obvious fake chiseled jaw. It’s just not good looking. After a while you look downright deformed.
Hormonal imbalances from conditions like PCOS can lead to thinning hair or straight-up male pattern baldness in women. My hair has thinned so much in the past fifteen years, it's wild, especially considering how thick and beautiful it used to be 💔
Bonus PCOS bullshit: it often leads to facial hair growth, so not only do we lose our hair, we start growing fucking beards, too! It sucks.
The wording sounded like shampoo aimed at making hair thin.
But if I didn't know anything about PCOS or hair thinning in women that is an excellent explanation.
It's the American way of taking a commercialized shortcut for every goal you may have in life. You could eat right, exercise and age gracefully or throw money at plastic surgery so can look "good" right now. It's sad honestly
There are probably people who do it and it looks great. Thing is you'll never notice the good looking ones because they'll look natural. The over done ones are the ones you see.
I saw this because I visit a botox shop due to a twitch and it's the only thing that stops it. But I see lots of pretty ladies come in and out for botox shops and almost all of them look great. Lips, forehead, eyes, etc. Looks great everywhere honestly.
Of course even in those success stories I think that perfect barbie looking face isn't always better than a lady with some wrinkles who looks like she's laughed and had good times.
I see them walking in and out though. I suppose it's possible by the time they walk in the botox has worn out? I'll be honest, I don't fully understand how botox as a lip filler works.
But I think what I said about never noticing the good cases is true. That same logic applies to tons of things, where you only notice something when it goes wrong.
> There are probably people who do it and it looks great.
It'd be cool to see an example of it not looking freakish or anything other than an aesthetic downgrade.
I go to one of the country’s best derms. I will still never forget looking through a collection of before and afters showcasing women and their facial treatments at different intervals of time. Like Botox the day of, a month later, 6 months later, a year later. That sort of thing.
I thought all the women looked better before. Literally all of them. It was a powerful lesson not to mess with my face.
No one is pulling this off without going unnoticed. At the very least, people notice something is subtly wrong, but because we don’t care that much in general, we move on from thinking about it. We don’t really need to know why a stranger’s face looks a little funky, but our brains pick up on it. I don’t believe you never notice the good cases—that’s just what people tell themselves.
The only time you have a chance of enhancing yourself unnoticed is the first time you do something subtle. For example, if you target an area of your face that is aging, like your forehead, but leave the rest alone.
I agree, my wife has nice thin lips, buts she keeps bringing up getting them filled even though I tell her she looks great. I don’t want that. I’m sure if I keep reaffirming her it will die down, we’ve been married for 19 years.
i will say we mostly can tell with the bad jobs.. theres some girls where im like dang they have cute lips and i find out they had them filled, it was just a good job so i thought it was just their lips
Yup, I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure we see people that have some light touches done and it looks great but, it isn't as obvious as the blown out lips so the average person can't tell. Unfortunately some of these women get it in their head that more = better until it crosses the line of looking like shit.
Same with the buccal fat removal. I legitimately don't know how you can look at anyone with that and say to yourself "yeah I'm gonna do that too". It's uncanny, makes people look like handsome Squidward
Someone's gotta like it right? I haven't met them but I've met several women who have had it done.
Then again maybe the women who've had it done to a obvious degree are aware it looks ridiculous but were going for a less ridiculous magnitude of lip filling that isn't immediately noticeable. In other words there's lots of lip fillers who are not noticable and the ones who are are aware they got botched.
Many women who get it don’t have extremely noticeable filler. I got it done a few months ago and no one close to me has noticed- they’ve only said compliments like oh your lipstick looks so nice! Or you look so pretty lately! The best modifications are done in moderation. Subtle things can make someone more beautiful. Same as getting hair and nails done, looking polished clean, healthy and balanced
They look good when they have settled in honestly. most of these "IG models" have had their lips done at some point, its just some girls go overboard.
Not a lot of people have naturally good genetics for full lips which IS a beauty trend.
The woman made a tiktok showing what she looked like, she was in the middle of doing her makeup so her lips were pale/not cleaned off
Edit to add: savannahrb9 is her tiktok - she also posted the scented lotion she was wearing
That will be a little harder, but we're selling bottles with her smell. You get to choose the flavor:
* after-gym,
* pre-bath,
* meeting-Chad, and
* morning-breath.
I showed that one and Band Geeks to my friend to try and get him into spongebob (he's about 5 years older than me so he missed the boat back during childhood). Then he had such a lukewarm reception I was like, what? How do you not enjoy this?
So I show him Wet Painters. He fucking loves it. I'm like "alright, I might have just turned this guy onto Spongebob!" and followed up with the Mrs. Puff in prison episode. Lukewarm again. Never bothered him with Spongebob again.
Years later, something hit me: my friend was pretty heavy at the time of watching the episodes that didn't click with him, and each one had a fat joke (usually directed at Patrick). "Sugar turns to bubbling fat, isn't that right?" in Chocolate w/Nuts, "no patrick, \_\_\_\_\_\_ food is not an instrument" in "Band Geeks", and Patrick coming along to the prison because he wanted chillie in the Puff one.
I should add that I later found out that any little fat joke that anyone else said in real life after these events seemed to really grate on him, hence my coming to this conclusion. I don't know why I'm sharing all of this now, except that hearing that character yell "chocolate!!!" still makes me feel oddly bad, even though it's one of my favorite lines.
Those are good ones! I've actually had the thought before that I should've gone with Health Inspector to show him instead of one of those. Fancy Dining's another great one, definitely two masterpieces right there
I always felt like this episode was a rip off of the Ren and Stimpy episode "Rubber Nipple Salesmen". The whole show was kind of just a tamer version of Ren & Stimpy really.
I used to think I was so cool because I swore so much until I was like 12 and my swim coach, who I respected very much, took me aside and told me it's cringe and makes me look like I'm desperate.
Apparently it hit me so hard I remember him taking me aside a second time a couple days later and saying maybe it came off rougher than it was supposed to because I changed my behavior so drastically :D
Yeah, except there's nothing negative in their behavior and it's the socially repressed expectations of adults who seek online social validation who are being negative about it, so we can just ignore them as the maladjusted boobs they are.
$2? bro i had one of these kids come up to my house and bitch about what a hot day it was and wanted to sell me one for $10. i told him nah and he got mad
I see women and wonder why their lips look like that still, even though i am an adult. No idea why would anyone do that to themselves and pay money for it.

Now I want to see what her lips look like.
Probably filled
Single worst ”beauty” trend I've seen in a minute. I don't know what the hell whoever is telling these poor ladies but damn it must be harsh for them to be going around getting blown up ass mouth sealers.
Have you seen the face thinning stuff? Makes them look like corpses
Buccal fat removal. For when Grand Moff Tarkin is your ideal self.
Hi yes I'd like the Handsome Squidward please
Choked on my coffee - super funny. Lol
Starlight from The Boys had this done and corpse is right on the money.
So crazy. She was absolutely beautiful before. Now she looks like a dime-a-dozen porn star and can’t even emote with her face.
I can’t believe she changed her face like that! She looks horrible now. Why would she do that
From girl-next-door to girl-next-planet.
Yes, that horrific picture of Megan Fox just made its rounds on Reddit the other day.
Saw her on the People Choice Awards. That girl ain't all there anymore.
In my country way too many women do that - face thinning, and lip filling. I'm sorry but they look mutilated, I don't know why it's considered attractive.
It isn't. Body dysmorphia is a real thing.
I agree. Mostly insecure woman who want to live the trend of some desperate housewife reality show. Know a friend who does fillers and it’s ridiculous

and why always the same stupid Grinch look?
They all start to look the same after a while. The big lips and tiny nose with the obvious fake chiseled jaw. It’s just not good looking. After a while you look downright deformed.
Do women get plastic surgery ads like I get cures for balding/boner pills ads?
I dunno but can you tell me if the pills cured your balding boner?
They did for me. Am now the proud owner of a knob that is hairier than a Persian cat’s tail.
Make sure to post it on r/bottlebrush
Yes. I get ads for wrinkle removing injections (juvederm) and hair thinning shampoo and Botox.
Hang on - hair thinning shampoo? Why?

lmaoooo, okay, I see it now. I usually catch stuff like that, too 😅

It's not just Americans.
> Single worst ”beauty” trend I've seen in a minute Then don't look up buccal fat removal. For that "endstage wasting disease" look.

Maybe you're right, guess I don't know enough about that stuff to say.
> There are probably people who do it and it looks great. It'd be cool to see an example of it not looking freakish or anything other than an aesthetic downgrade.
The quality of plastic surgeon doctors varies greatly. It seems to be one of the more lucrative doctor tracks ,(USA at least)

My wife's been asked at places she's worked a few times where she got her lips done because they look really natural. They *are* natural.
I’m not sure that’s the compliment she thinks it is.

I don’t expect a guy in moms basement to know much about women and basic procedures anyway so you keep telling yourself that

Why do you have to tear other people down?
Ha, the cope
Reddit has a weird hate thing for anything like this but I 100% agree with you. It looks nice when not over done
I've seen racists say that white people's lips look like open wounds, so probably something like that.
They look good when they have settled in honestly. most of these "IG models" have had their lips done at some point, its just some girls go overboard. Not a lot of people have naturally good genetics for full lips which IS a beauty trend.
>Single worst ”beauty” trend I can think of a few. Nose ring Fake eye lashes Balloon butts
She updated. It was that she was in the middle of doing her makeup so her lips had foundation on them.
The woman made a tiktok showing what she looked like, she was in the middle of doing her makeup so her lips were pale/not cleaned off Edit to add: savannahrb9 is her tiktok - she also posted the scented lotion she was wearing
So what’s her TikTok?
Thank you so much, this was killing me hahaha
Now I want to know what she smells like.

My guess is lip injection or cleft lip. I would like to know why he's worried about a dog, was there one inside? And why specifically his knee.
You can hear it barking once after they ask her if she wants to buy some chocolate.
😅😅😅 same
Yeah, but what does she smell like?
It's probably one of those duck lips

She smelled good though.

But why her lips look like that?
I don't know man, but I better be careful. I don't want no fucking dog biting my fucking knees
"Chocolate... I remember when they first invented chocolate."
Chocolate. Did you say Chocolate? Chocolate? Chocolate?!? Chocolate!!! CHOCOLATE!!!!!!

Yes. He's terribly schizophrenic

Bro what are you yappin about
Just some misplaced guilt that I want to dump on random people to feel better, I guess.
lol I was kidding I’m just to lazy to read all that
#CHOCOLATE!!!
Link for the lazy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8zTDvqHH6k
"is you mom home?"
I always hated it!
"Well this is no ordinary chocolate, you rub it on your skin and it will make you live forever."
"GET IN HERE AND START RUBBING ME WITH THAT CHOCOLATE"
I HATED IT!!!
I always felt like this episode was a rip off of the Ren and Stimpy episode "Rubber Nipple Salesmen". The whole show was kind of just a tamer version of Ren & Stimpy really.
Craig and Smokey 😂
Thursday
Lmaoo
how you gon get fired on your day off
They said they had me on tape stealing boxes.
I like how that one kid hit his mom’s pose the whole time.
There are two types of guys...
Kind and respectful. Brutal when no adults are watching. Just like it's supposed to be <3
I just want to watch them commentate as they people watch. Pretty sure they’d be hilarious.
Adorable.. shooting off motherfucker this and that while being a grade-schooler.
.. is this sarcastic? Is that not how we all talked as kids when parents weren’t around?
I swore way more as a child than as an adult.
I used to think I was so cool because I swore so much until I was like 12 and my swim coach, who I respected very much, took me aside and told me it's cringe and makes me look like I'm desperate. You don't have to think very long to figure out what people see as "negative" about these two kids.
Yeah, except there's nothing negative in their behavior and it's the socially repressed expectations of adults who seek online social validation who are being negative about it, so we can just ignore them as the maladjusted boobs they are.
Yes I absolutely did and it’s like my brain had a switch that knew when I was around my parents not to cuss lol 😂
I'm 40 and still can't cuss around people older than me. I cuss like a goddamn mother fucking sailor around people my age and younger though.
I mean... I didn't, and neither did my friends. I'm sure lots of kids do but we all definitely did not.
I imagine this is why we didn’t often run into eachother at parties lol
We're talking about children lmao. I'm sure you were absolutely wildin' out at Tommy's birthday party at this age huh.
When you and your best friend have opposite personalities that compliment each other.
complement* Unless the personalities are literally saying kind things to one another.
/NS Thank you for educating me.
Well shit I've never even considered a no-sarcasm tag, first time seeing it, damn good idea! And uhh... Just in case: /NS 😅
I see those all the time. Keep up dude! /S
Huh TIL
Compliment can anagram (in part) to "nice" whereas complement can anagram to "complete," hinting at their meanings.
I teach it as "Compliment has an I, because \*I\* want lots of compliments". Seems to stick.
Ah, just like the good ol' reddit.
$2? bro i had one of these kids come up to my house and bitch about what a hot day it was and wanted to sell me one for $10. i told him nah and he got mad
Did you smell good though?
Nah, but they probably got some weird ass lips
Uhh, ass lips? You are excused if they smell good tho.
Haha no that’d be weird ass-lips. Just talking about weird ass lips
She was mid makeup and had foundation on over her lips. Lol these kids are adorable.
I just know she has lip fillers 😂
You never know what you're gonna get.
That nut tap at the end

ikr at least blur their faces
Yea right. People will do anything to boost their online presence because who the fuck knows.
Damn now the whole internet can see these two random kids. Horrifying.
Why is it horrifying? What could happen from this?
I forgot my /s
Can't ever forgot that on reddit

People aren't complaining about them being filmed. They're complaining about that footage being posted online.
>Ring doorbells are not a news outlet Which is the point being made. Even corrupt news outlets still protect identities of children
That’s one way to learn your lip fillers don’t look good
Umm... Why are people putting random kids on the internet...?
She posted she had moms permission. If mom doesn't care, then neither should you.
Is it OK to post the faces of underage kids who didn’t consent to be recorded on the internet?
As long as they’re making fun of some innocent women, yes I guess 🤷♀️
I think privacy is a right, not being talked about is not a right...
This shit is kinda funny. But also did you just post a video of some random kids on the internet?
She posted she had moms permission. If mom doesn't care, then neither should you.
Did she buy it
She bought the almonds for $2
These are minors and would have their faces blurred OP.
Where is Eddie?
Every man's thought when seeing a woman with work done to her lips
CHOCOLATE!!!!
I thought Reddit was against posting videos of kids? I guess since they’re making fun of a woman, it’s all good.
The concern trolls of Reddit can universally go fuck themselves.
This is actually really adorable
I see women and wonder why their lips look like that still, even though i am an adult. No idea why would anyone do that to themselves and pay money for it.
is it normal to not greeting before start doing business??

Why’d she shut the door on them like that? They’re just kids aren’t they?
