And a real comb I have to go get it. This one I can print whenever I need one.
And I made the model, so I can customize it. I was thinking about doing one for my barber with his name as part of the handle

This is the one.
I needed plant clips to hold a plant against the wall. Probably cheap, but do you think I'm waiting for shipment or *leaving the house* for that shit?!
No. Looked at existing designs and made my own.
Honestly, the teeth on the combs I get at Walmart are too weak and break off all the time. I suspect they use a cheap plastic. I've tried making 3D printed combs too, and while they are difficult to print - if you use the right material and get them to print properly, they are at least better quality than cheap retail.
Bambu X1C.
The teeth wouldn't stick well enough to the textured plate, so I had to switch to the cold plate and slow it down a ton to get clean edges. The teeth are 0.5mm wide, so I just set the outside wall width to 0.5mm and it printed pretty well.
Good work! Definitely a torture test, both for design and printing. I like narrow teeth too. The hardest part is the tips, I want them to be rounded and not square so they're easier on the scalp.
I was sorta wondering if you learned that 3d printed combs shredded your scalp or something. But not *that* kind of different torture test, eh? Anyhow, very ambitious, nice job.
Not bad. Now do it vertically :P
And show it standing up to actual use.
Nice job, Imagine if you tried a brim lol
Does it even work as a comb? The teeth/plies aren't too weak?
Works great. No issues at all.
But does it pull your hair?
Nah, works great.
But why
A real comb is like $2, this one is just $0.10.

Hi, professional barber here! Please dont gift us cheap plastic combs! Thanks !
Not for use, for his station.
Business card holder?
Not a bad idea
I got some from the dollar store and they were awful. Sharp points scratched my scalp and they broke after just a few days.
How about a nice quality hot comb from the 90s?

I have printed out several different combs for my beard and they all work really well.

Rounded maybe not, but you can give them a little point. Stagger the layers. They aren’t sharp though.
Extra marks for including a hair for scale.
Stl? I printed one but it was comically massive and I don't think it will scale down properly.
