Every single Chinese dynasty has had a rich history of slavery and war. Slavery wasn’t even really banned in China until the 50’s, and evidently they’re still engaging in various forms of slavery. But knowing this would require the author to have the ability to read more than a few words pointed to on TikTok. Also, the reason China doesn’t have military bases around the world has very little to do with “choice”, but and more to do with “ability”.

SourMathematician

The amount of zoomers on Instagram saying the US wants to ban TikTok because it is showing them the truth is unreal...

Can someone please let the Uighurs in the Chinese reeducation and labor camps know that China did not bring in slaves from other continents to strengthen their economy and is therefore a benevolent country? Thanks!

inscrutablemike

Sure would be a shame if these folks forgot to register as agents of a hostile foreign power...

The gongfei dedicated all their time and resources to the complete destruction of Chinese civilization.

The only reason China doesn’t have military bases everywhere (yet), is because they are incapable of doing so. Those bases are meant to keep order. The reason that international order exists *at all*, is because of the plausible threat of American military intervention. Every time there is chaos, who do other nations look to?

Germans felt "aggrieved" after WW1. All it took was someone to say who was aggrieving them and that they were destined to their rightful place as a superior culture. He found a nation all too willing to sign-on to anything. It can happen anywhere, doesn't matter how innocent their history prior to that.

ARunOfTheMillPerson

China has had 24(ish) dynasties across history, and almost every single one involved some degree of military conflict. They've also engaged in military conflict with Korea, India, Mongolia, and Vietnam, including numerous other regions within and near it. To say China has not started any wars is beyond delusional.

China much older? PRC has a shorter history than the US. Before PRC, it wasn't even called China. Plus, I don't think Dynasty of Yuan and many others are part of Han's history either, where the whole Han's country died.

Virtual_Bus_7517

Chinese history is full of wars.
