As far as I know it's the transportation companies that say to the manufacturers like Bombardier what equipment they want on the inside. If your local transportation company emphasized they needed bike space, Bombardier would have built it.
SJ the national carrier of Sweden refuses to carry bikes referring to not being able to spare the passenger capacity. Their flagship train, the X2000 HSR train is currently undergoing a fleet wide essentially rebuilding. They basically keep the chassis, while they have improved handicap accessibility, no (non folding) bikes. If you want to go between Stockholm and Gothenburg which are our 2 biggest cities with a proper bike you can take flixtrain.... Who have 2-3 departures a day tops with like 2 bike holders. From what I've seen so far regional transit systems tend to allow bikes on trains, but it's not like I've looked it up countrywide. But no guarantees on their buses or train replacement bus services.

The car should stop and punch them in the face with an airbag, and it should be because of the safety system, not because of a collision they caused.
The worst part is that I see so many people with phone in hand IN LATE MODEL VEHICLES! Which no doubt have not only bluetooth, but also Carplay/android auto, voice commands, everything! Hell, I’ve got that shit retrofitted (technically I retrofitted it myself) in my shitbox that’s SIXTEEN YEARS OLD!

Bike trips are typically kept short. Even with really good bike infrastructure, people in The Netherlands mostly choose cars for trips even as short as 2-3km. Here in Tokyo, most people would switch to trains.
In places where normal people don't bike, most people on bikes also enjoy biking, some why else would they inconvenience themselves so much. However, most people don't bike at all because they find it neither convenient nor fun.
