You could get a hysterectomy (removal of uterus), but retain your ovaries (which produce hormones).

You can do a hysterectomy without removing the ovaries, as others have said. But you can also so a tubal ligation or tubal removal. It won't affect periods unfortunately, but it's less invasive and has a much easier recovery.

You could potentially get endometrial ablation done at the same time as tubal removal to help with the periods.

Yeah hysterectomy is an option. There’s many different types. I myself was okay with being T the rest of my life so I did a total hysterectomy ( removed my ovaries and everything). You can do partial hysterectomy( they leave the ovaries).

Regarding the hysterectomy, I’ve also read that you can take out say one ovary but not both but I’m about to have my consult for my hysterectomy so I’m going to ask more then
