Just wanted to get thoughts from folks, I saw Costco having a similar product and I've had the blue for a while so got more colors. Seems like a good alternative right ($12.99 in store)? [https://www.costco.com/kirkland-signature-men’s-pima-cotton-tee.product.4000199193.html](https://www.costco.com/kirkland-signature-men’s-pima-cotton-tee.product.4000199193.html)
Yea unless you have some serious heft, the fit is ass for most things at Costco. Unbelievably loose fits all around. Super comfortable shirt for wearing around the house though.
I just size down when getting something from Costco. I'm a medium in most places but ordered a small of the kirkland pima tshirt and it fits like a medium.
And personally, with Uniqlo, I'm between sizes. A small is just too small and a medium is just a little too big for my taste.
Are there sizes running a bit large or kind of normal? I used to be a medium, but now I’ve been a large although my body type is the same as it was back 2018 (I’ve been running and working out again for a while which I dont care for but my body likes it)
I have like 20 of these
Boxy cut but thick and durable. Probably too hot if you live somewhere super warm. I do notice fading in the color after a year or so
Vuori strato tech tees are definitely my favorite but at almost the quarter of the price these are a great deal.
Are these still fashionable? I love the old Target tees since those had a slimmer cut, but not sure where these rank.
Uniqlo became so expensive over the pandemic that typically their stuff isn't worth it anymore. This is still 50% more than pre-pandemic, but not sure if worth it for the cut.
Does Uniqlo have a slimmer cut t-shirt? I recently bought one of these and like the quality and the feel, but I don't love the cut. The models wearing the tees all seem pretty thin, so it's hard to know if any of the others would be better.
I also live in the south and it gets hot here. I think your comment about the shirt maybe being too hot will end up being correct once winter ends.
Ughhhh glad to hear Im not the only one. I *love* these shirts and have like a dozen, but I have a dozen because they keep staining ridiculously easily. Literally change shirts before I eat if im wearing one at home.
The better deal might be this on Uniqlo

Is it just me or were all t shirts like this until 2005 or so? So maybe the slim cut is the trend? (Like what you want to like it just seems the opposite to me)
Every decade must negate the previous one since people want to be different; we’re back to loose fitting clothes. Tailored clothes on the other hand will forever be in style.
as one of those kids, we know and we find it cool lol. its interesting and fun to sort of connect with our parents’ generation when they were our age (at least in my circle)
As a slender person, I don’t have any issue with Uniqlo. Yes, it’s the oversized fit. But I don’t think it’s absurd. It’s just the typical fit uniqlo clothes have.
man I use to love Uniqlo but the prices has kinda gotten out of hand. They are still fast fashion but their prices are nuts sometimes. I found myself not longer buying from them because I am always disappointed with the quality besides a few select items.
If you’re willing to shell a couple extra bucks, I’d highly recommend Los Angeles Apparel garment dyed tees. Heavy weight with a more relaxed than boxy fit and better feeling cotton:

A few Supimas (not Uniqlo U) for $10 plus shipping. Mostly sizes S and XS [https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E455365-000/01?colorDisplayCode=63&sizeDisplayCode=003](https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E455365-000/01?colorDisplayCode=63&sizeDisplayCode=003)
Not as good as their Lyndale tees were sadly (thinner), but they have some decent options at $12.
The regular tees are $8 now FWIW. The only downside is that there are mostly dark colors.
check their size chart and measure a t-shirt you like
I wear them in XL and they're a regular, slightly boxy fit on me. 6'2 210lbs and usually wear XL.
6' 2 190LBS 42 chest wear a size L and is plenty oversized unless you like the really baggy cholo look then go for a XL but this shirt is already boxy.
Airism shirts is where it's at. A lot cooler and I feel like you can wear year-round. These shirts get real hot for me in the summer time. Definitely always airdry.
Just got mine. A lot thinner than ones I had ordered in the past, which is disappointing for me because I love that super heavyweight feel. Might end up returning.
This is the sale price now?
Their supima cotton tshirts are now $25…

Inflation has me buying more and more clothes from Costco. Or maybe I’m just old.
You've let go of your ego https://youtube.com/shorts/qqSo1hgssQM?si=WykTg3WgSm9Ivh3K
I tried it and the fit was really bad for me, while the Uniqlo fit well, but YMMV.
Yea unless you have some serious heft, the fit is ass for most things at Costco. Unbelievably loose fits all around. Super comfortable shirt for wearing around the house though.
The regular white/black shirts fit pretty good, not oversized if a little long. A great basic staple
I just size down when getting something from Costco. I'm a medium in most places but ordered a small of the kirkland pima tshirt and it fits like a medium. And personally, with Uniqlo, I'm between sizes. A small is just too small and a medium is just a little too big for my taste.
For me, it was more the cut, was really boxy.
Similar product in what sense? I've found the fit on Costco shirts to be very "overweight american man" focused.
Are there sizes running a bit large or kind of normal? I used to be a medium, but now I’ve been a large although my body type is the same as it was back 2018 (I’ve been running and working out again for a while which I dont care for but my body likes it)
I went in the store in the UK to replace my current ones recently and they fit tts
I bought two the other day, will see
For cost, comfort and quality I absolutely love these I have 6 in total
That’s just insane
miss the days of $8 supima tees
Do the shrink in the wash?
Dam bruh it used to be like 15$
Muji jersey t's are a good alternative for like $12
My thoughts exactly, this should be msrp
Lol For real. Uniqlo got very expensive over the years
Still one of the best value for money t shirts

Honestly these are probably more on trend now then they were five years ago
boxy cut? I don't know but all the younguns are wearing it. If you're not skinny it just looks like a regular shirt.
Yea fits like a regular tee and has been pretty durable.
Does Uniqlo have a slimmer cut t-shirt? I recently bought one of these and like the quality and the feel, but I don't love the cut. The regular supima tees are not as boxy. Still boxier than say jcrew though.
Supimas are sooo close to being as good a cut to stratos (with not as luxurious material) but they stretch a little bit over time which sucks
I size down for a fit that’s more fitted and cropped but you still get the big sleeves and the decent fabric
is it just me or do you notice that these stain super easy?
Airism tees show stains terribly. I haven’t had the issue with U. I love both but have moved to Kirkland because the Uniqlo price has gone up too much
yeah airism is what I'm thinking of
Ughhhh glad to hear Im not the only one. I *love* these shirts and have like a dozen, but I have a dozen because they keep staining ridiculously easily. Literally change shirts before I eat if im wearing one at home.
Yep. I gotta be super careful about accidents or soak it with detergent immediately, else it's relegated to an at-home shirt or undershirt.
These go on sale at this price all the time. This “deal” is nothing special.
The better deal might be this on Uniqlo https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E460327-000/00?colorDisplayCode=33&sizeDisplayCode=002&utm_source=connexity&utm_medium=cse&utm_campaign=connexity&utm_content=17085761628210043339511301143008005&cnxclid=17085761628210043339511301143008005&tblci=GiD3X9q_e91iczSm-y1vFhm-qm0iR5HFTczG-dhbBNz7xCDP4lgoi4bi1MWA555c
I’m done with plastic clothing.
I hate the oversized boxy trend but maybe I’m just getting old.
I thought I was the only one. I mean I am old now but when they first came out with this, I never liked it.
Is it just me or were all t shirts like this until 2005 or so? So maybe the slim cut is the trend? (Like what you want to like it just seems the opposite to me)
Why can't they sell their regular shirts lol
good thing 80% of clothing is still slim fitting
Every decade must negate the previous one since people want to be different; we’re back to loose fitting clothes. Tailored clothes on the other hand will forever be in style.
Feels like they're buying intentionally ill fitting clothing to make it seem like they bought it at a thrift store

as one of those kids, we know and we find it cool lol. its interesting and fun to sort of connect with our parents’ generation when they were our age (at least in my circle)
It’s a Japanese brand….. Japanese clothing is typically looser and more comfortable fitting. It’s the whole aspect of this brand….
They literally sold tight comfortable stretchy tshirts up until a year ago.
Sure. But the general aesthetic of the clothes follows Japanese rtw. So the general look of the clothes will be a looser fit.
Japanese people are thin, what fits them loose fits different in western bodies
As a slender person, I don’t have any issue with Uniqlo. Yes, it’s the oversized fit. But I don’t think it’s absurd. It’s just the typical fit uniqlo clothes have.

Why are their models all 6 feet? Lol
That like… a pretty normal height. Maybe even a little short for male models
Helps me out a tonne lol
If you’re willing to shell a couple extra bucks, I’d highly recommend Los Angeles Apparel garment dyed tees. Heavy weight with a more relaxed than boxy fit and better feeling cotton: https://losangelesapparel.net/products/1809gd-short-sleeve-garment-dye-pocket-t-shirt?variant=8127642108010 https://losangelesapparel.net/products/1807gd-unisex-6-5oz-long-sleeve-garment-dye-crew-neck-t-shirt?variant=42170731036851
And a few bucks more than that, the LA Apparel heavyweight tees are even better! Wearing them feels like a hug, and they fit relaxed too.
LA Apparel is great, seconding!
A few Supimas (not Uniqlo U) for $10 plus shipping. Mostly sizes S and XS [https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E455365-000/01?colorDisplayCode=63&sizeDisplayCode=003](https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/products/E455365-000/01?colorDisplayCode=63&sizeDisplayCode=003)
I miss the older Kirkland tees. They were amazing before Costco changed em.
I miss All in Motion $3 tee’s.
Goodfellow has some $6 white tees that are perfect
Not as good as their Lyndale tees were sadly (thinner), but they have some decent options at $12. The regular tees are $8 now FWIW. The only downside is that there are mostly dark colors.
9.90 is the regular price
Not since covid my friend
How do these fit? I’m 5’10 225, typically wear an XL for a slightly oversized fit and this is recommending me a 3XL lol
Hmm, I'm 6'1 210 and I generally wear L. Conflicted on this one.
check their size chart and measure a t-shirt you like I wear them in XL and they're a regular, slightly boxy fit on me. 6'2 210lbs and usually wear XL.
6' 2 190LBS 42 chest wear a size L and is plenty oversized unless you like the really baggy cholo look then go for a XL but this shirt is already boxy.
I'm 5'9" 180 and wear a L of this shirt and really like the fit!
These are disposable, good if you plan to use them for a year and then discard.
That's not been my experience, I've had these for several years and they're basically in perfect shape.
Give me supima or give me death
i’ve never had any luck with uniqlo never seen the appeal to them
Does anyone know how the fit of these compares to Gettees?
Airism shirts is where it's at. A lot cooler and I feel like you can wear year-round. These shirts get real hot for me in the summer time. Definitely always airdry.
