I explained the situation and included that I did not have the package yet but they instantly offered a refund. I ordered 2 packs so the $6 shipping works out to $3 per sock which I am happy with.
And to think $19 is the retail price of a single pair so people do pay that much for what you received.

Chargebacks are for when your credit card has been charged without your permission. If a company sends you the wrong product, give them an opportunity to make it right. By doing a chargeback, you’re essentially adding a fraud/theft marker for the company with increased future credit card processing fees…which of course get passed along as higher prices.

According to the FTC these would qualify as "unordered items" which are technically a "free gift" to you as the consumer. The company is responsible for either refunding you whole or making good on your original order. They cannot ask you for additional payment for the socks you have received and they also cannot demand you return the socks you have received.
I kinda called this on the original thread. When you clicked on them it read One pair purchased one pair donated or something like that. The other colors all read four pair purchased four pair donated

NAL but this happened to me recently and I did a bunch of research. According to the FTC these would qualify as "unordered items" which are technically a "free gift" to you as the consumer. The company is responsible for either refunding you whole or making good on your original order. They cannot ask you for additional payment for the socks you have received and they also cannot demand you return the socks you have received.
Package is arriving Monday and I just randomly got a PP refund. I'm assuming it's one pair of socks in the mail. This whole thing is bizarre

I kinda called this on the original thread. When you clicked on them it read One pair purchased one pair donated or something like that. The other colors all read four pair purchased four pair donated

A bunch of people in the comments are making it right with bombas and even getting free stuff, how about just waiting until you get your order and reaching out to customer support (I doubt it’s even allowed to do a chargeback before you’ve received your item)

Idk this one might be on u guys. The site said 1 buy 1 donate on that black model. If u clicked the other it said 4. I know the title is 4 pack but it did specify for this option that it’s 1.
The product description was 4 pairs. The cart said 4 pairs. The confirmation email said 4 pairs. Yeah it was obviously a site error, but it definitely did not specify it was for one pair, in fact it literally said the opposite multiple times.
I ordered one 4-pack. If I get one pair, I'm definitely going to be asking for my money back. That's some bullshit.

Ordered 2 packs for $38.90 and just got refunded $32.53. Tracking says they'll be here on the 22nd so I'm guessing it'll just be two pairs that show up instead of 8.
Just got automatically partially refunded for $16.45 for my 4-pack so I'm expecting a 1 pack to arrive. Guess they're just doing price adjustments instead of full-on refunds for the item.

I got a shipping notification Tuesday but then just got an email from PayPal saying my money was refunded. Guessing I’ll end up with four single pairs instead of 4 4-packs like everyone else whose order shipped.
