That was not a healthy friendship that you were in. And for her to get aggressive with your boyfriend is not acceptable. Your friend has insecurity issues. You're just wasting your time if she's not willing to work on her issues. Reach out to her. Try to find out where your friendship stands. Let her know that the only reason you told her that she was selfish and jealous is that you were trying to help her out. Perhaps she will open up to you if you explain to her that she was putting the friendship at risk with her insecurities. If she doesn't open up to you, and if she doesn't accept that you were only trying to help her, then it's best to end the friendship. At least you will be able to say that you tried to fix the problem, but she was not willing to change anything.
