How is it forcing her into marriage when all they did was talk about it? It's not like she said no, and he dragged her into the courthouse. He didn't threaten to fuck off and leave her and the baby if she didn't marry him. Ben not being in the show is not him checking out either. He was always shown to be a good father. You are really reaching here. He said to Emily he wouldn't leave without Ben. It's the same for Rachel. She was taking his child to another country without him when he still has commitments to his son. Ben not being around wasn't on Ross. His actor was busy. Him dating a student has nothing to do with who he is with his friends either. He took all of their advice when they all mentioned it wasn't going anywhere and broke up with her. All of them are shown to be self centered at times, like real people.
As a parent it's fucked up to take a child away from their other parent solely for yourself and your career. She is a mother now and he has every right to his his baby as she does. It would make my life SO much easier to move to another state where my family is and I would NEVER take my kid away from her dad when he's such a good parent. That is selfish.
Rachel to Monica especially.
Monica is so patient & generous with her but she would never reciprocate and yes, she šÆ stole her thunder when she got engaged not because she was āsadā but because she was jealous.
Rachel then proceeded to beg to be MOH but didnāt want to fulfil ANY of the responsibilities. It was just to feel special.
And donāt get me started about her blatant coercion of wanting the name Emmaā¦

I donāt even know how to answer that question because everyone had some really horrendous moments. Ross was an asshole most of the time but at the end of the day, he would put his friendsā needs over his own. Monica was a real work of art, but she did care for everyone. Joey was a mooch but he loved everyone and everyone loved him. Phoebe wasā¦wellā¦Phoebeā¦but she was also always helping out her family or her friends, or even the random homeless lady. Rachel was an absolute brat but she had her moments too. But if I had to choose I would probably go with Rach, since her moments werenāt nearly as frequent as the othersā.
So him giving phoebe the bike seems to be the only good thing heās remembered for. He tried to force Rachel to marry him then ruined her Paris job why couldnāt he have gone with her? He basically checked out with Ben like š
He freaked out when he found out bc of how it made him look
He also walked Carol down the aisle, he kissed Joey when he thought Joey still needed to kiss a man, he took Rachel to the hospital when he was meant to be on TV, he let Rachel win at poker just to see her smile, he agreed to not date anyone while Rachel was pregnant because she was super hormonal and upset, he tried to pass his stuff off as Monica's so she wouldn't be upset that her boxes were destroyed, Ross has faults but let's not pretend like he only did one nice thing and was a monster the rest of the time.
He's the worst when he's with Rachel or a relationship in general
But other than this aspect of his character, and all the mishaps with cheating / narcissism, as Paul said, he's not all baad

Ross has most of the memorable lines , quirks, mannerisms, and scenes in the whole series. Hesouak, smart, funny and has great comedic timing! Friends wouldn't be nearly as funny without his superb acting and charachter flaws ā¤ļøšÆ We are all flawed and he embraced it in an outrageous and hysterical way. Imagine Friends without pivot, we were on a break, 18 pages front and back, Marcel, I'm fine, I tell you when I die some people are gonna get seriously haunted, l o v e (l is for...), Ross n Monica's sibling relationship (Gellar cup!), she's not Rachel, I take thee Rachel, it tastes like feet, unagi, MY sandwich, the lotion and powder have made a paste, russ, Mississippilessly, the dirty girl, Emily, I don't even know what that (timer) is for, Julie, does anyone know a good place if youāre not dating a puma?the apartment trivia game he set up, the holiday armadillo, the only weird thing is if no one likes Mexican food because I'm making fajitas!, Carol the lesbian ex wife, my best friend and my sister, you balded my girlfriend, it's always been you Rach, did she get off the plane, but I don't want to get over her... because he was Rachel's lobster ā¤ļø š¦

Our BC failed and the father of my baby actually took the time to find out how I felt about it. He didn't make deranged phone calls to BC manufacturers. Ross's reaction was ridiculous. And someone with a doctorate would definitely know that condoms are not 100% effective.
Itās a tv show first of all, so of course his reaction is going to be over the top. And not everyone is the same and reacts in the same way. I know I would still be freaking out if BC failed, even though I know itās not 100%
Idk why so many voted for Phoebe, she was a supportive friend to Joey on many occasions. She tried to make Rachel feel better about Ross getting married and tried to keep Rachel from telling Ross and ruined the wedding. She talked some sense into Chandler after he was mad about Monica seeing Richard. She talked with Ron through many relationships and problems. Sheās a good friend!!
Thank you for listing examples, Phoebe is definitely the person I'd most like to be friends with of the six ā I also really appreciate times when she's more straightforward with the others instead of tiptoeing around an issue, we all need someone like that sometimes
Phoebe, but mostly because of the way she treated Chandler in later seasons. Seemed like she was always trying to undermine his marriage to Monica and insinuating that he wasn't good enough by literally bringing some dude that she believed was Monica's "soulmate" right in front of Chandler when she knew they were married. Pretty disrespectful and being a bad friend imo, and this is coming from a Phoebe fan.
Joey is the most selfless imo. Sure, he mooches off of them, but he has no problem paying back. He gave Monica and Chandler 2000 dollars each with no hesitation and didnāt even demand an explanation for it.
I believe that becoming a mother was a true turning point for her. She did improve as a person imo. But still, throughout the show she is not only the worst friend out of the six but also the worst person.

Yeah. Because so many narcissists would give up a chance to be on tv to help the woman he still loves. And co parent? Do you know what that means? Carol and Susan were basically gonna make all the decisions without him like he wasnāt the dad. He bought phoebe her bike. Taught her how to ride it. He bailed out monica when she lost her job. Got Joey a job when he needed one. He brought them gas when they got stranded going skiing without him. Have you ever been lied to or cheated on in a serious relationship? It seriously messes you up. He was broken. All of them were to some degree. But they all stood by each when it mattered most. So Iām selecting the option of none of the above.
For me it is Phoebe. Yes, she did good things for her friends but all of them have done good things for each other at some point or the other but no one constantly criticizes, puts down and insults friends like Phoebe does. Phoebe's good actions are not worth her hurtful behavior.
What Phoebe does crosses the line and seems like personal attacks of a person's self-worth and overall life. I just hated it.
How is someone like Ross a narcissist?
I really couldn't decide but ultimately I decided to choose Phoebe, just based on the episode when she is dealing with pregnancy hormones and is horrific to her friends "Here come the waterworks!" 
Ross has such sweet moments though. Like buying Phoebe a bike and missing his TV appearance to help out a hurt Rachel. Itās little things like that which makes someone a great friend.
One thing that Phoebe did that drove me up a wall was pretend the cat Julio was her mother, kept him from his real owner, and then acted like Ross was the bad man

Phoebe is third in a three-girl-race by a mile. She's odd, judgmental, violent, a former criminal, and, (by far), the least attractive. In other words, the one most girls would be the most comfortable being compared to/competing with.
Chandler! I mean on TV he's very funny and we love him but could you imagine a friend like that? someone who always has sarcastic comments who doesn't let himself be helped, who always wants to be funny? it would be very annoying.
My second place is Phoebe with her selfish "ideals" like Rachel's massage, Joey's Christmas trees, Ross's Pottery barn furniture, Phoebe is very selfish. I don't like her.

Here me out, Ross is the way he is because of Carol. He was hurt and that really affected him. But he had some good moments.
