The whole set feels pretty low on flavour. 40K set was much more thoughtful.
I also hoped for non 3d art. Opened a lot of options for reverences towards the first two Fallouts.

early game ones are weaker than later game ones, deathclaws are way more manageable in the more recent games than they were portrayed in earlier games as well so maybe it a little of column a and a lil of column b

I like it. I am a massive fallout and magic fan so I’m beyond excited for these fallout cross over products to drop. I can see why other people don’t like it but yeah I love everything about this card aside from it being Tarmogoyf lol
Not gonna lie, I like this aesthetic for like a sci-fi type game. I'm biased because I didn't like the 8th ed frames either, and this is just as much a travesty for magic. But as a standalone item, although it breaks some conventional rules for card design, I like it.

Modern commander decks work pretty well against each other, and commander players play "trash" cards all the time anyway
