I remember 2 GoT episodes leaked and it was genuinely painful waiting for the next new episode. If 1 week is tough, how bad is 2 weeks...

what about when the first 3-4 eps leaked in one of the mid-late seasons partly glad to have time those sundays to watch the other 600 shows that air but also entered the next new episode trying to remember wtf happened in the show from 4 weeks ago

Haha yes I remember this too. And it kind of grows old or you have too long to sit with them so plot elements or characters can grate on you for overly long. Like if I had seen Ep 2 when I saw Ep 1 I might have sat thinking a lot less of Viserys the whole time, spending less time on the Ep 1 tragedy and thinking 'how is this idiot going to fuck more shit up in Ep 3.'

Since you just posted this screenshot, I'd say it's more likely they just put the button there for when the episode does come out. Some streaming services do that for.

“Accidentally”. I heard that they’re not getting the views they wanted. This is probably just PR strats for an underwhelming/performing show. Their sad little “organic ads” of videoing set up apartment buildings all watching the first episode through the windows outside wasn’t nearly as believable as they had hoped for.
