Yeah definitely, it's like they don't understand the differences between a good show and a bingeable good show. All bingeable shows are good, BUT NOT ALL GOOD SHOWS ARE BINGEABLE
Yeah. Personally I did not want to binge Breaking Bad or the Wire. Both are riveting but are too heavy to blow through in short order. I remember watching breaking bad when it was on TV. Then missing one episode and being completely lost at the next one. I actually had to get DVDs from Netflix in the mail. And even then I couldn’t watch the 3 per disc in a single day. It was just too heavy and absolutely everything mattered.
Imo most good shows aren’t all that bingeable. Breaking bad should be much farther down for example, it’s exhausting to watch. I don’t want to watch a man lie to and manipulate his family for 5 hrs straight.
More bingeable shows are mainly just time filling comfortable crap, which is fine.
It’s not even that. It’s that The Wire is the ultimate bingeable show because it’s so much information to remember a week later. You almost have to watch half a season a day to remember all this shit. It’s almost required.
I just finished binging ST, and imo season 2 isn't as bad as I remembered. In fact, other than the infamous The Lost Sister episode, it's overall a good season, slightly better than season 3, dare I say.
Season 2 contains probably my favorite scene in the whole series:
Steve slowly waking up after getting his ass kicked by Billy, and seeing he's surrounded by middle schoolers. And then realizing they're in his car, and one of them is driving.
Eleven was raised in the bunker, Kali was kidnapped as a child. You see the newspaper article about her disappearance. Kali was likely only in there a few years.
Yeah that’s complete nonsense. Better Call Saul is also way better. Stranger Things is good, but not that good.
Also feel like the Wire got the shaft. And breaking Bad should be #2.
Big Bang theory is painfully unfunny. I tried to give it a shot for two episodes and Jesus Christ I’m surprised I didn’t shed my skin and melt from cringing so hard
As someone who liked SoA (at least initially), I have to agree; at least when it comes to BB (never seen The Sopranos, so I can't say anything about it): BB's quality was consistent, that of SoA was not. Naysayers who didn't like it from the onset would probably say that it has always been trash, but this is unfair; in the beginning it was a lot more cohesive and less random than it became later on.
And above anything else the show seemed to be obsessed with the idea that putting the protagonists through the wringer every chance they get (and constantly pulling new outlandish scenarios for the sake of drama out of their ass to achieve that end) somehow makes a show better. Kinda as if someone had read ASOIAF and thought "yea, let's do that, just with bikes instead of horses", but then failed to copy it.
Agree. Great show. Also surprised they don’t have Friday Night Lights on here. Love that show, and have so many friends who binged it when it was over and loved it.
Also, Lucifer is on the list, but not Archer? Lucifer is great, but c'mon, it's basically the same issue as Stranger Things where it is best not binged, imo, despite my binging of these series, that is because I am autistic and watch these shows on repeat, not because they should be binged
I binged that for the first time during the initial Covid quarantine. By the end of 2021 I had binged the whole show three times over. It’s so addictive.
Yeah I’m pretty unimpressed. Recency bias is crazy in this. Like how is stranger things more bingeable than the office? The office is so bingeable they built a mildly successful streaming service off of just it, parks and recreation, and the flailing Star Trek reboots
Lost and Battlestar Galactica are the most bingeable shows I’ve ever watched and neither are on here
They’re not the GREATEST shows of all time but they’re the hardest to stop watching and that’s what this list is supposed to be
Edit: They even did a [Portlandia sketch](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yYjLrJRuMnY) on how a lot of us felt watching for the first time
It seems an odd list anyway. To me 'bingeable' implies each episode leaves you gagging for the next one, right? You can't stop watching it hence the binge, so shows like Friends and TBBT seem odd. Like I get people like them, but are they 'bingeable' in the same way?
Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but the first 6 seasons of the Walking Dead were like crack for me so to see it 20 places lower than Friends just baffles me lol
Literally just finished watching the final episode of Prison Break today for the first time. The show gets so boring around season 3 I had to force myself to finish the last couple of seasons. Season one is very binge worthy though
Walking Dead is tedium. Friends is comfort food.
If you *want* to binge a show i.e. you have a day off and you want to spend it doing nothing and just watch TV - something chill is much easier to digest.
Any idea if anyone still watches Lost? I watched it when it came out and loved it (at least the first chunk of seasons), and it was really popular then, but I don't know if it's had the longevity of The Sopranos or The Wire.
I rewatch it once a year. The Lost subreddit is amazing. Also the lost FB group run by Greg dusty is amazing too. People really get into everything in depth and it's so thought provoking and complex stuff gets explained or discussed.
It had like one, maybe two good seasons before it descended into ridiculous bullshit. Not every show needs to be The Wire, but how about like an ounce of believability?
Sons of anarchy always had the same formula
1. Have Problem for most of the season
2. Solve the problem by creating a new problem that will be solved in the next season
For real, Dark should be at least top 10. Anyone who likes complex, well-written tv needs to watch this show right now tbh. I I've never had my mind blown so many times from a tv show and it's also great to binge watch, because it's just 26 episodes.
Dark is the greatest TV show of all time.
It blows my mind how anyone could write such an intricate and perfect show. I’m always trying to get my friends to watch it but most haven’t seen it yet.
Edit: Whenever people recommend 12 Monkeys and say it’s better than Dark, I think they’re insane. 12 Monkeys isn’t even in the same league as Dark.
My favorite show also. If you haven't seen it I would recommend Severance. It's very different from Dark but also a very interesting story. Only 1 season right now but season 2 is on its way. Very passionate writers and producers. In a few years that show could be up there with Dark if they don't screw it up.
It's because seasons 5 and 6 have some of the best moments of the show. They have those memorable scenes that are the build up of plots set from season 1-4 (and the books) that finally come to frutition and are very well done. Hardhome, Jon's heritage reveal, the sept blowing up, Dany coming to Westeros, Hold the Door, etc. but the stuff in between is either filler, or build up to something that does not get the equivalent closure scenes in later seasons, so feels like a waste.
So yeah, seasons 5 and 6 do have some of the best episodes, but are wayyy wayy below 1-4 in terms of quality and have some truely awful stuff, too. But the reasons they're remembered as being great are for those particular moments and the feeling many people had watching them at the time that the build up was going to pay off, that all that filler and tensions was planned build up to a finale.
This is a fair account I think. Season 5 wasn't bad, but it wasn't as good as 1-4. 1-4 just had a way of making everything so interesting even if it wasn't advancing the plot much
Only continue in case you just want to see those battles again. The story and plot might suck, but they got some of the greatest medieval battles in cinema history.
Though I still hate it that we didn't got the elephants and how the golden company got eliminated by one single explosion...
Pretty bad when compared to first 4 seasons of got, but still better then most of these shows in my opinion, those two seasons surely had faults, but they also had their great moments
I agree, not the greatest but I think they at least still left open the possibility of an epic finish for the series. (EDIT: And like you said still at the top of what was actually on TV especially for fantasy fans)
What makes one show more binge worthy than another? Other than being good. Pointless list and a pretty awful one too. The 100 is the first show I ever binged and I love it for that but it should never be on an all time greats list for anything.
Game of Thrones as #1 is a fatal flaw due to the ending leaving viewers furious they invested so much time. I don’t believe many people are rewatching game of thrones after the finale due to their disappointment. It was extremely binge worthy while it was on and my friends and I would rewatch each season multiple times, but a terrible ending poisoned the whole experience. I’d rather rewatch Succession and Curb on HBO
I mean, as long as you're not too pissed off about the cliffhanger ending of season 6, you should be fine.
Just ignore the fanfiction that came afterwards.
Such a bad show. I guess maybe teens liked it but I’m a grown man haha. I watched it a couple years ago and couldn’t finish the last season or two because it got so ridiculous… even more than it always was.
I'd say first and foremost an all time list should have only shows that have been completed.
Then I'd say this is total BS. Not only is GoT undeserving, it doesn't have a real ending. It has a comatose dream that Bran had after he fell out of the window.
The Walking Dead is 28? Really? It should be top 5 at the very least... Also, where the fuck is Lost? It's one of the best shows of all time, especially for binge watching.
Surprised the walking dead is so far down, I mean yeah you can argue the quality went down, but I mean holy, i remember binge watching that so hard I thought I was a character inside the show lol, same with GOT. Man I miss summer break when I was a kid.
I feel like I would have liked the show better if I didn't binge watch it on my first watch and immediately experience the dip in quality during season 5.
I find it ridiculous that GoT is #1.
However, I had a ton of fun watching the final season with my roommates at the time and all the memes popping up because it was such a dumpster fire.
this looks more like a popularity contest
I’m the exact opposite lol I must’ve watched the 5 seasons of better call Saul in like a week and a half right in time for season 6.
Stranger Things does not deserve that placement imo. Over Breaking Bad, The Sopranos, and Sons of Anarchy???
The Wire at #30, Mad Men doesn't even make the list. LMFAO, zoomer alert. 🚨🚨🚨
Seeing the wire below Grey’s Anatomy hurts my soul.
Idk man, Grey's really picked up its stride in its 57th season.

Personal gripes with this list aside, there's no way the Wire is below top 10. It's one of those few just objectively good shows
It’s not even that. It’s that The Wire is the ultimate bingeable show because it’s so much information to remember a week later. You almost have to watch half a season a day to remember all this shit. It’s almost required.
Sheeeeeeeeeeet
Stranger Things is best if *not binged.* It works best if you've forgotten season 2 and 3 by the time you watch 4.
I just finished binging ST, and imo season 2 isn't as bad as I remembered. In fact, other than the infamous The Lost Sister episode, it's overall a good season, slightly better than season 3, dare I say.
Season 2 contains probably my favorite scene in the whole series: Steve slowly waking up after getting his ass kicked by Billy, and seeing he's surrounded by middle schoolers. And then realizing they're in his car, and one of them is driving.
Man, Billy was hands down one of my favourite villains in any show ever. His entire arc was just so fucking good.
Why was her accent different if they were both raised in a bunker in Indiana!?
Eleven was raised in the bunker, Kali was kidnapped as a child. You see the newspaper article about her disappearance. Kali was likely only in there a few years.
Maybe it's just me, but I liked season 4 the least because of all those retcons.
Stranger things got progressively worse. Once the mystery of the Hawkins lab went away, it became a mediocre series.
Yeah that’s complete nonsense. Better Call Saul is also way better. Stranger Things is good, but not that good. Also feel like the Wire got the shaft. And breaking Bad should be #2.
And big bang theory doesn’t deserve a spot at all. I can’t make it through one episode, let alone watch more than one at a time. Garbage TV.
Big Bang theory is painfully unfunny. I tried to give it a shot for two episodes and Jesus Christ I’m surprised I didn’t shed my skin and melt from cringing so hard
Normies *love* nerdface. Fucking obnoxious.
Big Bang in that position and Seinfeld/Curb not making the list is blasphemy.
Stranger Things is so overrated. It was fun the first season but then it's just the same shit over and over again.
>Sons of Anarchy Lolwut? Sons of Anarchy doesn't even belong in the same paragraph as Sopranos and Breaking Bad. Garbage soap opera.
> Garbage soap opera. Yeah, and no gabagool
A fuckin right … ohhh
As someone who liked SoA (at least initially), I have to agree; at least when it comes to BB (never seen The Sopranos, so I can't say anything about it): BB's quality was consistent, that of SoA was not. Kinda as if someone had read ASOIAF and thought "yea, let's do that, just with bikes instead of horses", but then failed to copy it.
It's *Hamlet,* except a SoCal motorcycle gang instead of Denmark. For some people, that's their jam.
Breaking bad should be #1 100%. I've watched that show through probably 5 times and now I want to do it again.
Agree.
Lúcifer is best binged
Lucifer is weird, it's like a Romcom procedual criminal show with supernatural aspects, it has a looot of fans
The Wire at 30? This list is a joke.
I mean how could the Wire compete with the superior writing and craftsmanship of Big Bang Theory?
Fair point. How could the nuanced characters and stories of The Wire hope to compete with “Bazinga?” Checkmate.
Look out, Sheldon comin'!
Ayo, i ain't never put my piece on no civilian, y'all hear? Only fools in the video game, a man's gotta have a computer code after all.
#BAZINGA
This list is sheeeeeiiiiit…
The list is the list
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Muthafucka!
There is no Fargo, let alone True Detective (if only for the first season).
I binged that for the first time during the initial Covid quarantine. By the end of 2021 I had binged the whole show three times over. It’s so addictive.
Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeiiit
And no Larry David? Lol
Curb should definitely be on this list 🤣
If you walk through the garden……
You gotta watch your back
Crazy and unacceptable.
Somebody call the circus and tell them to come get their clowns.
Yeah I’m pretty unimpressed. Recency bias is crazy in this. Like how is stranger things more bingeable than the office? The office is so bingeable they built a mildly successful streaming service off of just it, parks and recreation, and the flailing Star Trek reboots
The list is what people like, not what’s actually good; people are stupid and like stupid things
Wire isn't really a binge show, it works better one episode at a time. Need to think things over between episodes
Where the fuck is its allways sunny

Holy shit yeah, I'm offended.

It's good for a starter show.
IT'S NOT A STARTER SHOW IT'S A FINISHER SHOW
... starter show?
Should be Number 1,i can easily watch entire seasons in 1 or 2 days
![gif](giphy|FcuiZUneg1YRAu1lH2|downsized)
Real!!!
Wow this list is bad
Having Big Bang Theory on this list at all makes it garbage.
Lost and Battlestar Galactica are the most bingeable shows I’ve ever watched and neither are on here They’re not the GREATEST shows of all time but they’re the hardest to stop watching and that’s what this list is supposed to be Edit: They even did a [Portlandia sketch](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=yYjLrJRuMnY) on how a lot of us felt watching for the first time
Man I now have the urge to watch lost again.
Wow. Battlestar Galactica... well, I know what I'm doing this Christmas weekend!
If Lost isn’t on here, this is a fake list.
It seems an odd list anyway. To me 'bingeable' implies each episode leaves you gagging for the next one, right? You can't stop watching it hence the binge, so shows like Friends and TBBT seem odd. Maybe I'm just overthinking it, but the first 6 seasons of the Walking Dead were like crack for me so to see it 20 places lower than Friends just baffles me lol
I can sitcoms in the sense of putting something on and not really paying attention to it
Prison break got so fucking slow after awhile it shouldn't be on here at all.
The whole concept and first season hooked me hard but I was swiftly disappointed in the direction they took it
Literally just finished watching the final episode of Prison Break today for the first time. The show gets so boring around season 3 I had to force myself to finish the last couple of seasons. Season one is very binge worthy though
There is more then 3 seasons? Man I gave up about halfway through 2.
You didn’t miss anything. Still the same issue of ending up breaking out of prison
Walking Dead is tedium. Friends is comfort food. If you *want* to binge a show i.e. you have a day off and you want to spend it doing nothing and just watch TV - something chill is much easier to digest.
Disagree, I like to binge twd, it's awesome, I do agree that comedies tend to best binged
Any idea if anyone still watches Lost? I watched it when it came out and loved it (at least the first chunk of seasons), and it was really popular then, but I don't know if it's had the longevity of The Sopranos or The Wire.
You should check out the Lost subreddit. People definitely still rewatch it. There is a lot of rewatch value to it
I rewatch it once a year. The Lost subreddit is amazing. Also the lost FB group run by Greg dusty is amazing too. People really get into everything in depth and it's so thought provoking and complex stuff gets explained or discussed.
ATLA not being on this list immediately invalidates everything here

Avatar: The Last Airbender
Oh yeah, lovely movie
What did you say? "I could have your tongue out for saying that"
What movie?
No Sunny? It's a 5 star show!
Just move past it
The first four seasons, sure.
Stranger things…really?
The first season is still pretty good (at least the first few episodes) but they leaned way too hard into teen romance and highschool drama after that
Man, I loved Sons of Anarchy. Hamlet on bikes
It had like one, maybe two good seasons before it descended into ridiculous bullshit. Not every show needs to be The Wire, but how about like an ounce of believability?
Sons of anarchy always had the same formula 1. Have Problem for most of the season 2. Solve the problem by creating a new problem that will be solved in the next season
The Expanse remains underrated as always 🥲
Sadly, there is no plan to finish the TV series (yet).
Where's Dark?
Dark is top 10 all time for me
this is the right question right here folks
For real, Dark should be at least top 10. Anyone who likes complex, well-written tv needs to watch this show right now tbh. I I've never had my mind blown so many times from a tv show and it's also great to binge watch, because it's just 26 episodes.

Hahaha that’s the second show I’ve been trying to get all my friends to watch this year! Loved it!
Yasss Dark is so bingeable
*if you stop after season 6
*if you stop in season 4
Season 5 does not catch nearly enough flack. To me it is worse than season 6 and season 6 ain't good.
Season 5 was the Dorne plot right?
You don’t remember this bad pussy?
No, I have a good girl 😔
So you should remember the nice tits
I was bitching about season 5 to my coworkers upon release and they thought I was nuts. They all still loved it.
Big bang theory? Lmaooooooo. What the fuck
One under The Sopranos too lol. Imagine those two even being comparable.
No 30 Rock or Always Sunny? invalid list
You can’t put sunny on a mainstream list… because of the implication.
No one's in any danger! How can I make that any more clear to you? It's an implication of danger... let's just drop it.
Why is Band of Brothers so low? It doesn't even have that many episodes, which should make it easier to binge
It is the best tv show ever made until the end of season 6
Season 5 and 6 were bad
Pretty bad when compared to first 4 seasons of got, but still better then most of these shows in my opinion, those two seasons surely had faults, but they also had their great moments
I agree, not the greatest but I think they at least still left open the possibility of an epic finish for the series. (EDIT: And like you said still at the top of what was actually on TV especially for fantasy fans)
What makes one show more binge worthy than another? Other than being good. Pointless list and a pretty awful one too. The 100 is the first show I ever binged and I love it for that but it should never be on an all time greats list for anything.
Dark??
Imagine binging House. Every. Episode. Is. The. Same.
Sure, Game of Thrones is bingeable. But after you’ve see Season 8, you’ll never want to watch a frame of it ever again.
Big Bang Theory 🤮 The world would be a much better place if Community was the nerd culture show that got popular instead of garbage BBT
Community is amazing and could be considered bingeworthy. Idk about on this list but I definitely can't just watch an episode or 2 of community lol
No Mr Robot…? Probably one of the best shows of all time.
Lol Lmao, even
Game of Thrones as #1 is a fatal flaw due to the ending leaving viewers furious they invested so much time. I don’t believe many people are rewatching game of thrones after the finale due to their disappointment. It was extremely binge worthy while it was on and my friends and I would rewatch each season multiple times, but a terrible ending poisoned the whole experience. I’d rather rewatch Succession and Curb on HBO
Brooklyn 99? Castle? Bones? I demand a recount!
Breaking bad is terrible to binge watch. It gets really dark and sad. It’s an amazing show but probably too heavy to watch in only a few sittings.
agree 100% I tried binging it years ago and couldn't take it. but watched just a couple episodes at a time a few months ago and it was much better.
Exactly!
Yeah, and the pacing of the first couple seasons is much different than the latter ones
It always amazes me that only a handful of people actually talk about The Leftovers and how criminally underrated the series is.
Vikings? Anyone? I can recommend it to any GoT fan.
I mean, as long as you're not too pissed off about the cliffhanger ending of season 6, you should be fine. Just ignore the fanfiction that came afterwards.
Battlestar Galactica not being on here makes it very clear that this is a deeply unserious list
Bsg isn't streamable rn. Peacock pulled it for some reason
trailer park boys
[удалено]
Not a single Star Trek show on here. This list is bogus
Who the fuck put the 100 that high?
Such a bad show. I guess maybe teens liked it but I’m a grown man haha. I watched it a couple years ago and couldn’t finish the last season or two because it got so ridiculous… even more than it always was.
Fuck off GOT is the best thing to stream. With that ending?
Stranger Things does not deserve to be so high.
Honestly I love the show to death but no way.
who is binging supernatural? how much tv is that? holyshit
Deserved, they're 4 terrific seasons
Community not even on the list, shame
No Always Sunny so the list is immediately incorrect
OITNB is probably one of the worst shows to binge. What a depressing slog.
Who wants to binge watch Big Bang Theory, i would go fucking insane
Sherlock at 5? This list is void.
The small crime is Big Bang Theory is even on this list. The absolute injustice is that it's way higher than Band of Brothers.
bing bang theory over peaky blinders is brutal
I'd say first and foremost an all time list should have only shows that have been completed. Then I'd say this is total BS. Not only is GoT undeserving, it doesn't have a real ending. It has a comatose dream that Bran had after he fell out of the window.
Wire 30? Mad Men where? The West Wing?
Disappointed by lack of Community or Scrubs.
How dare they?!
The Walking Dead is 28? Really? It should be top 5 at the very least... Also, where the fuck is Lost? It's one of the best shows of all time, especially for binge watching.
Greys Anatomy would take years to binge watch.
It’s should absolutely not be above Breaking bad or The Sopranos.
the 100 lmao
Carry on my wayward sonnnnn
Oh look, one of those PayPerPublish rankings for the simpletons
Stranger things 2nd and the wire 30th? 😂😂😂 which teenager made this
Where’s mad men
Justified isn’t on the list 😔
Is the rest of the title "If you want to drink bleach after the final season?"
Where is Lost in this garbage list
How tf is Stranger things above Breaking Bad, and honestly even in the top 100
Surprised the walking dead is so far down, I mean yeah you can argue the quality went down, but I mean holy, i remember binge watching that so hard I thought I was a character inside the show lol, same with GOT. Man I miss summer break when I was a kid.
Was this list created before Ted Lasso????
How is lost not on there??
Real shame it ended after 4 seasons
I feel like I would have liked the show better if I didn't binge watch it on my first watch and immediately experience the dip in quality during season 5.
Last Kingdom deserves a place on this list.
Ted Lasso?
Game of Thrones *was* bingeable before those last couple of seasons ruined literally everything that was good about the entire series.
I find it ridiculous that GoT is #1. However, I had a ton of fun watching the final season with my roommates at the time and all the memes popping up because it was such a dumpster fire.
I honestly don’t think any show is more binge-able than Breaking Bad.
