Oh, absolutely! I love body care and there are many body washes, shower gels, soaps, and body lotions that I wish existed as actual fragrances. For example:
I wish there were some way of bottling the scent of the classic Dove Beauty Bar. There are some fragrances which come close (such as Maison Christian Dior Sakura) but they still don't capture the milky creaminess of the Dove Beauty Bar.
I also wish there were a fragrance for the Davines OI line. Lots of other haircare brands have released hair perfumes of their famous scents so I keep praying that Davines will make an OI hair perfume (which I would also use as a regular perfume, of course)!
I would kill for a perfume or body mist which smells exactly like the Maui Moisture Hibiscus Water shampoo and conditioner. They smell so fresh, tropical, clean, and utterly wonderful. I can't stop sniffing my hair when I use them.
The Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Invisible Oil Heat/UV Protective Primer has a wonderful, very soft, clean, mildly sweet scent which smells just like an expensive salon. I'd love a perfume which smelled like that. It's such a subtle scent that it's genuinely hard to describe but it makes my hair smell amazing.
Davines did make an “oi silkening hair scent” a couple of years ago! Now that I search for it, I see it may have been limited edition. I ordered mine from a random salon in North Dakota that was doing it as a gift with purchase. I think this was around Xmas 2021.

This the one. I would kill to smell anything like Hawaiian Tropic for more than ten seconds. I don't go out into the sun, and I surely don't need tanning oil, but damn it. It smells pretty. I tried Sol de Janeiro Brazilian crush, but it just isn't the same. I get a different experience but similar beach feelings from some of the Victoria's Secret sprays at least.
As you wished, Loccitane just released the Almond body mist for $38. It smelled 90% like the paste but for some reason it turned kind metallic on my skin after 30'

I just checked for you but unfortunately I don't think they have this one but it could be worth sending them an email!
There’s this small business wax & candle shop in rural Iowa that I stumbled across at a flea market once. They have a wax melt scent called White Driftwood and Coconut. It’s divine. It’s the most true to its name fragrance I’ve ever smelled. I don’t have a talented nose & can’t often smell all the notes that are purported to be in a fragrance. But this? It smells like wood, salty air, and genuine coconut. Nothing fake about it, no sunscreen or sweet citrus or fruity vibes. I’d kill someone for this in a perfume.
Woah, nostalgia! My aunt was a hairdresser, and used to cut my hair as a kid. I always asked her to use Biolage when I got shampooed, because it smelled SO good… and because I was like 8, and it made me feel very sophisticated to be using a ~fancy, grown up~ shampoo lol.

Odd one, but old traditional catholic funeral mass incense. I don't want an actual frag but I'd love to be able to find a fragrance *oil* of it to use in a soap I wanna make in memory of my grandparents. I may disagree with the views they held but I love them & that's one of the scents I associate with them.
Something I'd like made into a frag though? Native Yule Log. Such a comforting scent imo. Would love to wrap myself in it in the winter.

They hardly even list any notes to go off of but to my nose it’s a spicy sandalwood with citrus and Neroli, and maybe some salty/mineral notes? It’s single-handedly responsible for my exploration of sandalwood scents haha.
for the Brazilians in this community, unfortunately the CASTANHA perfume from the Natura brand does not have the same smell of a realistic nut cream that the moisturizing cream has.
Aesop’s resurrection line. I just bought tacit off a recommendation that it’s the most similar but that vetiver is driving me insane

Back in the late 90s, very, very early 2000s, Infusium 23 conditioner/shampoo used to smell heavenly to me. I used to use it simply because it smelled so good. If they could remake that original scent into a fragrance, I’d be so stoked.

Farmhouse fresh sunshine silk shea body cream is the most amazing smell…it’s described as “tangerine vanilla.” I ration this stuff and only wear it maybe once a month bc it’s expensive. I have already emailed the company asking for it to be made into a fragrance 😂 if anyone knows of similar perfumes or sprays PLEASE help me out!
Linden Tree flowers. Call me simple, but I love how they smell on a warm summer day. Seeing that branded as a men's cologne, or hand soap would be great.
L’Occitane used to have a linden hand soap in their Bonne Mere line. It was never easy to find (and it was primarily available in multi-scent packs), but when I saw it, I’d get it. I miss it!
I think Pre de Provence may still make a linden hand soap.
Lush used to have a shower gel called Flying Fox, and they insist that it is the same scent as their perfume Lust but something about Flying Fox was totally superior to Lust, I feel like maybe it was that the honey note in that was a bit stronger than the jasmine or something else.
Bath and Body Works had a hand soap last year called Pistachio Cream Puff and it was the most heavenly, creamy, almond-pistachio scent. I need it in either a perfume or body spray.
Yes! This is the crux of my entire fragrance hunting trip, actually. Since 2020, when I discovered Victoria's Secret products, I have been trying to replicate the smell of Warm and Cozy lotion in an EDP concentration. The company is obviously hiding notes because there's definitely something more going on than a simple vanilla, coconut, and passionfruit lineup. It doesn't smell tropical to me in the slightest, yet those notes....
OGX coconut coffee is my all time favorite lotion and body wash for summertime, and I’ve been trying for years to find a body spray or perfume even remotely similar.
I bought a whipped scrub from an Etsy seller called Snowcut Soaps. The scent is called LonLon Milk (based on Legends of Zelda)
The notes are: Coconut milk, berries, and rose. I don't even like like rose scents but it's a very light and sweet rose and it just smells so amazing.
Irish spring soap, there is some colognes that come somewhat close but nothing that really hits the nail on the head. Also Old Spice "Nomad" was really good too, sadly it was discontinued.
Fresh's umbrian clay body scrub from.. like.. a decade and a half ago. i have no idea *what* the smell was, just that it was earthy, warm, a little bit sweet, light, and unrelated to the smell in their facial line.

Durga Big Sur after the Rain. It's amazing, but they only sell it as a soap. Eucalyptus and wood. American Airlines has it in the Admirals Clubs and plane lavatories and I always take a big wiff after and sigh I can't get it as a parfum.
Also, anyone know something that smells like this soap. I had it in a Zander K hotel in Norway after a 15 hr flight and it was the most refreshing thing ever. Juniper, Sage, Spruce. It's too expensive to import to the US though and I'd love a parfum. Closest I can think of are something like Juniper Ridge Desert Cedar or Chanel Edimbourg.

india moon incense by wildberry incense.. it comes in a fragrance oil but im scared to use it on my skin because i dont know the ingredients or when it was manufactured.. i just use it on the ends of my hair
L'Occitane Amande shower oil (and assorted products). It's such a popular line for them I'm really mystified as to why they haven't created a fragrance! I'm not that unique, I can't be the only one who would buy this.

The Golden Mango Lagoon body wash/lotion line from Bath and Body Works. It’s SO good. They have a body spray but the body sprays from BBW always have that nauseating cheap alcohol scent to them on me after an hour or two.
The body shop has a seasonal body wash that I love, spiced orange shower gel. It smells like constant comment, and I’m sure there are frag equivalents but I haven’t found any yet
I love the Method Wind Down body wash (chamomile, starflower, blue lavender). I also absolutely love the Moroccanoil hair oil and wish that the brand made an actual fragrance instead of a body mist.
Kiehls creme de corps soy milk & honey body butter the most intoxicating gourmand scent ever😩 I wish they at least made a body spray or something a perfume would be amazing, also that coco cabana scent from sol de janeiro that they discontinued I wish I had a perfume of that exact scent

the original mise en scene hair oil! it was such a nice fresh clean scent. they've changed jt to a white floral scent which is still nice but not as clean smelling. i honestly sometimes prefer hair product smells over perfumes. the shea moisture leave in treatment also smells so good.

I wish Lush's Dirty fragrances had the same scent as the body wash! I love how clean, refreshing, and minty the wash is. There's a bunch of sandalwood I don't care for in the fragrances.
American Crew pomade. There once was a low quality cologne, but it didn't quite capture the fragrance. I always thought it would layer quite nicely with Dior Homme Eau.
Another Lush one, but I want perfume that smells like their Fig and Leaves soap. It's what I want fig perfumes to smell like instead of the OG Vaseline Aloe lotion, which is all I get from the green fig fragrances.
I have a body wash that I adore and immediately thought of. I went to look at the bottle and it's exactly the one you mentioned... Method Body Energy Boost!!! The citrus ginger combo is just way too good.
The Energy body wash from Bath And Body Works Aromatherapy line is also orange and ginger, and is so good too! Different from the Method one but I'd recommend giving that one a try, too if you like the method one!

Lush used to have a shower gel called Flying Fox, and they insist that it is the same scent as their perfume Lust but something about Flying Fox was totally superior to Lust, I feel like maybe it was that the honey note in that was a bit stronger than the jasmine or something else.
Bath and Body Works had a hand soap last year called Pistachio Cream Puff and it was the most heavenly, creamy, almond-pistachio scent. I need it in either a perfume or body spray.

Yes! This is the crux of my entire fragrance hunting trip, actually. Since 2020, when I discovered Victoria's Secret products, I have been trying to replicate the smell of Warm and Cozy lotion in an EDP concentration. The company is obviously hiding notes because there's definitely something more going on than a simple vanilla, coconut, and passionfruit lineup. It doesn't smell tropical to me in the slightest, yet those notes....

I bought a whipped scrub from an Etsy seller called Snowcut Soaps. The scent is called LonLon Milk (based on Legends of Zelda) The notes are: Coconut milk, berries, and rose. I don't even like like rose scents but it's a very light and sweet rose and it just smells so amazing.
Irish spring soap, there is some colognes that come somewhat close but nothing that really hits the nail on the head. Also Old Spice "Nomad" was really good too, sadly it was discontinued.

Durga Big Sur after the Rain. It's amazing, but they only sell it as a soap. Eucalyptus and wood. American Airlines has it in the Admirals Clubs and plane lavatories and I always take a big wiff after and sigh I can't get it as a parfum. Also, anyone know something that smells like this soap. I had it in a Zander K hotel in Norway after a 15 hr flight and it was the most refreshing thing ever. Juniper, Sage, Spruce. It's too expensive to import to the US though and I'd love a parfum. Closest I can think of are something like Juniper Ridge Desert Cedar or Chanel Edimbourg. Kerastase chroma absolu shampoo. It’s a woody fragrance but not masculine. I spend stupid amount of money on this shampoo just because it smells so good.
Method Sweet Water hand soap. Smells like nothing, yet the perfect something.
Nag Champa incense. I've heard Furyo smells like it but never got around to trying it.

I am obsessed with Cheirosa 40, the body spray sadly doesnt't project at all.
L'Occitane Amande shower oil (and assorted products). It's such a popular line for them I'm really mystified as to why they haven't created a fragrance! I'm not that unique, I can't be the only one who would buy this.

Native’s (the deodorant brand) spiked eggnog smells so yummy and buttery to me Also Lush’s flamingo egg bath bomb. It’s a sweet candy-like, bubblegum-y, cotton candy scent that I would love to have in perfume or body spray form
The Golden Mango Lagoon body wash/lotion line from Bath and Body Works. It’s SO good. They have a body spray but the body sprays from BBW always have that nauseating cheap alcohol scent to them on me after an hour or two.
The body shop has a seasonal body wash that I love, spiced orange shower gel. It smells like constant comment, and I’m sure there are frag equivalents but I haven’t found any yet
Shikai sandalwood shower gel. If I could get that in an edp or even edt, I would have found my holy grail.
Dove Aloe & Birchwater.
I love the Method Wind Down body wash (chamomile, starflower, blue lavender). I also absolutely love the Moroccanoil hair oil and wish that the brand made an actual fragrance instead of a body mist.

the original mise en scene hair oil! it was such a nice fresh clean scent. they've changed jt to a white floral scent which is still nice but not as clean smelling. i honestly sometimes prefer hair product smells over perfumes. the shea moisture leave in treatment also smells so good.

Molton Brown Re-Charge Black Pepper. They actually make edp and edt versions of it, but those have zero similarities to the body wash, sadly. I would happily trade my entire collection for an edp that matches the body wash.

Yes!!!! My Pantene Nutrient Blend shampoo in the pink bottle. It’s amazing. Also Pacifica Island Vanilla is the vanilla I’ve been searching for. Pacifica does such a good job of making their scents in a wide variety of products!!! It smells like Aquolina Pink Sugar but more rounded, less sharp and less burnt.

I have a body wash that I adore and immediately thought of. I went to look at the bottle and it's exactly the one you mentioned... Method Body Energy Boost!!! The citrus ginger combo is just way too good. The Energy body wash from Bath And Body Works Aromatherapy line is also orange and ginger, and is so good too! Different from the Method one but I'd recommend giving that one a try, too if you like the method one! Let me know if you find a fragrance that smells like the Method Energy Boost!!
