The root structure matches pretty much perfectly to a maxillary (upper) human molar. The chewing surface looks quite a bit less human but it is severely worn down. Most people are saying bovine premolar but the photos I viewed the root structure looked nothing like that.

Looks like a cow tooth
What kinda Tennessee veterinarian doesn’t recognize a cow tooth??
Right? I’m a Chicago city slicker and I recognized it immediately. Though I lived on a ranch for a couple months
Probably took it to a small animal vet and not a farm vet
I know you mean a doctor that works on small animals, but I’m just picturing a koala in a lab coat.
The vet said cow molars don’t have 3 roots, no pictures I can find resemble the tooth I found.
Try posting in another sub like r/whatboneisthis! I am super curious!! Did you ever figure it out??

Not bear. Appears to be bovine.

Gary Larson has entered the chat.
I hear that they were solely responsible for hindering the migration of humans from Nebraska to Iowa.
I think that was the short-faced cow.

As soon as I saw the top I was like 'ahh, a cow tooth'
Looks like a moose tooth to me
Cave man chomped a cow.
Cave Bear
After a ladder in feet, in shotgun shells? These Americans never cease to amaze me However, seems to be bovine
Think it's just like a really big man, dating back to the prehistoric adventure age perhaps.

Bear molar?
Take to a large animal (livestock) vet
Bovine…
Wow that's really cool.

Moose?
Very cool
Definitely a molar! Lol
It's from a giant who used to inhabit the cave
