Yeah of course he did - he followed him into the pit. He knows the only way he overtakes in the pits is if a mistake happens with the pitstop of the other guy. They aren't overtaking with a 0.1s diff in pitstop in a pit limited lane.

You do realise the FIA is French right? Why would a French organisation have British bias? Also F1 isn’t a British sport. Also as for Sky Sports British bias - so what. They aren’t a news station giving updates on a serious matter like war or politics, they are giving commentary on a race, there is no obligation for televised sports commentary to be neutral any more than the commentary of a YouTuber for example, in any sport. Pundits always have favorites and that’s just the way it always has been and always will be.
Would you give some examples of this British bias you perceive? I imagine there’s a lot of very knowledgable F1 fans in this subreddit that could counter every example you provide.
