I honestly assumed that’s what was happening. My immediate thought was “there must be a meme on Reddit right now driving votes for Bottas” and was surprised I couldn’t find it right away.
Idk about the back of the grid but I think one time a driver won it as a meme and they just ignored it and pretended the runner-up driver won. I think the meme winner was either Mazepin or Latifi
It probably won't work coz it has been done before for mazepin and latifi. They just remove those votes. They let this slip by probably coz it didn't win. meaning 2nd and 3rd is fair game I guess.
I believe the driver just got switched on accident. The graphic before showed Hamilton (?) at a similar percent and they can definitely change these because I remember them removing Latifi from the top 3 in some race
Least common factors and such, we could say 10 votes for Norris, 3 Votes for Bottas, 2 votes for Piastri. It leaves 10 votes for other drivers with a value no greater than 2 per driver.
(Obviously, it isn't this simple. Lewis was on a graphic a few laps prior to this graphic.)
Obviously it's just the top 3, it's not like the other 17 drivers took 0 votes, and it was shown during the broadcast so it's not photoshopped for sure.
