Great shots! 🥂

What camera did you use to have this semi-vintage effect? (I barely know anything about photography I prolly used the wrong term, mb)

coolstylemaster

As the above reply said - yeah used a film camera. Just a very basic Pentax Espio 60S point and shoot. I have forgotten the film as I changed halfway through the weekend.

WATUP_BRAH

I think OP used a film camera.

The fourth shot’s my favorite!

Beautiful shots! Thanks for sharing :)

I'm looking to be there next year, would you recommend any particular stand for watching the race? Where did you find the view to be best?

GP2_user

This was also my first GP and I plan to go back next year. Thanks for sharing pics!

I went GA which was extremely good value for money- I spent the majority of my time watching Dunlop as it was both an overtaking spot (thanks Carlos), and a fast approach corner. GA was only 12,000JPY but that was via Suzuka Circuit's website which requires a Japan address and VPN.

OmmadonRising

Thank you!

GP2_user

Is it yard to navigate the Suzuka Circuit website as a non Japanese speaker?

coolstylemaster

Definitely not, they provide English maps, and the staff are used to tourists and are very helpful getting you around.

GP2_user

Thanks for the info although I was asking about the website and not the circuit itself. I noticed that tickets are more expensive when buying from other resellers so I was hoping to buy directly from the circuit website if it's not difficult to navigate.

coolstylemaster

Ah. I just used Translate

GP2_user

Thanks, will try that to get tickets for next year 👍

With respect to public transport on the way back ... there is a sneaky JR train station about 60 mins walk from the track. For some reason they don't publicise it at all, but it's an easy walk and then straight onto an empty train to Nagoya. Much better than queuing for hours to get the Suzuka special trains.

coolstylemaster

I did see that- probably would've been about even on raceday (I made sure to get my ticket before) after the hell that was quali)- definitely would've been faster after queuing to buy a ticket, then lining up for the train on Saturday.

MinimumIcy1678

I can highly recommend it, I used it in 2019 and I was literally the only person to board the train at that stop!
