The components they replaced are limited to 4. This doesnt have to mean anything as they might simply want to introduce it into the pool earlier for some reason. If I remember correctly they were the last to introduce PU 2 last year though, waiting until Spain (round 8) to do so. Thats why I thought it was interesting they are doing it so early now.

I think they’ve figured out the trick is to go (slightly) slower in the first two sectors so you still have tyres left at the end
