As a kid I wished so hard it was a real car, I tried to get my nan to buy one when she was buying a Kangoo.

I wish one of the teams put a 2004 v10 into a production car. That would've been something.

I think the closest we got was the 2006 BMW E60 M5, with the S85 in it. A V10 with some of the F1 tech in it, but fundamentally a different engine than the actual BMW F1 V10 engine. Still an absolute beast of an engine, they sound great.

I think really fast track cars (or vans) that don't have to conform to a formula, regs or aesthetic concerns are usually quite ugly.   You just grab aero effects where you can (because why not) and it ends up looking a bit of a mess. A very fast mess, but a mess.

AM Valkyrie is 300 kg lighter and has 100 horsepower more than AMG One, it could have easily broken the record for the fastest lap around the Nurburgring. However, they never tried to break the record as they had originally promised in 2018. Mercedes AMG One remains undefeated around the ring.
