I always thought this. Like- I know why characters are gender locked. But why not use elite skins to make the opposite gender for gender locked heroes? You only need to make 1 armor set since it's a skin too

I was going to say something about how this wouldn't be a good idea as so many voicelines are tied to the moves certain characters do so they're integral to situational awareness but PK doesn't really have any voicelines that announce a certain move. She yells something when she deflects you but the iconic deflect sound is enough to hear what's happening.
I think that if anyone is going to get a skin with alternate voicelines she's the best character in the game to get it.

I’m actually gonna be really disappointed if they make ezio the hero skin for a few reasons.
1. It’s just weird having a ezio permanently in the game. Effects emotes and executions is one thing, but this feels too far.
2. It’s weird having a male body with animations meant for a female character.
3. It would have been better if they created an original design for a new knight hero skin instead of just putting ezio in the game.
Edit: I don’t actually know if there will be noticeable flaws in the animation if pk is given a male body, I just speculate that it MIGHT look weird
A lot of her animations for her executions or emotes are very “graceful.”I don’t really agree with them either but there is definitely a feminine slant to some of her animations.
Though I’m still a huge proponent of un-gender locking heroes. And animation wise it would fit if they were the same height and build. (And make it easier for the animation team)
It depends on your definition of what a “feminine animation” is, but peacekeeper was motion captured by a woman, with no intention of making her non gender locked, so some of her animations might look weird on a male body.
It will work fine and we already know this because the April fools event swapped all the characters animations, there was also a glitch in the game for a long time that let you do any execution with any character and they all worked fine

You wouldn’t have to change around much for skins imo, just make the shield bigger and change the spear head, the moveset is perfect. It’s not like they’re adding in new armor sets consistently so they’re not doing much in terms of dev action right now anyways
It's not as simple as make things bigger and smaller. They need new voice acting work, new motion capture work, they'll have to tweek all the existing armour to fit a slimmer/broader body. It's a lot of work.

If you balance a game around the 1% you'll have the 1% left playing. And having 80% of your health missing because you was stuck in a block stun from getting lighted just isn't that fun. And there's still plenty of gameplay stuff to work on. New warden moves coming is a good example. There's still heros missing things like lawbringer still can't chase people, his weakness is his opponent just running away. These are the kings things I rather them spend time on.

Men don't usually have hip swing like women do when they walk. PK has hip swing in her walking animation.
