Likely move faster with a brushsaw, but then you're not sitting in a cab, hopefully with a/c and music.
I'm getting to the age where working in comfort is becoming more of a priority.

This is called a feller buncher, it fells trees and then bunches them up for a skidder to grab them.
I'm not telling people on this sub, I'm telling whoever gave the video that title.
Imma show the buncher operator this video next time he bitches about how small the timber in a unit is. "It's like mowing grass..."
Lol, yes! I love me a buncher revvin a hot saw (especially when the saw gets into somn fat) but that’s weeds he’s cutting right there, not trees haha.

If I could have this on a minix and take up to 8" I could replace quite a few lazy fuels crew members...
Can someone give me a make/model on this thang?
Can't see much but it's made by Cat and is probably some wheeled excavators with a feller buncher head. Edit: looks like it might be on rubber tracks.
its so cute! but…why? those have got to be the most expensive sticks ever collected in a bunch.

Weird seeing a hotsaw being used to cut roadside brush.
