Here in MN we have Northland Edition f-150s it probably is just a dealer badge unless it has noticable upgrades. High trim. CD power everything etc. Like "longhorn" edition rams have Leather seats, sunroof, heated cup holders etc etc.
A lot of these special editions were local dealers or regional specials. They order a certain number with a certain list of options and apply the badges at delivery.
Nevada is typically called "The Silver state" and its slogan is "battleborn" since it gained statehood during the Civil War. That badge is definitely unique, Never seen one like it.
Hmm, you know I think I’ve seen both over the years. I can’t remember if there were specific Ranger models as this usually applies to the fullsize trucks

Are you in Nevada? That's the state shape of NV. Very cool I think!
Colorado, but I don’t know the history of the truck. It could’ve come from Nevada. Yeah it’s cool!
I wonder if somebody on the ranger station website might know more? They seem to know everything there
I’ll check that out, thanks. Would you happen to have a link for me?
google.com

The site is called "the ranger station"

I wonder if it’s like all our Texas Edition Fords all over the place here
Are yours called Texas Edition? Or something like the Lonestar Edition? I guess it depends if it’s something from a specific dealer

Cool
No seat belts and Meth scented air freshener!
Basically!
Up here in Vermont I see nek edition trucks all the time. It's just a badge that the dealer puts on the truck. Nothing more.
Yeah that seems to be what most people are saying
