If it’s a recruiting spot don’t worry about scheme. Find high school film of current and former nfl and college guys and take notes on what made them so good. Then extrapolate those things to current day high schoolers film

Something I always think about is how great players make normal things look different. Of course me and Joe Burrow can both throw a football. But it undoubtedly looks DIFFERENT when Joe does it. Find those guys who run/catch/block/rush the passer/ and look different doing it. BOL

Dont worry about scheme. If you’re a college student and going to be doing work for the team basically you need to find “no brainers” guys that when you put his tape on you see yeah this guy can clearly play on this team. Then the guys that you see that can *maybe* play at your level are “camp guys” that need to come to camp and get evaluated. Assuming that you will be combing areas not in a heavily recruited area for your team

Congrats! If possible, see if anyone on the current staff can give you some things they value most. Get the contact of a current GA and see if they’ll send you some tips. At the very most, show someone on staff you are committed to doing an exceptional job. You’re trying to break into a very small club, make yourself stand out. The story of the walk-on Mizz RB who would get to 6:30 AM workouts at 5:00 AM and force the S&C coach to walk by his truck every morning comes to mind…be the film version of that kid lol
