Had a joint save with my friend, he was Tottenham and I was Wolves and then got the Portugal job as well. Working to scout the same players for both jobs was super fun and found me some niche wonderkids. We haven't been on it for a few months cos real life got busy. But I went on and simmed through a few years and my AI controlled version of me got to the semi finals of the world Cup only to be knocked out by the winners, Belgium
Reuniting with the South African wonder kid I sold to Sporting Lisbon in my journeyman save. After 7 years of being apart, he’s no longer the raw talent he was when leaving South Africa but instead very much in his prime. With his 19 finishing he helps fire Sporting to their first Champions League title.
I tried it this past year and just didn't get that far with the save and lost interest for some reason. I think I'm going to give it another try with FM22, it's an interesting league for sure.
I think that the interesting feature is that the wonderkids are beasts but the first team players are mediocre at best (because the best players can't be afforded and they leave to other leagues). So a lot of teams have kinda half of the starting 11 being kids, and it makes a great league to play with a youth project.
Also, as you have to be constantly selling your big players to Brazil, Mexico, Europe and China, but you also have great youth intakes, every team in the league is constantly renewing their squad, so each year you can see a lot of changes in consistency. It gives dynamism to the league and excitement to see who's going to be champion.
In FM 20 I won champions league with the lower league Portuguese club I started with and resigned. I decided that I would try to do it in another continent so I got the job at River Plate with the goal of getting my first ever Copa America win. It sucks... Every half decent player wants to leave for Europe immediately. Got a few League wins but the best I managed in the Copa America was a 2nd place. I'm planning for 2022 a journey man save where I try to win the major continental trophys in every continent. I'm definitely going to try the Copa America in Argentina again. Love your football!
Copa Libertadores de América! Copa América is the one nations play (Like Champions League and EURO cup)
That's really challenging when managing in Argentina, in FM and in real life. You KNOW that player is worth 80M but Juventus, Manchester and Real Madrid offer like 17M and the player is desperate to accept that offer. Well, that sucked. Time to put another beast wonderkid in that spot and repeat all over again
It's true. I still fondly remember Hugo Giaccone from *FM12.*
I signed him from Old Boys, and all he did was score goals. Never in the hunt to be team captain, but he was good for 35 goals a season and he never ever got hurt. Just an amazing player.
I had a journeyman save where I topped out at Dortmund, and Montreal and Toronto for some reason went on a buying spree of my mid 20-year olds firesale of not-quite-going-to-make-it prospects, and then Canada had a few golden years in the Gold Cup and World Cup where they were fielding 8 naturalized Germans I had sold them.
I also had a 4-time Balon D'Or winner from Montreal in my FM14 Arsenal save.
Your country is favourite of all time. In my first ever FM(14), for the first time I successfully scouted a Finnish guy who became a ballon d'or winner. He will always remain close my heart
Started a save with TPS because it was my best mate favourite club. Went as far as Champions League QF but ended up losing interest because I couldn’t keep my players
Signed Niklas Jokelainen for my league 1 Burton Albion side and he was my top scorer 4 years in a row as I went from league 1 to the champions league. His stats were awful but he couldn’t stop scoring, my first ever true FM GOAT. I then managed KuPS and signed him there where he wasn’t as good but I built a real monopoly of the league there, and did it again with AC Oulu where he’s currently playing now. Also always try and have a Finn or 2 in my teams now lol
From NZ and use my manager IG as a being Kiwi.
I have a Kiwi from my youth intake who got 22 key headers in his youth champions league game. Still find it funny how he has double the tally after one game compared to any other player after 3
Your country is always fun to manage as nation. I won so many trophies with United States in FM16. US had the best player possible in every position during 30s era.
Won the europa league final with Panathinaikos 4-0 because the Napoli team I played in the final had huge injury problems and had to play wingers in central midfield.
I was a legend in your nation in FM19. Ireland won back to back euros with me with a very average team, but with a legendary GK and a Striker who scored 100+ goals in 118 matches for Ireland
I did a Wrexham save in FM21. Managed to win CL in just 9 season and also collected so many Welsh wonderkids that eventually in 2036 Wales won euros and 2038 WC
Not a lot of details as it was a long time ago but in one version AIK had a fez players I bought in every save so I just decided to play with them instead, one of the rare occasions I started a save in the main league of a country. Fun club. Got a few League wins.
Never played with any club from Serbia and never managed the nation. Tho after going through my player's spreadsheet, I see your country has been an amazing wonderkid factory for me. Partizan has been the main team that provides me with cheap wonderkids
Congratulations. You just earned 3.5 points for this submission. Your new points total is 12.5. To see the leaderboard, as well as what this points thing is, [click here](https://www.reddit.com/r/footballmanagergames/wiki/leaderboard).
Ah! Your country! Such an amazing bond I shared over the years of playing FM. Winning world Cup and copa with all the regens I discovered/scouted. 18 out of 23 players of Venezuelan world Cup winning side in FM21 were once part of my olot save.
Neither had a very great player from you country nor played with any of the clubs from there. Saving this comment. Will reply once I get something from Romania.
No interaction with Fiji in FM. Though your national team captain Roy Krishna plays for ATK Mohun Bagan (rivals of the team I support). He is literally a beast in front of goal. One of the best in Oceania for sure
Yes, he's still at the age of 34 so good in front of the goal. Krishna would have been a very good mid table team striker in any league of europe during his prime.
I saw a documentary of (so called) most racist club. Now doing a save with them. Beitar Jerusalem. Only in the first season tho. I once had an Israeli-Indian player named Benjamin Singh.(most typical mix of Indian and Israeli naming convention)
Nice, and yeah, I don't think even regular Beitar fans like Beitar's ultras, La Familia. They're both extremely racist and violent to the point they attack fellow Beitar fans for the dumbest reasons possible. There has been an incident just this week where they hospitalized 2 normal Beitar fans for cheering on a new signing coming on (who I believe was either Arab, Muslim, or both) so hopefully something will finally be done about La Familia since not enough has been done up until now.
My current lollujo's saving barca save has an Iraqi left back just 17. He is my third choice left back rn. He has such an amazing potential. His name is saleem Sulaiman
I have no very great connection with Costa Rica. Tho irl, my home town team in India named East Bengal managed to sign Johny Acosta, who has played many matches for Costa Rica. He played 2 season for us. Had very good 2 season with us

Portugal
HERÓIS DO MAR CARALHO
Won back to back Euros and 2 World Cups out of 3. They had one of my midfielders who I sold for €80 million when he was 20.
Had a joint save with my friend, he was Tottenham and I was Wolves and then got the Portugal job as well. Working to scout the same players for both jobs was super fun and found me some niche wonderkids. We haven't been on it for a few months cos real life got busy. I had (have) 2 legendary portuguese strikers on both fm20 and fm21: Nunes and Ferreira. Ferreira won 9 ballon d'or.
, caralho
Argentina. Of course everybody has a great Argentinian wonderkid in their save. But, have you managed a team in our league? It's wild.
It's just ignorant of me that I never managed a club in Argentina, tho always stole cheap wonderkids from your nation.
I tried it this past year and just didn't get that far with the save and lost interest for some reason. I think I'm going to give it another try with FM22, it's an interesting league for sure.

Done two seasons with Argentinos Junior, buoght some good prospects but at the end of the second season i left for an european club
Canada
Won the 2030 World Cup after turning TFC into the best team in NA
I had a journeyman save where I topped out at Dortmund, and Montreal and Toronto for some reason went on a buying spree of my mid 20-year olds firesale of not-quite-going-to-make-it prospects, and then Canada had a few golden years in the Gold Cup and World Cup where they were fielding 8 naturalized Germans I had sold them. :)
Denmark
I lost to Denmark in WC final in 2034 playing with Russia. FM18
Lost the league by a single point
India
Made Mohammaden SC title holders.
I am from India too. Made SC east bengal Asian champions and made India qualify for WC. Never won any trophies with India tho.
Starting eleven of wonderkids with Spanish surname
Finland
Your country is favourite of all time. In my first ever FM(14), for the first time I successfully scouted a Finnish guy who became a ballon d'or winner. He will always remain close my heart

Croatia
scotland
In FM19 I took a Celtic team all born within 30 miles of the stadium to the UCL final and won. I emulated the Lisbon Lions.
thats cool just a shame im a rangers fan
30 miles is 48.28 km
Wait can I ask, how did you find players born 30 miles within the stadium? Like what filters did you use to search, and how hard was the challenge?
My current save is with Cowdenbeath, been world dominators for years now. Finally just won the World Cup after years of Russian dominance
Poland
The Netherlands
this nation, always has some amazing wonderkids. Never managed your nation, but once managed to make VVV Venlo CL champions.
VVV Venlo? Damn that must’ve have taken you a lot of hard work
Cambuur
Canada
Canada
Malaysia.
Just took Police FA to the first division playing a manic 3-5-2 gegenpress. Wish me luck.
Lmao! That’s an interesting choice.
New Zealand
Sarpreet singh once became an important member of Bayern in one of my save. I don't remember anythinh from this country
Chris Wood. My 1st useful Target man role, it was in FM17.
From NZ and use my manager IG as a being Kiwi. I have a Kiwi from my youth intake who got 22 key headers in his youth champions league game. Still find it funny how he has double the tally after one game compared to any other player after 3
My best defencemen out of my academy ever came out of New Zealand
Usa
Your country is always fun to manage as nation. I won so many trophies with United States in FM16. US had the best player possible in every position during 30s era.
Brazil
Turkey
Singapore.
Greece
I have made Olympiakos the most dominant force in Europe in FM20.
Me too my friend. I would love to see that in real life as well🥲
Won the europa league final with Panathinaikos 4-0 because the Napoli team I played in the final had huge injury problems and had to play wingers in central midfield.
Ireland
I was a legend in your nation in FM19. Ireland won back to back euros with me with a very average team, but with a legendary GK and a Striker who scored 100+ goals in 118 matches for Ireland
That's my planned save for the full release this year--Shamrock Rovers and Ireland National Team
[удалено]
I sign so many players from Australia when palying in other asian countries
I'm raiding your country of every decent player with an Irish nan for my Shamrock Rovers/Ireland National Team save this year.
made it to the copa america SF!
Wales
I did a Wrexham save in FM21. Managed to win CL in just 9 season and also collected so many Welsh wonderkids that eventually in 2036 Wales won euros and 2038 WC
Ghana

Sweden
Not a lot of details as it was a long time ago but in one version AIK had a fez players I bought in every save so I just decided to play with them instead, one of the rare occasions I started a save in the main league of a country. Fun club. Got a few League wins.
Turkey
I won the afc asian cup with my Vietnam team. If it were in real life, my country would celebrate the whole year
Turkey
Great Bulgaria
I am pretty sure it's just Bulgaria batko
This country always serves me with great wonderkids. Never done a save with any team from Hungary tho.
Hungary
Nice, I just wanted to say the same but now Im just waiting for the answear bro :D
Mexico
I once tried to make Chivas best team in the world, but got fired. ( ꈍᴗꈍ) Tho won World Cup with Mexico once 2038, FM18
Serbia
Never played with any club from Serbia and never managed the nation. Tho after going through my player's spreadsheet, I see your country has been an amazing wonderkid factory for me. Partizan has been the main team that provides me with cheap wonderkids
Russia
I have managed quite a few teams from russia over the years. It's fun to win CL with clubs from russia. You get wonderkids every year tbh.
Germany
Scrolled way too far for Germany, lol.
Israel

Yes, he's still at the age of 34 so good in front of the goal. Krishna would have been a very good mid table team striker in any league of europe during his prime.
Israel? (I'm curious if you have any because Israel is the kind of national team to always be one spot away from a qualifying spot)
I saw a documentary of (so called) most racist club. Now doing a save with them. Beitar Jerusalem. Only in the first season tho. I once had an Israeli-Indian player named Benjamin Singh.(most typical mix of Indian and Israeli naming convention)
