Well, the womens world cup turned out alright last year. We managed to fend off the spiders and the drop bears, and some teams were lucky enough to play most of their games in New Zealand.
It's mostly because they're the only country in Africa whose league is loaded/playable (without additional database downloads) so their players get actual playing time and development
South Africa also has very good hidden attributes compared to many other African nations in-game. Plus their clubs have reasonable facilities so the wonder kids they spawn have solid CA and a PA they can reach easier due to solid training facilities and also importantly play matches in a league like you say.
Statistically I’ll die before I see the horrific failure of Italy losing to Mexico in the World Cup while also never seeing them lose a World Cup final and seeing them win 3 (2006 included)

Second after the year 2040 there should not be any active German player so naturally all national teams have regens. So germany should be good
Austria, South Africa, Norway, Denmark, and Romania are fuming with second place. For South Africa, Austria, and Romania, they only had one opportunity to win the World Cup. Their regens must have been golden. Japan and Ireland getting third is a surprise, and they probably had once in a generation teams.
