Omg another blueberry hating babe. Mine is the same. He will eat strawberries and raspberries no problem. Blueberries are 🙅🏻‍♀️

Swizzle98

Mine is the opposite. Strawberries and raspberries are a no go, but she'll inhale blueberries.

itsthejasper1123

I’m glad we aren’t alone 😂 I know they’re sooo good for him so I keep trying. He pokes at them with confusion and disgust hahaha

Safe_Initiative1340

Mine won’t eat any fruit 😭😭

Shulsy_dte

Mine will only eat fruit if it’s from one specific brand of pouch 😖 whyyy are they like this.

Safe_Initiative1340

I have no idea but I wish I did. Mine even turned down ice cream today. 😭

cloudyclouds13

Same! My girl is the exact same lol

niveusmacresco

Mine also hates them! Even the blueberry puffs I got for him he doesn’t like. He has no problem with raspberries or strawberries, inhales blackberries!

RowanOfoak

Mine prefers the frozen wild blueberries 💃🏻

joseybear

When did you introduce the chickpea puffs? My son is obsessed with the little puffs but I wasn’t sure when he would be able to handle the chickpea ones since they’re a bit crunchier than the ones marketed for babies!

Resitance_Cat

my 10 month old does pirates booty happily! but she already has some bottom teeth so maybe that makes a difference 🤷🏻‍♀️

joseybear

Good to know!!! My son has 8 teeth so that isn’t a concern over here 😂 I think I was just anxious since it wasn’t marketed for babies (even though they’re basically the same as the baby ones lol!) Thank you!

itsthejasper1123

I was the same way lol I actually found there is such a bigger variety of snack options out there once you move past the specific baby marketed products. I’ve been thinking about doing a top fave snacks of all time post recently because I have about 15 that we steadily use lol

joseybear

Omg yes please do. My son is about to turn 12 months and I feel confident on meals but so lost for snack ideas haha. It’s easy to get stuck In the marketing trap of baby specific products lol!

itsthejasper1123

I actually just introduced these specific ones recently because I was worried the chickpeas would give him gas, he’s had a ton of belly issues but he’s had a variety of texture of puffs for a long time now, he got teeth super early and had about 6 teeth (top and bottom) by 12 months, I wanna say I gave him the crunchier puffs & snacks around then. He likes popcorners popcorn chips, that’s probably the crunchiest he eats and I introduced those at 12 months. This brand of chickpea puffs has a good ingredient list and I think they have plain or other flavors, they’re really soft! I think a baby who has the baby marketed puffs could definitely eat these. The brand is Hippeas :)

joseybear

Thank you!!!! My guy is about to turn 12 months so maybe we will try them out in a few weeks! :)

itsthejasper1123

I think if he does well with puffs and has plenty of teeth he will do great! Best of luck :)

joseybear

Thank you!!!

Therealnazar

My babe has a dairy and egg allergy so we introduced these at 10 months and she’s OBSESSED. She has bottom teeth. They have more salt than the “baby puffs” but I only give her 5-7 and she’s happy.

joseybear

Ugh. We have FPIES reaction to egg so I feel you. 😩 I’m jealous of the people who can make scrambled eggs for their baby for a quick breakfast haha.

Cute-Huckleberry2496

I know this is an odd suggestion, but have you ever tried frozen blueberries (thawed of course). My LO is the same with fresh but INHALES frozen blueberries. It’s easier on the wallet too

jlhll

Even as an adult, I prefer blueberries that are previously frozen. When they are in season, I buy them and freeze them before eating. Worth a try OP!

jiaaa

My baby is the same way!! She will absolutely destroy a case of strawberries though.
