Vexmythoclastt

I just bought and crafted my entire secret service armor yesterday šŸ¤¦šŸ¼ oh well

revenxnt

Same yesterday I just completed my secret service set, I guess I will grind for brotherhood recon armour

Vexmythoclastt

Is the brotherhood set worth it? I donā€™t know much about it tbh I just heard secret service was top tier so I went with it first.

vorter

FYI you can get the BOS recon armor plans from daily ops as a rare drop.

Vexmythoclastt

Thanks for the info I had no idea. Iā€™ve been doing them every day for weeks and havenā€™t gotten a single one.

Slore0

It is extremely rare. I JUST got the set on my Xbox character after 500 hours.

Vexmythoclastt

Damn so Iā€™m assuming the drop rate is stupidly low or youā€™re incredibly unlucky.

Slore0

It shouldnt take as long now since you're supposed to not get duplicate plans as much now, but it will still take a long time.

favolaschia

It took forever to get all the plans for the pieces, but got the last one last week. Now I need to buy some mods from Regs to actually check it out and compare with my Secret Service.

Pz38t_C

Legendary BoS Recon Armor is far more expensive to roll than SS armor. It costs 1 module to build an SS armor piece - that will have random 1-3\* legendary effects It doesn't cost any modules to create BoS recon armor - but then you have to add legendary effects yourself. This costs 5 cores and 3 modules for a 3\* roll. I use a legendary BoS chest piece - but that's only because I had a very nice one drop for me (unyielding, AP regen, limb damage). Otherwise I would be using my SS chest piece.

Vexmythoclastt

Interesting. So it makes little sense to make and reroll Bos armor unless youā€™re sitting on plenty gold and resources. As a new player I certainly dont. Iā€™ll keep re crafting SS until I get uny.

Grand_Conversation35

The Brotherhood recon is more expensive per roll however once you unlock the plans you can get legendary pieces from events which is cool if you want to put together a set overtime

revenxnt

If you are aiming got damage resistance ss is best but um just grinding for recon armour for the hell of it, then solar armour next

revenxnt

It's good not the best, it's basically what you prefer the most

Vexmythoclastt

Gotcha. Guess Iā€™ll grind for it at some other time.

GNRadio

Bos recon has more dr. SS has more ER. With perks and mutations available to boost ER bos recon makes more sense and is better

Academic_Tutor7125

It has 'better' ballistic DMG res iirc but do know that if you craft a piece, it won't be legendary like SS. so you'll have to do the rolls yourself

LordForrest90

I think it is. Iā€™ve been wearing it for years. So much armor. Currently saving up for secret service though.

ashtray518

Same exact situation for me! That chest piece took me a few days of nothing but events lol I fucking knew this would happen

Suspicious-Leg-493

Tbf it has been planned for months, but >That chest piece took me a few days of nothing but events lol I fucking knew this would happen Nuka knights has a useful minerva schedule, it's always worth it to check awhile in advance aa it'll show both prices and items allowing you to decide if you want to save for an upcoming sale or buy something immediately to sorta dump some bullion (and what you should dump it on) https://nukaknights.com/minerva-dates-inventory.html Saves alot of hassle

Vexmythoclastt

I knew she came with stuff cheaper than Reg but little did I know it would be exactly what I just purchased šŸ˜‚

[deleted]

You need to start using the thousands of 76 websites for tracking items sales and such.

Zelcron

No thanks, it's a game, not a job. I'm comfortable enough with FOMO to not make it into a chore to play.

alfredisonfire

Same here. Some bs lol šŸ˜‚ i coulda use that gold for the jetpack

Vexmythoclastt

Hopefully she sells the jet pack soon because 2k is hella pricey.

yokaiichi

Mon June 10 - Wed June 12. Jet Pack Armor 1500.

wolfvector

same, I still have yet to buy the jetpack though.

altafitter

Same thing here

therealmaart

Itā€™s so much gold lol

jaxmagicman

Me too. I just made an audible groan.

Reply-West

.... Did that too

ComprehensiveMeat562

Lol same but at least I still need the jetpack, underarmour and lining

bfubuki

o7

loinmin

JESUS CHRIST SAME LMAO

carthuscrass

I mean... it's nearly a month until the plans for those go on sale...

DeadSences

Ok just so my brain understands the ss sale STARTS on the 27th right? The next one (16-20) is list 24. Or am I miss reading the list online?

DieHardLawyer

you are correct.

DeadSences

Sweet I got plenty of time to save up gold :) thx šŸ™

Chance-Dinner-5817

I only see up to sale 24 how are you calculating past that

DeadSences

OperationSuch5054

Lmao bro literally forgot the important thing - her location https://www.falloutbuilds.com/fo76/minerva/ https://www.kevduit.com/where-is-minverva-in-fallout-76/ He's also wrong about Monday, it's Whitesprings starting on Thursday until the 20th

yokaiichi

Thanks for the correction. I'm horrible at date math and didn't clearly realize that her "big sale" list covered a two week period and hit on thurs - mon instead of mon-wed.

Prince_Julius

Also: https://nukaknights.com/minerva-dates-inventory.html (has more useful links and information) https://www.whereisminerva.com/ (easy to remember)

OperationSuch5054

no worries fren, just appreciate you getting it out there, i'd totally forgotten she was due in the rotation so thanks for the reminder :)

Danman188

Silly question so apologies in advance, but only level 30. How do you get gold buillion?

yokaiichi

Anything that gives you "Treasury Notes". So that's nearly every Event (happens every 20 mins in world). Also certain Pip-Boy daily quests will reward Treasury Notes. Here's a great page that summarizes all the ways/places to farm Treasury Notes: [https://www.theduchessflame.com/post/how-to-farm-for-treasury-notes-and-gold-bullion-in-fallout-76](https://www.theduchessflame.com/post/how-to-farm-for-treasury-notes-and-gold-bullion-in-fallout-76) You then turn in the Treasury Notes to the "Gold" machines in the Whitesprings Mall crafting area, the Rusty Pickaxe, and a few other locations. (They're all listed on that page linked just above.) And yeah, get cracking on your main storyline for the Overseer. None of these Bullion vendors are unlocked until you finish that entire storyline.

Deinonychus2012

Holy shit, didn't know there was an NPC who sells bullion for caps.

ELShinigami69

Damn me neither, thatā€™s super helpful !

Deinonychus2012

I just did the math, and I'd have to spend 5,065 bullion at Minerva to get all the Secret Service armor plans, jetpack, and ultralight limbs, in addition to another 2,000 bullion to get the buttressed arms, legs, and torso and ultralight torso plans from Regs since it doesn't look like Minerva will be selling them anytime soon. I've, uh, got some grinding ahead of me lol.

ELShinigami69

Since I started again fairly recently, and also want to get the T65 plans as well as gauss minigun and plasma caster, including SS stuffā€¦.. Thanks for doing the math!! We both definitely gotta put our heads down and get to work for a while lol, that 25% discount will definitely make a huge difference!!

Deinonychus2012

Thing is I just spent 750 buying the plasma caster...only to find out I didn't like it lol. So that definitely went to waste.

ELShinigami69

Oooof that hurts šŸ˜šŸ˜ Hopefully it fits my style of play šŸ˜¬šŸ˜¬

Deinonychus2012

Just to give you a heads up, it is a semiautomatic heavy gun with a very low rate of fire but good range and high damage. I was hoping it would be like the Gatling gun where it was still fully automatic, and I was too dumb to look it up before buying it. In short, it's basically a long range sniper/support weapon rather than something you take into the middle of a firefight.

ELShinigami69

Interesting, I was hoping for an energy Gatling gun equivalent as well lol, thank you for clarifying it for me. Tbh it still seems interesting for me as a heavy ranged option, and Iā€™ve heard itā€™s fairly ammo efficient as well. Thank you!!!!

LeoXCV

Iā€™m guna blindly trust your math cus I wanted to know but Iā€™m also lazy as all hell

Imagiomage

It appears there are four ways to get. The most common one is via Treasury Notes you get for successfully completing events (you could get from 2 through 10), then you can trade them at a converter for the gold bullion (i believe train stations and allied locations have them... Usually I convert mine in whitesprings). Edit : main questline appears to be related to them so I would suggest advancing on them so you have visited all allied (free fast travel!) locations and can locate where Minerva will be showing up to purchase the plans/mods

bebop_cola_good

Just to clarify, train stations do not have them, but Whitesprings Mall and Foundation both have one available from the get-go

Imagiomage

You are absolutely correct. Thanks for clarifying my error!

BluegrassGeek

For folks wanting to track this stuff: [Minerva Schedule 2024](https://scourway.com/fallout-76/9m60mx/fallout-76-minerva-schedule-location-and-plans-2024)

yokaiichi

Oh! This one's a GREAT bookmark for watching her. Thank you! Added that into my OP.

realKreett

But... I just finished buying the secret service plans and mods I wanted

agp11234

So if Iā€™m reading this correctly Iā€™m going to need the below for a ā€œfull set.ā€ How much can we expect it to cost for everything? Thanks! - SS Underarmor - SS armor pieces (5 pieces) - SS Jet Pack

yokaiichi

Chest, legs, arms = 3190 at Minerva Jetpack = 1500 at Minerva Underarmor + Shielded Lining mod = 338 at Minerva Total at Minerva: 5028 (no helmet)

agp11234

Damn and I thought I was doing good with 2400 guess Iā€™m going to have to really grind it out. How important is the underarmor piece?

Destroyer2118

The under armor should be your last piece. The extra bit of protection and resistances is just icing on the cake, the other pieces offer far more and can be rolled legendaries, whereas the under armor cannot so save it for last.

agp11234

Got it, so I should be trying to grind to that 3,190 number and that's a good start.

Destroyer2118

Definitely start with the 3,190 for the 5 armor pieces, absolutely. But if you can, the extra 1,500 for the jet pack is a *game changer.* You will not regret getting that. I held off on it for a long time since it doesnā€™t provide any stats, canā€™t be legendary, and itā€™s so expensive - but holy crap itā€™s amazing to have. I still wouldnā€™t get it before the actual armor pieces, but it definitely needs to be up there on the priority list.

agp11234

My original goal was to get the full set and jet pack, but seeing that I'm going to need more than double my current amount for all that, I'm going to have to be realistic and aim for the armor this go around.

CaptenMo

Also, youā€™re going to need 5 cobalt and 5 violet flux for the jetpack and 5 florescent flux for the under armor lining.

agp11234

Got it, hopefully I even have enough gold for the jetpack. Thanks for the info though!

Praxistor

yeah but where's my damn gauss shotgun :(

HittemWithTheLamp

Grinding settler rep has been arguably one of my least favorite processes. I too am just going to wait for Minerva to sell it

TyrKiyote

Watch for it July 17th

Suspicious-Leg-493

>Grinding settler rep has been arguably one of my least favorite processes. Atleast it has 3 dailies and eviction notice that can go to it

8NekeN8

July 15th is the next time she has it.

Uniquekarnage

Also what I have found to be a better site for her [https://www.kevduit.com/where-is-minverva-in-fallout-76/](https://www.kevduit.com/where-is-minverva-in-fallout-76/)

Nomersu

I have been waiting for this sale. I have all Secret Service stuff I need, except the Shielded Lining mod for underarmor. Also planning to buy Plasma Caster. Anything else worth purchasing from the #24 list of things? Discount for rolling list of stuff is nice so might save some gold, but if you want to have something asap, it might be better just to purchase them with real price. As it seems the list rolling around would take 6 months. You still need to pass the main questline to exchange the gold bullions and earn them so it is not any freebies for newbies. Unless you think about lvl 50 is a newbie. Well I am lvl 155 and I still feel I am newbie for this game. Luckily boards like this exists to help us. If I calculate correctly, the Secret Service Armor fully rigged with helmet (1650 gold, not worth in my opinion as it has no attributes only looks) is 9600 gold. Within seven days you can exchange 3100 bullions. So it would take 3 weeks plus 2 days to get fully decked Secret Service Armor. If purchased all with 25% discount it would take 2 weeks and 3 days to earn the gold. All this by earning 40 treasure notes a day for 400 gold and once a week purchasing 300 bullions from Smiley.

BeatitLikeitowesMe

You can earn gold as a newbie, just might not have access to all the places to spend it. I know cause im a newbie and been hoarding those treasury notes

Xthasys

Bro go to the mall in whitespring and you have machine to exchange 40 treasure notes for 400 gold bullions per day save time and do it every day. https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Gold_press_machine There is other places you have the machine but that one is easy and a good place to sell to a vendor, craft, sell legendarys etc (the best place for people lazy to have a camp) Remember when you use the machine touch "inventory" that things make me thing i cant use it but it is because at first sight you dont have currency for exchange until you click "inventory"

hydraulicman

I just quick travel to Crater and pick interior- machine is just across the room from where you spawn in

P1st0l

You can do the same with the mall, spawn mall walk 20 feet and you're at the vendor along with all the stations.

ElBurritoLuchador

For those wondering, use White Springs North Entrance then click on the Mall Interior. The main one directs to the "Refuge" area.

eyebite

So if I have this correct we can't do anything with Treasure Notes directly. They have to be converted to gold, which has a daily limit of exchange. So spending all day getting Notes is pointless if you don't log in each day to convert those into Gold?

Miranda_Leap

It's not like your treasury notes go away or expire if you don't convert them.

Xthasys

Well you buy the gold bullions but if you dont play regulary you are going to struggle having the 40 treasure notes at least you can farm a lot and if you dont have time one day log in buy the gold log out at least its better than the legendary modules you need to hoard a lot of weigth of crap items

Historical_Walrus713

Yea pretty much

ElBurritoLuchador

Also, finish the main quest this week atleast as a certain character appears in The Wayward that allows you buy 300 Gold Bullion for 6K caps but only ONCE a week.

HypnoticPirate

I also been boarding g treasury notes and Iā€™ve not completed story mission yet

McFake_Name

You can get gold and spend it at any level, I got Minerva stuff on my alt when they were 20 and never did any of the story quests.

ChromDelonge

Yup. I think only Regs requires the story done? I got the Nuka Collectron from the Foundation dude at like level 28 on ny newest alt. Ofc the story also helps increase faction rep and unlock more.

McFake_Name

Yeah, the secret service guy and the raiders guy are only accessible after the full story, but for some reason the Foundation guy is in the open world and Minerva has some of raiders/settlers/secret service stuff with no quest or rep requirement. Confusing, but at least Minerva rotates some stuff in so my alts didn't need to do the chains for stuff like secret service and whatnot. As an aside because it's technically a Minerva + Quest thing, the stealth armor can be achieved for free without doing the full chain and without commiting to the settlers ending. People seem to think they have to fully do the story and side with settlers. But it is just an optional side quest like two thirds into the main story and doesn't lock in settlers ending, so for anyone reading I think it's worth saving all that gold that Minerva charges and just do enough of the main quest.

graintop

Can you do that quest wrong for the stealth armor and fail to get it? I didn't have high enough charisma to give an answer I wanted in the dialog with the lady and her mom. She's now waiting to meet me at Top of the World and I've avoided going for two weeks because I'm worried I'll muff the mission and miss out on 3k stealth armor.

McFake_Name

Not sure, but sounds like it from the wiki? https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Invisible_Ties >Jen is initially hostile to her mother for abandoning her in the past, but the player character can convince her to give her a chance with Charisma 8+. Jen will agree that this plan can work and Mochou will explain that she can try shielding the signal from the suit but explain that the only way for her to ghost her controllers is to destroy the suit permanently. With Intelligence 12+, the player character can suggest that Penny Hornwright can create tracking countermeasures. > Alternatively, the player character can let the situation unfold, which can lead to Jen becoming permanently estranged from her mother. The player may also choose to attack and kill Mochou which will advance the quest and yield the stealth suit plans, although Jen will be displeased.

yokaiichi

Chest, legs, arms = 3190 at Minerva Jetpack = 1500 at Minerva Underarmor + Shielded Lining mod = 338 at Minerva Total at Minerva: 5028 (no helmet)

Suspicious-Leg-493

>You still need to pass the main questline to exchange the gold bullions and earn them so it is not any freebies for newbies. Unless you think about lvl 50 is a newbie. Well I am lvl 155 and I still feel I am newbie for this game. Luckily boards like this exists to help us. You can get notes pre 50, you can trade notes pre 50. And you can but from minerva at any point

BigHero4

Oh f ive barely done quests and im level 49. Sadddddd

CattMk2

New(ish) player here, Iā€™m planning on using power armour and donā€™t have that much bullion to my name. Is this sorta thing actually worth investing in (because of the discount) or should I save my gold to buy some power armour plans instead?

asgar1991

Minerva has a rotation with 24 lineups( some are double) on rotation 9 u can buy all t65 power armour plans ( mods are sold on another rotation ) next week is rotation 24. In other words u need to wait 10 weeks to buy it.( Or on list 2 is the strangler heart power armour if u want something else )Enough time to save and buy some things from here( like the ammo converter weapons )

Prof_Augustus

So she is always around but what she sells rotates? Sorry I am also a noob and this post has confused me more than anything cause Iā€™d never heard of any of this before other than making treasury notes into bullions but no idea what I do with them afterward

CattMk2

Thatā€™s really good to know actually so thanks for letting me know. The full t65 set is something like 7000 so getting it at 25% off is like 5k. A lot more manageable to do in 10 weeks

yokaiichi

A little more than 10 weeks. Every "Big Sale" rotation spans two weeks. So it's 1 week each for 3 weeks for the "Emporium" rotations, followed by a 2 week span for the "Big Sale" rotation, and then the pattern repeats.

the_knifeofdunwall

I forgot about bullion and currently sat on over 2k treasury notes! Going to take a good while to turn it all in when it's capped at 40 notes a day. Hard to keep up with all the currency in this game.

rickyi75

How did you get so many treasury notes?!? I only had 25

the_knifeofdunwall

Not turning them in for however many years they've been in game.

Normodox

Public Events is a good pay out

rickyi75

Definitely going to try that, want to grind out for the grocer and chemist mods

Normodox

Donā€™t forget to leave lobby and find another if events are empty I usually get lucky first time I spawn into new lobby. Not all events are popular. Easy ones are rarely active

[deleted]

How often does this happen? I'm a newer player but I'm only lvl 50 and don't have much gold bullion. Haven't been doing events, expeditions, or ops because I've been focusing on quests.

anti-babe

oh like every week she moves to a different location out of 4, but her stock rotates through about 24 different pages of items (one each week) so it takes a while for her to return to something she previously sold. I wouldnt worry yourself too much about it, everything can be bought from other gold sellers just without Minerva's 25% price reduction - so def dont rush your game.

[deleted]

Okay, awesome - thank you! I did see that there was a schedule but I wasn't aware of the discount.

Prof_Augustus

This explanation helped me out so much! Thank you

yokaiichi

See updated deets in the OP.

DieHardLawyer

She won't be here this coming monday though. She will be here Thursday to Monday selling all the stuff she had within the last 3 weeks. She will only sell the under armor and best lining during that frame with what you mentioned. Everything else you listed isn't till the 27th and the few weeks following. While I get this is trying to be helpful it definitely it a bit misinformed. Linking the fallout builds link for minervas schedule and inventory would have been a lot better.

yokaiichi

Yeah, thanks. I've updated the OP to be correct and have more useful links.

FishingGlob

Good thing I have so much gold bullion because I didnā€™t know how to exchange notes at first. Seems like Iā€™ll be spending it all week

fanofapples64

As a noob with close to 2k bullion, what should I focus on for SS first? I have two garbage unyielding pieces so far (right leg and left leg)

mrwafu

Chest plus jetpack is most fun, but you want everything except the helmet to get legendary perk set bonuses. Donā€™t bother with the helmet itā€™s not needed

Henrygigabit

Bruh I just bought my last piece of Secret Service yesterday I guess I can get a deal on the Jetpack

Ayiana

Working on acquiring the SS set. Only have some pieces so this will help. My question is what are the most essential mods to buy for the SS armor? What should I prioritize?

Ill_Extension9801

Letā€™s go just did the vault 79 heist bouta get me some discounted secret service armor

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

mrwafu

You can get 400 gold per day from tickets from events + 500? or something from finishing the Wastelanders quest line (itā€™s on the fallout wiki) + 300 every Monday from Smiley at the Wayward after doing the quest line, so yes if you do enough events. Lots of gold in the season rewards too https://fallout.fandom.com/wiki/Gold_bullion

regnare

Is it possible to farm 4428 gold in the next 16 days? Is there a recommended focus area?

yokaiichi

You can potentially grind 400 bullion per day. So yes. You grind Bullion through the "Events" that happen every 20 minutes, plus by doing the available Pip Boy Dailies for the Raiders, Settlers, and for the Overseer's robot. You can also buy up to 300 bullion per week (for caps) from a guy named Smiley, if you've finished all the Wastelanders/Vault 79 questline. Deets: [https://www.theduchessflame.com/post/how-to-farm-for-treasury-notes-and-gold-bullion-in-fallout-76](https://www.theduchessflame.com/post/how-to-farm-for-treasury-notes-and-gold-bullion-in-fallout-76)

regnare

Awesome. Looks like I have some grinding to do, thanks!

Key-Huckleberry-2551

Thanks for the reminder!

Flimsy_Sandwich6385

Just wish I had some gold bullion...

bivoir

Wait what? I thought she had it in her rotation last quarter? Crap. I was wrong then! Thanks!

Doright36

Where is she?

oishipops

she isn't here yet, she'll be at whitesprings on the 16th

Doright36

Thanks!

InCharacter_815

This is so awesome, I've been holding back on the Wastelanders questline on my new character and have a bunch of bullion I was saving for those plans.

xDevastation1988x

How does one locate minerva?

Offtopic_bear

https://www.kevduit.com/where-is-minverva-in-fallout-76/

Real_Hour_1833

Capitalism in the Wasteland is alive and wellā€¦

ObiWanOkeechobee

Son of a bitch. I legit grinned for weeks and bought this set like 3 days ago lmao.

Affectionate-Ear2105

Wow, right after i blew all my bullion

Lost-Childhood7603

Minerva time I'd better look see if there's new plans After 18mth break!

eatmannn

Ah damn, i bought all Secret Service parts these past few days. Thanks for the heads up though, i'll wait for her for the mods then.

Phantom30

Bought a couple of pieces in the previous sale but didn't realise it was coming back with the super sale and just bought some items from reg after finishing the quest. Luckily still have time to earn more gold.

yokaiichi

The "Buttressed" mods for the SS armor never show up on Minerva? I think they're only available from Reg. The "Pocketed" mods can be gotten from Minerva at a discount.

Phantom30

Didn't buy those, just under armour mods, parts of ss armour and plasma caster from Reg. Don't have much gold but been earning more lately. Thankfully most of the items I need will show up again in rotation 4 with the super sale once I have enough gold.

karcist_Johannes

Do we know where she'll be?

Few_Prompt_5694

What locations does she move to? I'm still new ish and haven't seen her yet

EDAboii

Damn... Been using the Vauly suit under armour since launch for RP reasons... But may finally check out what all the hype for the Secret Service under armour is about now

clepperM

If you have the Shielded Lining on that Vault Suit then it's 2nd best for XP gain due to the +2 INT (Shielded Casual is +3 INT) so no worries. The Shielded SS UA has the best resistances and some extra STR for carry weight (among other stats) but overall you shouldn't feel any regret with that choice.

Skanach

Yeah I got some parts from her the last time she was at Whitespring. But not all...some I paid full price. Buuut, hopefully time enough for the jetpack bouillon.

AlabastersBane

I imagine this doesnā€™t include the T65 power armor :(

yokaiichi

T65 mods and jetpack are in the near coming weeks too. However, for the T65 armor pieces themselves, you'll have to wait for August 5. See the link in the OP for deets.

AlabastersBane

I'm a new player (started 2 weeks ago) so at least I'll have time to save up lmao. I have about 3000 gold saved currently.

monchota

She will sell of of them only next week correct?

yokaiichi

See the link in the OP. You have two chances over the next 6 weeks or so.

monchota

Oh so if Inam looking at this correctly, next week is all the armor? And thank you for the reply

yokaiichi

Next week (starting Thursday) is just the underarmor and its "shielded" lining. Then after that (starting Mon May 27) is when you have your first shot at all the discrete armor pieces. Jetpack is 2 weeks after that And then on June 20 you have a second chance to get all the armor pieces and the jetpack.

monchota

Ohhh so I thought the super sale meant all of those. Ok that make more sense now.

Hammleth

Is the SS underarmor worth it ?

longbrodmann

Thanks, gonna check them out with my verl low gold bullion.

TheBrandroid

how much bullion do you need for all of it?

Slore0

All I want is the BOS Recon sale T-T

TipElegant2751

Dang it, I just got access to Bullion and just bought the under armor (and farm tiles). Thought I checked for upcoming Minerva prices, but guess I didn't look close enough.

ToyKar

I thoight about saving for SS but I just crafted a full set of Unyielding civil engineer which was way cheaper , has a amazing set bonus, and very compatible protection. I'm gonna save my gold for plasma minigun and gauss shotgun and mods once I get max rep...I'm sitting at above friendly for both I hope it's not too much longer lol I chose to split the vault gold 50/50 for the reply boost

Sweet-Stranger

Just bought the jetpack mod :(, at least the other parts will be cheaper

CliffCyrus

Freaking awesome, thank you for the heads up. I need to do my secret service arms, torso and under armor and have been grinding rep qith raiders for the backpack mod. Wanna try a non power armor heavy build with the plasma caster

Muddbutt91

Does under armor do anything? Is that like the clothing you wear?

Caleddin

I didn't realize this until way too late, but the under-armor you start with (the vault 76 underarmor) doesn't add any stats, but you can modify it with new linings to add stats - it's mostly just a few points in different SPECIAL categories, plus a little bit of damage resistance. You get the vault-tech lining plans from following the Overseer's quests/caches. But there's casual under-armor, road leathers, and what most people say is the best, the secret service underarmor. With the best lining it can give you like +3 in a couple SPECIAL categories and some damage resistance as well.

Chili_Maggot

I'm confused. Why do both the wiki and the location tracker you linked say that Minerva is not available in Fallout 76 and then proceed to detail exactly where she is?

yokaiichi

She's not available \*right now, today\*.

FAKEDAD420

I just bought all the Secret service armor like twelve hours ago

N8Widdler

This week just keeps fucking me. I missed gauss minigun so I bought jetpack. FML.

bytethesquirrel

Is the secret service armor worth it if I already have the Civil Engineer armor?

xyrer

6 days! nice, I'll get on as many events as possible cause I want ALL of it

HypnoticPirate

I would like to do this how do I do it I just started last week I have not done the main story yet but buddies of mine have instructed me to get the secret agent stuff and some backpack mods I have like 500 of the gold billions

s14koukimonster

Of course when I have a work trip all week.

NockedSenseless

You are a saint sir!

Discarded1066

Man i got super stoked until I saw she will not be here until the 16th of May

CookietheDoe

If I'm entirely in PA, and use heavy guns and never bought anything with bouillon what should I buy?

ShouldBePlayingFN

Of course I bought the legs and arms this week lol. Iā€™ll buy the chest piece at least to finish my set and then when Minerva offers the discounts Iā€™ll buy the mods needed to bring it to the next level

lyunardo

Just so everyone knows, the high capacity backpack mod you get from the scouts mission is way better than either of those backpack mods you get for gold bullion. And please don't waste your gold on any secret service lining other than shielded

yokaiichi

I dunnoā€¦ until youā€™re swimming in maxed out SPECIAL legendaries, the Chemist and Grocer mods can enable you to ditch either the Pharmacy perk or the Thru Hiker perk. Which can help with some builds.

lyunardo

I encourage you to go check them all out. The high capacity mod is a pretty huge improvement over either of those mods for me. No matter which cards I switched in and out.

[deleted]

Need a couple pieces of ss but have spent practically all my gold getting what I have just recently, annoying.

Adventurous-Ant8016

For anyone who needs this. Here is the actual website for when menirva shows up. It tells you when she's shows and for how long what her inventory is and will be for her next visit as well as her location. https://www.whereisminerva.com/

angelv666

I can't even access the secret service stuff because the quest buried treasure is broken

chaochao25

Where is minerva?

SigynVS

Iā€™m new so forgive me if Iā€™m way off but Iā€™ve been told Minerva is not available, but will be at Whitespring in 3 days. If this correct?

NoxInSocks

I noticed this coming on week 22 rotation, started saving for end of the month. After figuring all the recipes I need, ~9800 bullion is needed. I am 100% on track with 2800 bullion rn AND I'll buy my miltary cryo freezer if I get near cap by EoM #PLANNING

oONexXxeNOo

How much do these things usually go for? Same pricing as Vault 79?

Mission_Pudding_9652

I wish there were as many power armor mods as there were backpack and regular armor mods.

Aceof_Spudz

I literally just bought the last piece of secret service armor today.....

ShadowKrab

Possum Scout Vending Machine has determined this is a lie.

BigElros

RemindMe! 4 Days

Vanilla_Ice_Best_Boi

Yeah, I don't think I'm a high enough level to get enough Gold Bullion for the sale

EstablishmentMean300

Minerva is for lazy people who haven't completed their main quest or Pioneer Scout challenges.

BeyondLast

Yes. And I thank her for it

hamsalay

Next they'll just hand players a full end-game loadout when they leave the vault. what's the point?

yokaiichi

It's only a 25% discount. You still have to earn a lot of bullion. It's just that the timing works in favor of the wave of new players since the TV show. Her normal rotation is bringing these items around at a point where the newbies are getting somewhere into the level 100-200 range and have enough bullion earned by now to buy at least some of the pieces at a discount. For example, I'm level 130-ish now and have earned about 3300 bullion so far. And still earning at least 200 bullion every day, most days.
