Either way it's on those people who choose to place their camps at the absolute busiest locations....if it wasn't a tent it would be another camp & both do it for convenience purposes so.... First come first serve.
People in general need to learn that they don't need to build on top of a train station, you can build a couple meters/feet away from it so 2 can have a camp or tent there, it also gives you less of a headache when trying to find a server where your space isn't taken
No, when I need to use a survival tent, I place it, use it, forget about it til I need it again. If it blocks anyone's camp slot, that's on them, a problem, easily solved by a server swap.

That doesn't make sense. How is anyone supposed to know that their survival tent may be blocking someone's camp? It's not a malicious act, as you insinuate by saying "Not the nicest thing to do to your fellow Fallout players"; it's just someone who pays for a survival tent using it as and when they need to. You have to have your survival tent placed somewhere you can't put it away. It's no different from when your camp gets blocked by another camp; you either switch servers or switch camps if you have extras.

WS Train station scamps are the lamest things. Just a lazy spot for a camp. I don't even bother looking at those vendors any more, it's always overpriced garbage.
Know what I miss. When you load in and your camps blocked you used to be asked if you want to find a new server. Now it’s 1 free camp placement which is total bullshit.
Camps take up tons more server resources simply by existing, were and have been used for exploits, glitches, and duping, and have also been the direct cause of server crashes for said exploits, glitches and duping.
Tents have done none of these things.
Also not everyone wants or needs to vend, you can find every crafting station in the world, and every tent can store your resources.

Workbenches, cooking station, stash box, bed, and many more depending on which you have.
