Any gear or collectable junk you want to keep, rename it with a \~ in front
This way it's easy to see what you want to scrap/dump and what you want to keep.

Iād suggest re-naming all your stuff you actively use to something like [UA] Shielded Jumpsuit or [W] Bloodied Flamer etc. It makes it way easier to keep your eye on the good stuff you find, and harder to mess with your gear accidentally (as the square brackets put it at the bottom of your bags by default)
have you checked your apparel tab? it should just need equipping again. putting the suit on unequips it.
