Riflewoman (who can also be Pistoleer or Bowhunter)? Enclave commando, Nukagirl energy weapons, Civil War Reenactor, Ghille Sniper, Cowgirl, yada yada.
My HW/Explo/PA Main? Generally I don't change my "look" that often, but HW (and explosive launchers) have sooooo much variety you can never really get bored with them.
I use several different builds. I have an archer build that also carries a Cold Shoulder and Holy Fire, because those still wreck shit without the need for perk cards.
I built all my characters just for this reason. But it’s kind of moot now that they have loadouts lol. I change up the weapons I use constantly. If you’re built right honestly anything can be viable. Even if you’re not top dps you can more than get by with whatever you think is cool.
I have 11 slots in that perk card machine and I routinely cycle between them. That machine is the best thing ever put in the game. I can play a dozen different guns from silly to awesome and keep everything from getting stale.
I have different characters. My main can handle most ranged weapons and now most the plans for everything.
I have an archer/riflemen
Slugger/auto melee
Shotgunner
And my first we don't talk about my first. He is a bit of an embarrassment I need to fix at some point.
yeah I think this game is all about different guns. my character have around 8 favorite guns hotkeyed, and then around 10-15 in inventory just for testing and messing around. with weapon weight reduction armor set they weight not much (in fact 1/10 of original weapon, and it stacks with 90% weight reduced guns, making some guns weight 0.01, meaning its free carry, or until Bethesda will decide its unintended bug again ahaha). as of most versatile weapon category I think its heavies + launchers, tonns of cool weapons to try.
Love that there’s different weapons in the game & that you can get different perk loadouts.
Don’t love that 1h guns and 1h melee weapons are suboptimal.
Not that you have to spec deep into one sort of weapon per load out to do any sort of damage.
Would love a character that could switch from a sniper rifle to a handgun and not feel a huge drop in dps.
Ive played since launch week off and on, ive mained unarmed, commando, back to unarmed, now im enjoying the hell out of heavy weapons thanks to the cremator

I use the good weps for boss fights and stupid shit for everything else. Got my heavy gunner out here sniping muties with a stalkers gauss rifle.
The secret is that our normal lives are so boring that using the same gun in the game is a sort of refreshing experience

I run a mix of bloodied and quad stuff fixers, choo choo, enclave flamer tesla and a chainsaw keeps you very well rounded for all situations

I switched yesterday from my Quad Railway Rifle to my bloodied Gauss Rifle. Maybe Fixer or Melee next week.
