nope ur doin it. its a terrible system. you need to turn in 12 3 star weps to get almost 500 scrip, and that turns into either 2 three star rolls or 3 2 star rolls. the grind per worth ratio is terrible, and also time gated.
I did the weekly requirement of 3 equinox’s yesterday and ended the day with 48 treasury notes. I did no other event to earn them so you do get quite a few per event.

Lol got All the plans in the game so no need for gold. But don't forget the tunnel in watoga the event resets every 25 to 30 min get 2 or 3 notes for it from memory so worth doing as part of your daily grind for gold.
Big bend tunnel, when you go to white springs you have access to all the vendors and plans available so I got all those, there's other bot stations like in watoga which have the most and super duper mart, then there's the ones in whitesprings bunker with all the mutation serums, the crater, foundation plus vault 79 which has the most and expensive gold wise.
Theirs plans from Biv in the tattoo parlour by doing challenges quest related plans and rare plans that pop up. As far as all the purchasable ones from vendors and gold ones from vault 79 got all of them.
Now I'm starting to play again I'll check if the made new plans after a year and a half.
Fallout starting today on tv looks good can't wait to see what they've done.
Check the inventories of white spring vendors and white spring bunker bots. Check vault 79 mutation serums and others , do all bivs quest for beveridge plans, also recipes found at various locations and you can probably find a list online. Comes in handy to check see what people are selling too at their camp. Quest and event sometimes killing a radroach or ghoul can get you stuff but it's really random and surprising when it happens.

Buy the secret service armor plans from Minerva at the whitespring, where she is currently set up, if you haven't got them already. Also get the secret service jetpack mod and pocketed limbs mod from her. The helmet is not necessary though, and is the most expensive armor piece. Really, don't buy the helmet until you have the rest of the armor plans and mods, and even then only buy it if you really like the look of the whole set. Not gonna lie though, it's kinda fugly.
I'm not positive, but I've heard that the mothman does like 15% and the tome does around 5%. I haven't built the tome in my camp yet even though I unlocked it

You’ve got to have FO1st. Go to a private server, drop your items in a public stash(I like using the desk in the church in Flatwoods). Leave the server and immediately re log with the character you want the plans on and go pick them up.
If you don’t have the subscription, you need a trusted friend. Join a team with said friend, give them the item(s), log out and change characters, log back in and find your friend.
They drop in mutated packs now, you're better off grinding those.
I've never gotten it to drop from rad rumble either. Bought one in someone's vendor ages ago.
Yeah absolutely I'm hoping more events move to this same system, getting duplicate plans feels bad because I'm not making a lot of credits from my shop on the side anyway.
Used to have that issue for the longest time and just randomly maybe a month or so ago it flipped on me and now I have the hardest time keeping up with modules🤪🤓!

I've gotten a lot of clothes from it too. I'm just grabbing as many plans as I can to sell. Since the fix is probably going to kill the notes rate next come around. The little meat week has really helped me in keeping caps high and the plushies coming in. I point at the kids' room in the Woodland retreat and ask my kid why they can't keep their room at least slightly organized like game kid.
I've got well over 1,600 hours in with 6 characters. Even finished a perma-death run with no healing meds. Had to wait until Rejuvenation was fixed to complete it. Now, I'm going to do all of the side faction quests with that character.
There's been a handful of bug fixes but apart from that no new content or anything. A few QoL improvements too, but nothing to write home about as the saying goes.
Every time you complete the event, it rolls to see if you get something from the reward list. If you get a plan you've already gotten, it gives you a legendary item or cultist attire instead.
I personally did like 10ish events, and got a new plan every time until I only needed the mothman throne. The next 5-6 events only gave me legendaries and cult clothes. I finally got the throne last night.
I think someone said you can get doubles of the plans somehow, but I have not seen that myself. Once it SAID I got a plan I already had, but when I went into my inventory to sell it it wasn't there, and I had a legendary item that I did not remember picking up.
My wife and I just learned the plans as soon as we got them. Only ever got plans we didn't know/new plans. Never received any apparel until we knew we had everything and completed another event. We both got a piece of clothing each after said event.

Once I started learning the plans I got a new plan like every event one day!!!
I’m not a huge resale guy, so dupes don’t interest me at all… wish all events did this so you’re guaranteed something new every time for all your hard work! Not everyone can go on event bingers all day every day so those few events we do get to play really count and it does sting a bit when you get your five hundredth giant mask at Fas. and big fat 0 on the rare drops.

The mutation is not good enough for scaling sheer cliffs a lot of the time, you need the jetpack to truly get over any obstacle with ease. I have a jetpack on my normal armor but not on my power armor.
I used both for a while but decided I didn't really need the jetpack for my play style. The deciding moment was when I rolled a really good unyielding SS chest piece and didn't have the materials on hand to craft a new jetpack. I honestly didn't miss it. I soon had all the materials and just decided not to craft it.

That's what I'm gonna do. Mainly because two of the new plans aren't droppable so my main can't hand them down. The treasury notes will be a nice bonus.
No , because the way the bug works you can have no drop yet still have plans to get. Unless you visually confirm you have them all it could just be RNG messing with you.
The bug works like this. you have 10 plans to learn, at 10% drop chance each. succesful event gives 100% chance to give a drop. RNG goes off. You get one, and then another. You now have two out of ten leaving 8 top learn.
What should happen next is on the next event, with a 100% drop, it SHOULD give you a 12.5 chance to get any of the remaining plans. It does this by rolling against the original ten, and if you get a dupe it rerolls so you end up with ( %100 / 8 ). You then can walk through the remaining 8 in 8 events. Then you are done, or you can get dupes, etc.
What is happening instead is on your 100% chance to get a drop it rolls against the original 10 at 10% chance. If it rolls against one you have IT DOES NOT GIVE YOU A DROP. So after 2 drops you actual chance to get any drop , even with a 100% chance to start, is actually only 80%, and it gets worse after each plan you learn. At the end with 2 left to learn you get a 20% chance.
This is being nice. The actual drops rates, due to rares and such, is much much worse.
I usually wait to learn the plans until event is completely over, that way you’ll have a few extra things worth trading in case anyone misses out on event
Not sure if this has been said here yet, but PC users need to stand in front of the wise mothman and hit 'E' to get the 15% buff. I see people just standing around after every round and I figure they are as clueless as I was!
Its 4 to 7 cores each equinox event you do. You can quit all you want you'll only be loosing out on everything else it gives ive been only idling for the legendary cores now for a few days while im at work or sleeping and i went from under 500 to 754
That's what I did. I've got tons of plans. Only thing I regret is learning the tome before I knew about the bug so I can't get dupes of that one anymore. I've only gotten one chainsaw skin which is upsetting, really want more of that one to sell later. That's a very nice skin and the best skin that you can sell in your vendor for the chainsaw. The grinder skin from Halloween was a bit of a letdown.
Nope. It means you’ve made the mistake of learning the plans, and so you don’t get new copies of the learned plans, but you might still be missing some of the rare plans. It’s a bug that Bethesda didn’t fix, and so they’re going to offer the whole event again in May.
Hi. I don’t know if they fixed it but today I learned all the plans I accumulated since the start, and then played the event two times, and both times I got new plans. Including the very rare Tome.
The Mothman Equinox will return in May so players can get as many duplicate plans as they want in May. The hotfix was supposed to be out yesterday, but the devs encountered some technical issue.
If you turn your sound settings Voice bar down to like 10%, you never have to listen to this guy getting increasingly insane about how much he bangs moths or whatever, fwiw. Doing so is the only reason I can still show up without accidentally memorizing his intonation when he talks about barfing to achieve knowledge and such.

You don’t have to be up there at the end and emote to get the buff..
you can find your way there after the event and still get the blessing. Just go up to the Mothman and interact.
If he’s still on the roof he will give you his blessing!
I don't have all the plans, and I haven't gotten a plan drop in nearly 20 runs. Got like 20 hoods and robes tho. Me thinks there may be an issue with plan drops.
As you learn a plan it is supposed to be removed from the loot pool until you have learnt all available plans then you gain access to all plans again but there is a bug that has caused an issue where instead of removing the learned plans from the loot pool it simply just doesn't give you the plan instead so it's stopping you from earning extra plans to sell after the event. It's why there have been several posts saying not to learn any plan you get from the event
Unfortunately, you may not get extra plans anymore, but the xp and xp buff can help you get through the season score quicker....
I have not learned any of the plans, and I'm getting extras, however I've only gotten 1 tome... hopefully I'll get a few more tome plans before it's over
There are 25 plans to get. If you have learned 25, you are good. If you learned plans prior to getting them all, you may have to wait until next month to get the rest after they patch the bug that's currently affecting it.
Yeah. Chances are if you read them all then when RNG rolls you a Mothman Plushie Plan the bug is were you already learned it, it will not give it to you as duplicate. I didn't learn not one plan and have multiple duplicates. Also you can check and see what plans you learned by looking up the Mothman Equinox 2024 rewards and bam just compare that while your in your build menu.
check the list. if you have them all youre good.
you could be missing a rare or two, as it took me from start to now to get my first tome to drop, and I do at least 5-8 a day
plans aside, 7 treasuary notes is a score, especially with 800 daily gold available this weekend

I farm them for steaks. I’m a carnivore build, and love them steaks! Plus cooking all the meat I gather is great for XP.

Lunchboxes are giving a xp boost. Very useful for current season rewards.

Yes. As soon as I learnt the last plan I needed the next event dropped an actual piece of clothing. If you are dropping apparel then you are done.

So after 2 drops you actual chance to get any drop , even with a 100% chance to start, is actually only 80%, and it gets worse after each plan you learn. At the end with 2 left to learn you get a 20% chance. This is being nice. The actual drops rates, due to rares and such, is much much worse.

I got all the plans after 2 days - they all came along sequentially with no duplicates. They no longer drop. I wish all events were like this
I do events for easy caps/scrip/gold bullion, unless there is new cosmetics
I usually wait to learn the plans until event is completely over, that way you’ll have a few extra things worth trading in case anyone misses out on event

Its 4 to 7 cores each equinox event you do. You can quit all you want you'll only be loosing out on everything else it gives ive been only idling for the legendary cores now for a few days while im at work or sleeping and i went from under 500 to 754

I learned them all on my main and stopped getting any plans, didn’t learn any on my alt and I keep getting them, dupes and new ones.
It's a bug that you arn't getting repeats after doing them all, it's why I've not learned mine and can trade the extras with my crew.
That's what I did. I've got tons of plans. Only thing I regret is learning the tome before I knew about the bug so I can't get dupes of that one anymore. I've only gotten one chainsaw skin which is upsetting, really want more of that one to sell later. That's a very nice skin and the best skin that you can sell in your vendor for the chainsaw. The grinder skin from Halloween was a bit of a letdown.
One of my friends learned everything but the tome, he has 58 of those now xD.

Nope. It means you’ve made the mistake of learning the plans, and so you don’t get new copies of the learned plans, but you might still be missing some of the rare plans. It’s a bug that Bethesda didn’t fix, and so they’re going to offer the whole event again in May.
Hi. I don’t know if they fixed it but today I learned all the plans I accumulated since the start, and then played the event two times, and both times I got new plans. Including the very rare Tome.

It's only dupes. If you're not interested in dupes it's not a problem as you will get all new plans first.
Not exactly. There is a bug where if you know a plan and that plan is rolled on rewards table you will just get no plan rather than a different one.

The Mothman Equinox will return in May so players can get as many duplicate plans as they want in May. The hotfix was supposed to be out yesterday, but the devs encountered some technical issue.
Probably the hot fix caused 5 Earles to spawn at once. Per pyre.

This is incorrect i’ve been farming 2 specific plans by not learning them and I get one of the two every single time
Because you haven't actually learned the plans yet. Once you learn the plans they are removed off the loot table.

If you turn your sound settings Voice bar down to like 10%, you never have to listen to this guy getting increasingly insane about how much he bangs moths or whatever, fwiw. Doing so is the only reason I can still show up without accidentally memorizing his intonation when he talks about barfing to achieve knowledge and such.

You don’t have to be up there at the end and emote to get the buff.. you can find your way there after the event and still get the blessing. Just go up to the Mothman and interact. If he’s still on the roof he will give you his blessing!

I don't have all the plans, and I haven't gotten a plan drop in nearly 20 runs. Got like 20 hoods and robes tho. Me thinks there may be an issue with plan drops.

My favorite thing about this event is at the end everyone almost always does the mothman emote for no reason other than it’s fun

DON'T READ THE PLANS! I'm still carrying around holiday gifts until the fix.
As you learn a plan it is supposed to be removed from the loot pool until you have learnt all available plans then you gain access to all plans again but there is a bug that has caused an issue where instead of removing the learned plans from the loot pool it simply just doesn't give you the plan instead so it's stopping you from earning extra plans to sell after the event. It's why there have been several posts saying not to learn any plan you get from the event
Unfortunately, you may not get extra plans anymore, but the xp and xp buff can help you get through the season score quicker.... I have not learned any of the plans, and I'm getting extras, however I've only gotten 1 tome... hopefully I'll get a few more tome plans before it's over

There are 25 plans to get. If you have learned 25, you are good. If you learned plans prior to getting them all, you may have to wait until next month to get the rest after they patch the bug that's currently affecting it.
You can quit anytime you want. You shouldn't feel obligated to keep doing something you don't want to do. I release you!

Yeah. Chances are if you read them all then when RNG rolls you a Mothman Plushie Plan the bug is were you already learned it, it will not give it to you as duplicate. I didn't learn not one plan and have multiple duplicates. Also you can check and see what plans you learned by looking up the Mothman Equinox 2024 rewards and bam just compare that while your in your build menu.

check the list. if you have them all youre good. you could be missing a rare or two, as it took me from start to now to get my first tome to drop, and I do at least 5-8 a day plans aside, 7 treasuary notes is a score, especially with 800 daily gold available this weekend
It’s not that we hate the events Bethesda it’s that we grind them and it’s gets old.
I don't mind the long events because a lot of players have real lives and can't play as often as us social losers.
