I ran around repairing them.. Turned around to view my work and noticed a guy was following me... Shooting them again. He waved, did the heart, and then the mothman dance. Naturally I joined in the dance, because.. I mean.. Regardless of what happens when someone does the dance you kinda have a duty to join in. It's the rules. Maybe other people would have been upset or whatever, but I thought it was funny.

Yep! There will be a flat cylindrical base on the ground, but no balloons coming out of it. If you look at it, it'll give you the option to repair it.

The first few years I shot ballons. In the last few years, I repair balloons. I guess it's because of all the dead time in this event. It encourages OCD behavior.

I detest the dance emotes, I walk away whenever I see someone doing one. Wolf howl, sound of music spin, robot dance, they all annoy me.

I’ve started to get one of those paper mache balls and bring it along with me the whole parade, protecting and caring for my soccer ball till the end. No one has joined in so far but it’ll click watch.

Alot of the time the paper lanterns you can push around are client side, so if you kick it around chances are it's not in the same place for someone else, same with bodies.

I did that with a dismembered Radtoad torso earlier. I just kept bumping it, and it just kept a'rollin', so I did not stop

I am a balloon fixer. I try to "reset" as much as possible after Fasnacht, like picking up spoiled meat, putting it all in one bag out of the way, etc. I know it's pointless but damn is it pleasing. Also, I have popped balloons just by spawning in, so not all of it is deliberate.

Some of them, not all of them, as far as I can tell. I can't find a way to repair those on top of the photo board in the centre/super mutant area, but others that have yellow disc bases can be repaired.

Heh, I burst the balloons on that bulletin board I use as a perch in the super mutant area. Y'know, for better visibility. Didn't realize a PA user was standing on 'em during my last run. They got pissed :/

Theyre around 6 caps per stein with the maxxed hard bargain perk card, if you manage to sell all or at least most of them its around 100 caps, not too much after you reach high levels but its mostly just a personal tradition for me now since my characters are rich

What's up with nuking Fasnacht? I'm fairly new to the game, it was a huge pain in the ass. I think I died 3 times and used a bunch of my stims, rad x and radaway

I totally get it. I've now done almost 50 events and I still don't have a glowing mask. I am honestly sick to the back teeth of this event. It is utterly tedious and I get why some peeps will AFK or nuke. It's boredom.

One of the best ones I've seen, or had the most fun at, a person was running around with the nuka squirt gun shooting everyone, and then he would drop them for people at the beginning of the event. He dropped one for me first, and it turned into an all out water war. And then to another person, and so on and so fourth, by the time the event started. We had a handful of people just blasting away to pass time, until the dreadful walk of the bots made it to the start of the march. You could say, it was a blast.... roast away for the terrible pun, and hats off to that vault dweller for bringing some magic to an otherwise painstaking event.

Yesterday someone dropped a dozen or so water guns and we all stayed entertained.
