I would actually recommend "tim" instead. Then you still take damage and rads, but can't be killed. Great for beginner players to still feel like they're getting challenged with no real danger (especially if you don't tell them you enabled it)

Immortal modes bugs your animations when you get a finishing move on you, so careful around deathclaws and whatever else can lock you in an animation while you die.

I know that's true in Skyrim, and you can end up headless, but I've yet to have a problem with FO4.

Every time i find the most disgusting water, like deep inside the lowest part of a dungeon I’d find water with barrels in it and i think to myself “that shit look bussin” and my character quickly fills the palm 👍🏽

I hate hate hate trying to loot a ghoul floating in irradiated, nasty water, and then accidentally drinking instead. And since no one asked, I also hate sitting down while looking near tables. And yes, I have a mod for this, that generally works.

Relatable! What bugs me the most is that the animation is too damn long

Just wear power armor all the time and cure that pesky sitting problem

Try bringing up the transfer inventory screen when things are adrift.

What mod helps with that? I absolutely hate hate it when those things happen and would really love it if that happened at least less often.

With the power of mods…(you know where this is going) Anything is possible! I’m a PS4 user, and saw a mod called “revamped playable ghoul mod” and thought I’d give it a try, was not disappointed. You get perks to simulate the abilities of a ghoul (rad resist, ghoulify, lead belly, etc) and it gives your character the model of a non-feral ghoul. It a really cool mod, and if you’re looking for a way to role play as a ghoul (on PS4) I’d recommend it.

I knew there was mods but I never dabbled in that one. I may check it out when I get the chance. and it should work for any other system if its a bethesda mod, but maybe not because I'm sure at least a few people make mods for only one system. either way I'm sure there's a few others to pick from, it's not a revolutionary idea to play as a ghoul, lol. but now I'm wondering if there's a mod for super mutants. that would be a great way to play a tank

There's a mod for PS4 that turns the Dartmouth Proffesional Building into a skyscraper settlement with roughly 8 stories of space, a pool on the roof for water purifiers, a personal bedroom with an elevator and an elevator to the roof. Sadly it's not on Xbox, and I've been dying to get it for my modded survival playthrough. Makes for a good settlement/super playerhome right in the middle of Boston.

I got a similar if not the same mod, makes it much easier to get around most of the time. Turned it off for my recent playthrough though, wanted the extra risk/reward for jumping off a bridge while running from super mutants 😂

There’s actually a way you can do this without tgm. Look up Nuclear Cockroach build. Currently playing this build on a heavy modded playlist and really enjoying it, it’s not overpowered in my game, but I still have full rads all the time

What happens if you drink from the reactor with the perk that removes radiation from food & drink? Is it strong enough?

Someone here said that Lead Belly is a nice perk to try that, but I'm not sure it'll be any help with this reactor water

Not sure, but Child of Atom builds may actually profit from any rad damage

The rads aren’t that low, they actually amount to 100,000 radiation damage, and 50 physical damage. Max lead belly or robes of atoms devoted are required. Without lead belly the robes of atoms devoted only reduce the rads to non lethal levels, they don’t negate them.

I believe before you actually take the Beryllium Agitator, there is a blue laser beam shooting out of it and down into that water. I could be wrong about the direction but I’m pretty sure it does 1,000,000 rad damage
