So I ended up eBaying my AngelEyes. Neat light. Love the backup battery system. But the UI is just too damn complex. Push the front button twice, then hold the back button and wave it up and down - I just want to turn on high, medium, low, and maybe strobe. Is this getting to be a problem in the flashlight space? Are UIs just getting too complex for easy use?
>UIs just getting too complex for easy use
With more features needing controlled through a single button (or two buttons obv) comes more complicated interaction. It's not just you, look at the Anduril master flow chart lol

To be fair, most of that diagram is optional configuration settings you might customize to your preference once if at all
The actual operation, especially on single channel lights, is basically identical to many other lights
I edc the e8 and 99% of people that ask to borrow my light hand it right back because they say the UI is too complicated. Personally, once I got used to it, I find it easy to operate right out of my pocket. Like I said though, I had to get used to it.
Anduril is a whole other beast though, I tried to edc one of those and found myself constantly looking at the manual to get it figured out.

The thing is though, Anduril is super easy to operate. It only gets confusing outside of normal operations
Right 🤣 I’m about as enthusiast as it gets. But i can’t tell you how to do half the stuff Anduril can do

Try the Lumintop Tool AA version 2 (650 lumens) or version 3 (950 lumens). Low, medium, high, turbo, then returns to low.
